Robbie: I can haul Dons up the SPL - EE 8/10

Lets give the Norwegians Zander, Mulgrew and Miller + £750 for him. That seems a fair deal. -

Give them a break dude. 4 goals in 10 games between them so far......over the season that could be as much as......erm........18 goals between them if we make it to 45 games -
Defenders - 3 Midfielders - 3 Strikers - 4 The strikers are really showing up those lazy bastards in the back line now Any chance of getting this stickied so I don't have to keep finding it ?

He'll probably get a deal with our manager's history of signing family. -
Pants down and bend over please. Now would be a good time to roll out pics of a new stadium. Receptive audience awaits

EDIT: Having read the offside rules.

Bit of a damp squid there Bilbo -
P&J - Calderwood: not a chance of Aberdeen going down
Ajja replied to a topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I don't agree. I think we are too good to be relegated and there is no chance we will be. Whats more painful to imagine is we might end up mid-table having endured a flat and miserable but acceptable season of downs and the odd up like winning at Tannadice and reaching the QFs of the Scottish Cup. Hold me fucking back....I'd almost settle for a relegation battle to get some blood running in my veins about Aberdeen FC. -
I don't think we should get too carried away with this one. Bottom line is that an offside (or lack of) decision was made incorrectly. It's a common element of the game and we will benefit from them as often as we suffer (for the record I think the huns goal was NOT offside earlier in the season. yet was given that way). Mulgrew's handling of the ball was exactly what it was and he was punished in exactly the way he had to be. I'm not happy about the outcome and Mike McCurry is indeed everything you all say he is. However, let's not pretend that Aberdeen lost that game because of refereeing incompetence. We lost that game because depsite being given huge amounts of posession by a Hibs team that sat back and invited us to attack, we were unable to do so with any level of competence. The smoke and mirrors of offsides and hand balls don't hide those facts, however much we want them to.

Fixture Change - St Mirren game now 11th November

Is that Setanta sizing up potential relegation battles to maximise viewing figures ? -
It's just like watching the Dons I was in control with no real fear of defeat, then I fail to make the right substitution, a dodgy refereeing decision (see Sharon argument!) and a late strike and its all gone tit shaped. Well played though mate You took your goals well. A clean sweep in the CD is an impressive sight regardless of the victor.
-
Oh come on mate, the huns losing to the team at the bottom of the league will always be funny, regardless of the impact on us (within reason of course ).
-
I think we will beat falkirk now. I think the players have sunk as far as they can now and will put in a blinder. By the time we have played every team in the league once we will be in the top 4.
-
I suspect that the top 6 places will end up as they are at present with Killie, UTD, Hearts and Hibs taking up the 4 places.
-
your thinking has gotten all fucked up
-
Sounded to me exactly the same as the UTD game (and possibly Hamilton as well). We had huge amounts of possession and so were able to look reasonably good in spells. Critically though, we made very few chances and never really looked like scoring from open play. It's all well and good to say that we 'played well' but when a team comes to Pittodrie and sits in, soaking up the minor amount of pressure we put on them and then waits to hit us with the sucker punch then we are going to get done everytime. We only had possession because Hibs let us have it, as did UTD when they came to Pittodrie. These teams are coming up and mugging us because we haven't got the fire power to hurt them. Its fucking embarrassing.
-
We could be brothers
-
Wishful thinking there mizer ? I'm bored rigid with the bleeding hearts coming out of Pittodrie. You might be hurting, so I suggest you take a long hard look at whats going on around you and SHUT THE FUCK UP. You at least have the position and power to affect it so go out and FUCKING DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT FOR FUCK SAKE. :hammer:

Didn't see Everton but I thought Motherwell were piss poor tonight. They defended very poorly (something we did very well in Europe last year) and looked devoid of ideas going forward. Their Calderwood-esque tactics towards the end were utterly comical. McGhee for manager ? Na, not that fussed really.

Different set of fixtures. Not apples with apples

I wrote a short story once during a particularly dull game against Aidrie in the 80s. I then shamelessly promoted it to death. Really really embarrassing stuff

One of the problems with JC's reign is the peaks and troughs we experience. This is why I have said I'm sure it will be 'turned around', however, I don't for a second believe it will be a long term turnaround. It will more likely be a short burst of results followed by another sticky patch..... ad infinitum. That's my long view and it makes me think that a change would be good but that is only if we can secure a manager who can actually do something more. I'm not interested in sacrificial sackings to appease a blood thirsty section of our fanbase who have a time horizon of about a dozen games before the wrists are being opened again. It seems to me that anyone on here who gives more than an ounce of reasoned thought to this debate has a similar outlook so for now its about getting behind them and hoping for a burst of success to push us up the table and see what goes from there. I agree with Jager that we will probably just have to ride out the contract and see what's in store after that. At least we're not a bank.

This pricing policy may be based on a head count, if two huns were to breed then its likely at least one of the children would have two heads ?
