One of the worst games I have watched in a long while. Despite Dunfermline flooding the final third the entire game and killing it as any sort of spectacle we should be good enough to combat those tactics from such a poor side. So many times we got the ball in their half and the players were all looking at each other wondering what to do with it. It was embarrassing. A terrible pitch, two terrible teams playing terrible football. I'm genuinely stunned by the standard of football I just witnessed. Can't say any more. Simply ripped asunder.

Agree about Motherwell, Hibs will struggle to take many points from the 3 games after us as they are really pretty poor. We should take them at ER and that will be them KO'd. The game at Fir Park will be tough, especially if they pick up 3 points at Rugby Pk and their pitch is still a disaster. Motherwell will make top 6 along with us, UTD and Hearts although if anyone is going to drop out of it to let Hibs in I'd put my money on UTD. I reckon its anybody's at present, UTD are leaking points all over the place and Hearts have a brutal run in.

I think Aluko had made the clear space for himself and was entitled to try for goal. It was only in hindsight (ie he missed) that you can say with confidence that he should have offloaded it to Wright. Always easier to be the fan looking back than the player deciding in the moment.
