  1. Speaking to a Hibee mate today he said that Hearts were awful on Thursday and we should take them to pieces. He thought us and UTD were the only teams he had seen this season that were any good I have felt for a long time that Hearts, while being well organised, are a terrible footballing side. If we step up to the plate then we should beat them comfortably. We have played some decent football against both Celtic and UTD in recent weeks and at Pittodrie we are hard to beat. I'm confident. In/out: IN Pre-match: Free bus with the Livi Reds Match: SS - the only place to be Post-match: Bus as above. 2-0 Dons. Miller double.
  2. Did we not utterly humiliate ourselves when we went through as cup runners up, against the Bohs or some bullshit like that ?
  3. Creeping ever closer to that magic golden target. A Miller hatrick at Ibrox would be nice. If we make the 30 do we just get handed the league trophy as a matter of decency ? The helicopter will be heading to Pittodrie.
  4. I thought I heard the down market forum posters singing 'two Sone Aluko's'
  5. It's brilliant isn't it. Its like breaking into someones house and claiming damages for getting cut on the broken window. I'm sure the authorities will be looking to question Riordan, or was it Mr Tickle as his arms must have been a fair length to strike the boy from that distance.
  6. Where do you guys find the time ? I barely know the starting 11 of the top 6 SPL clubs names let alone whether they are good enough or not. I get my two daughters names mixed up for fuck sake.
  7. Was a good game to watch and thought we did well. We were ripping them when Kerr got pinged and would possibly have gone on to win the game. The last 15 was very even, it was hard to tell we were a man down. I though Vidal was superb going forward, put in some lovely balls. Unlucky not to end up with 3 points but an encouraging display.
  8. Fair point, and not without substance. However, it possibly indicates the real position of a club like UTD when they are playing with a never say die attitude and their manager is being presented as potential manager of the year throughout a season where they are struggling to hold onto 4th best. Clearly I carry much bias in this view but I think UTD are severly over-rated as a team at present. We, on the other hand, are playing beneath ourselves most weeks with players who excel in apathy and our fans are screaming for our managers head on a stick yet we are still challenging UTD for 4th best. That is the main reason why I would never see a trip to Tannandice as any sort of foregone conclusion. Far from it. Thats not to say that UTD won't be hungrier or simply better than us on the night but the fact still remains that on the day, if we play how we should, we can take 3 points. No question.

  10. Last 20 fixtures: Dons - Won 8, Drawn 8, Lost 4 UTD - Won 6, Drawn 9, Lost 5 I'd say they are every bit as shaky as us, if not more so. Don't believe the hype that surrounds UTD and Avril Levein. Just because they give Rangers & Celtic a game every time they play them doesn't mean they are the team you read about. The myopic media view every team through how they play against the OF without taking any time to understand how banal and shite they can be outwith.
  11. 3 points on Thursday (we should always believe that is a good prospect) turns everything around. We go into two home games against Hibs and Hearts (lets forget Ibrox as a spectacle) and should be looking for 6 points in those. I can't see UTD getting more than the 3 from Hearts. Its all down to Thursday. Surely you can retain some degree of optimism for a result against a shaky UTD side ? You'll feel so much better when we have dispensed with them this week.
  12. I'll be there. This is a cruncher for us, if we don't take three points the season is cooked. Still hoping the OF take care of their fixtures against Hearts and UTD so we can sneak it. If we play like we did on Saturday I think we will take them. 2-1 us
  13. You are too easy dude.
  14. I see you get the young player of the month now for scoring a double in one game http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/heart_of_midlothian/8025399.stm
  15. Stop agreeing with everyone all the time and shape your own thoughts then. Confidence and self-belief will make you stronger and happier too
  16. I have an elaborate plan designed to provide my support for the team and the lads who pull on the red & white every week but at the same time to show my disaproval of the club management by giving them £0 of my hard earned. I have put this proposal to the club to allow me access to support the team without money changing hands. They are considering it.
  17. The faces of Scotty Brown, Jackie Nakamura et al will be enough to wipe any learnings I suspect. The 'look up-size up midfield-hoof it' policy will be in full force within 10 mins.
  18. His brand of football looks pretty dire. It may be a resource limitation but watching Hearts must be pretty painful at the moment. I suspect he is excellent when it comes to bringing a bit of backbone, discipline and structure to the club set up but he doesn't look like silky soccer is high on his agenda.
  19. I'd be quite happy to see Maguire play up top with Aluko on Saturday as long as the rest of the team are briefed that its not Lee Miller up there and long balls to their heads are not on the menu.
  20. I still see Considine as that 'young player' who should be given a chance. I'm sure someone will tell me he is actually 31 now but I think he has been less of a liability in recent times and should be given the opportunity to settle into a partnership with ZD.
  21. Unfortunately I think this story is actually a sign that Hearts are cleaning up some aspects of their business. These kind of players are representative of a ludicrous episode in their existence and the present manager seems to be weeding out the leeches/deadwood at the club. More reason to worry than laugh I suspect.
  22. I lasted at Tannadice the last time I was there. Think the team did too.
  23. C'mon guys, where's the belief ? If we treat every game in the top 6 split like a cup game then...... ...aye, OK 5th it is
  24. Seve is dead, long live Mark Kerr. Thats all.
  25. Am I correct in thinking that their wages as a %age of turnover is significantly worse than it was before ? Seem to remember it was more like 98% and that looked really fucking bad. Dear fuck it must be time to leap across to laughing at the cunts again. Best part is they are presenting these financials as good news...erm I mean cautious optimism. Nuggets.
