  1. It's only clever if you have adequate or better replacements lined up when they tell us to do one.
  2. I've a slightly different personal situation. Wife and kids makes it easier. I had a knee reconstruction 3 years ago and some pins removed, and it got to the point where I wondered why I'd bothered. 5 months of fitness, healthy eating and no demon drink and the op is justified. Hendricks I picked up from Adam, it's the best gin I've tasted.
  3. Fairly pickeld, working on the same measures as last year so it'll be sore tomorow. I'd really advise anyone to do it for a while. I'm as fit as I was since I had to quit playing football 9 years ago.
  4. My first drink in 5 months tonight, on the Kendricks and Tonic.
  5. Disagree, a football club not having a budget sorted 2 weeks before the end of the season is beyond pish.
  6. It's difficult to say who is to blame but this should have been sorted months ago.
  7. No vision, no planning, no leadership. An absolute, total, fucking shambles.
  8. I dare say Mulgrew would be better at CB than in midfield. Might be worth telling Willie to bring his boots.
  9. Should play Seve in midfield, it's almost a guaranteed performance from him.
  10. I see that cunt Graham Poll says the decision to give a penalty was right because "when Fletcher goes for the ball he knows he will bring Fabregas down in the process". Answers on a postcard becuase I'm fucked if I know what that means. If a ref looks at that (after the fact, on replay) and says it's a penalty then I no longer understand football. At the time it was understandable that the penalty was given and he was subsequently sent off (angle and split second decision) but to have no right of appeal is beyond shit.
  11. Sounds fair enough to me, the man has to look out for him and his family. Surely AFC should be budgeting +3% on each member of staff in line with (previous) inflation. Since we didn't have European football this year I can't see why it has such an impact on our current deals or possible extensions. If Smith leaves then I fully expect his salary budget is available for a new player. Not having a fixed budget and not being able to offer contracts until the end of the season in which players are out of contract is poor management, it borders on negligence. Either that or they have no intention of offering him a new deal and are just keeping him interested until the end of the season..

    Summer

I was waiting for someone to say something along the lines of "university of life". ST doesn't disappoint. And Andrew, it's pretty safe to assume our resident masters and PhD students didn't get arithmetic and mathematics "mixed up".
  13. This place is fucking populated almost entirely by people not living in Aberdeen. That's another 12.
  14. Is this a trick question?
  15. I'm not ambitious though.
  16. My take on the whole thing is fair play to those who showed up. It's not my thing but at least they did what they said they were going to do. To the rest of the JMG camp - "Turn up for your protest, you didn't turn up for your protest".
  17. It's pretty safe to assume that anyone who refers to themselves in the third person twice in one day is talking bollocks.
  18. I'd rather we never win anything though.
  19. I think that shows a lack of ambition and celebrates the mediocre.
  20. Do, do, do, come on and do the conga.
  21. He's taken us as far as he can. Football is a simple game, made complex by idiots. The more informed, abmitious fans.
  22. You sound like a Hun.
  23. YOU DESERVE BETTER.
  24. Fwee Bwian. He's not the messiah, he's just a very naughty boy.
