  1. Not sure, I doubt there will be a cash gate, maybe they will sell them from a ticket booth or something, which stand is it that's shut prompting this cut in tickets anyway?
  2. When was that? I spoke to AFC earlier and they said unsold tickets were being returned at 4pm today.
  3. So disapointed with Kerr, not just at Aberdeen actually but just in general, he's never fulfilled that early ChampMan promise!
  4. You can imagine that Dutch Pub teams were probably the equivilant of our SPL sides at that time though. Its on his profile on Wiki, also says he was asked to play for Scotland and said no. I thought he was a great player for Aberdeen, I always felt like he was going to score or create something when he was on the ball.
  5. Presumably was heading for a 5 until he scored.
  6. Young has reverted to type, did not contribute anything on Saturday although by the same token was far from the worst player. Think we have to play our best 11 on Wednesday and if folk need resting on Saturday for the cup tie against Raith then so be it.
  7. To answer my own question Aberdeen (4-4-2): J Langfield 7 — R Foster 6, J Ifil 5, C Mulgrew 5, J Paterson 5 — D Young 5 (sub: S Aluko, 62 5), G McDonald 6, M Kerr 5 (sub: A Diamond, 88), M Paton 6 — S MacLean 5, D Mackie 6 (sub: P Pawlett, 65 4). Substitutes not used: P Marshall, S Nelson. Booked: Ifil, Aluko.
  8. Probably, but if we're talking about strikers in any case Di Rocco would not get near the players I am going to pick Great subject in general this though.
  9. Have to agree with Sharpie, if the point is who offered the most over these two decades then Hignett had some good games but was mostly disinterested. He cost us a fortune in wages and whether or not we made it back in a transfer fee is deabatable. For me the fact he clearly did not want to play for Aberdeen means I did not consider him for a second. I loved watching Bisconti, I always had the feeling however that 10 years earlier he wouldn't have got a sniff of a game for Aberdeen so couldn't consider him for the reason that he was a decent player but only because we were so dreadful.
  10. Lets hope they don't turn up, always hated midweek games at Easter Road early 90's, we always seemed to pump them on a weekend game but midweek brought out some bizarre performances, or so it felt at the time.
  11. Fair shout, I think Bett was brilliant too though, clearly not as under-rated as I thought and Connors left foot was outstanding at times.
  12. Depends if Ally S is reading this.
  13. So what did Kerr get today? Never really read any match reports.
  14. I agree totally, more so come Wednesday night, its why I am dreading the replay also however as Raith will sat back and that's where we struggle.
  15. Taking it a game at a time, why have we got no chance of beating Hibs? We were unfortunate to lose 2-0 to them at Easter Road when we played with 9 men for over half an hour and whilst they are getting good results they are far from unbeatable. Feel that Celtic is a lot stiffer challenge, they make loads of chances and someone's going to take a pummelling from them soon.
  16. Your joking right? One game of keepie uppie? What about the 5 years (minus time out for injuries) before that where Jess was simply sensational at times. He was a great player, loved Connor as a player but no pace in your midfield dude
  17. Whyte?? McLeish defo and would probably have picked Anderson, missed this poll unfortunately. Always mind going towards the end of Millers career and everyone was in awe of Miller, then seeing his knees give up at Easter Road one game.
  18. Great interview, can't believe no cant will give him a lift
  19. Can't believe someone paid £50! I'd probably pay £10 most weeks, anyway think its a good idea for grounds like ours that have 10,000 empty seats every week.
  20. Well on this specific occasion I could be wrong but if he isn't a weegie he needs to loosen his belt somewhat.
  21. Good point, also looking at it celtic whilst not winning are creating a stack of chances, they are due to give someone a total pasting...
  22. I know, seen a few that I recognised doing it, one of those got told to shut his mouth by the afore mentioned gentleman who then told him to shut his weegie gob. By this point i'd given up correcting him and just let the two carry on a stare out contest through me, no mean achievement these days Weegies might be used to drinking heavily but i'm not used to so many weegie accents which was more my point, one weegie in the lengthy pie queue never even stopped for breath whilst moaning about how the football had ruined his day out
  23. Would that be any real loss? I don't even know the answer, I thought he was outstanding at Hearts and woeful yesterday. Surely there is a consistency angle to be found somewhere.
  24. Thank god that's all he said, somewhere else I read he was modelling himself on Mark Kerr
  25. I didn't find it that tough. Mason Richardson Bett Jess = outstanding. If Mason's not in this team it should be scrapped!
