  1. You been guzzling some of his produce Stoney?
  2. McNamara had us all juiced up too.
  3. Yes, finishing above UTD in their best league season in years while having our worst in 3 years would be funny.
  4. Signed on a pre-contract agreement. 1 down lots to go. He scored against Everton you know!
  5. Last time we had a limited squad and UTD came north did we not send them packing with a lesson in playing football ? Bring these cunts right on, we're havin' Jute pie come saturday.
  6. ZD is missing for the next two games. Optimism officially a thing of the past. Please lock this thread.
  7. Forgot all about that one from the Celtic game Ach well, I was able to remain optimistic for at least 36 hours
  8. Although it's splitting hairs I think both their games in hand are against Rangers, the Celtic fixture is a normal top 6 fixture. Whichever way its cooked, they still have a very difficult run in and I think they might be the club with the least momentum behind them at the moment. Bottom line is that we have 2 fixtures we have to take care of. Get through them with 6 points and we give ourselves a fantastic crack at it, with the huns already champions we should be comfortable in that game.
  9. I think you are right. We should take care of UTD if we are hungry enough but playing Motherwell at Fir Park is not something we do well. The pitch will make it a bit of a lottery though so we might have a chance. Would be good just to get to that point knowing that we could have something to play for against the huns. They will have almost certainly wrapped up the title by then so will have nothing to play for. If they haven't then we are unlikely to be looking at 3rd as someone will have had to beat them and that will blow our chances. We need Hibs, Motherwell and UTD to pick up very few points from now on.
  10. I see Sheilds has said we are the worst Aberdeen side he has seen in years and he is ashamed to have lost to us
  11. Its true flooter, AFC is like a drug but we are all hooked and we don't need some clean mother fucker coming and telling us how good it is when you are off the shit. We all want to hope and dream and we will cling onto whatever bullshit there is to believe in. At present there is a faint hope that we can salvage something from this season. Let us dwell on this and until its not possible bask in the potential glory. I feel good about it all.
  12. I think our game at Fir Park might be the biggy. I can see us taking care of UTD at Pittodrie and the OF taking care of the others in between as they chase the title. Got to hope Celtic win tomorrow to keep the title alive. I think Motherwell look like a team who are crawling over the line in terms of performances. If we can get some momentum behind us then this set of results is a tall order but clearly possible. Hibs could still be in a position to win against Motherwell and get 54 points meaning they would be 3rd if we lost to Rangers in the scenario I have laid out above. Still something to play for, however tenuous.
  13. I was actually surprised the crowd was that big! Anyone know roughly how many away fans there were ?
  14. Saturday, 26 April 2008 Aberdeen v Hibernian - Win for Aberdeen Motherwell v Dundee Utd - Draw 3 Motherwell 33 53 4 Dundee Utd 35 52 5 Hibernian 35 51 6 Aberdeen 35 47 Saturday, 03 May 2008 Aberdeen v Dundee Utd - Win for Aberdeen Motherwell v Celtic - Win for Celtic 3 Motherwell 34 53 4 Dundee Utd 36 52 5 Hibernian 35 51 6 Aberdeen 36 50 Sunday, 04 May 2008 Hibernian v Rangers - Win for Huns 3 Motherwell 34 53 4 Dundee Utd 36 52 5 Hibernian 36 51 6 Aberdeen 36 50 Wednesday, 07 May 2008 Rangers v Motherwell - Win for Huns 3 Motherwell 35 53 4 Dundee Utd 36 52 5 Hibernian 36 51 6 Aberdeen 36 50 Saturday, 10 May 2008 Motherwell v Aberdeen - Win for Aberdeen Rangers v Dundee Utd - Win for Huns 3 Motherwell 36 53 4 Aberdeen 37 53 5 Dundee Utd 37 52 6 Hibernian 36 51 Sunday, 11 May 2008 Celtic v Hibernian - Win for Tims 3 Motherwell 36 53 4 Aberdeen 37 53 5 Dundee Utd 37 52 6 Hibernian 37 51 Assuming Motherwell lose their game in hand against the Huns before the last set of fixtures then we would go into the last day as follows: 3 Motherwell 36 53 4 Aberdeen 37 53 5 Dundee Utd 37 52 6 Hibernian 37 51 Sunday, 18 May 2008 Aberdeen v Rangers Dundee Utd v Celtic Hibernian v Motherwell We win and Hibs beat Motherwell or they draw and UTD lose to Celtic then we are home and hosed. Depending on goal difference (which we have a poor one) we could possibly only draw, although Hibs or Motherwell could match our points total in this case. Might as well stay positive until 4:45 today
  15. I think we can afford for that to happen. Then Motherwell MUST lose to Hibs. **I should note at this point I don't think we can do this I'm simply speculating as to the requirements

Heston was the Derek Young of the Death squad.
  18. Today Motherwell draw or lose to UTD (currently 1-1 at HT) Today we beat Hibs. After this weekend: We win all our next 3 (UTD, Well and Huns). Aberdeen 56 points. Motherwell lose to OF and us and lose or draw with Hibs. Motherwell 52 or 53 or 55 points. Hibs lose to OF and beat or draw with Motherwell. Hibs 53 or 55 points. UTD lose to us and OF. UTD 52 or 54 points. Hello Europe Basically, OF beat all other teams and Motherwell don't beat Hibs or UTD then we win all our games and its a done deal
  19. I might get a t-shirt printed for next season, dedicated to the Youngs. I haven't decided on the message, any ideas ?
  20. Always good to know that coming here would be right up his alley.
  21. Even their fans wanted to come on and get torn in. It really must have been too much for the poor fuckers to swallow when a team like ours came to the home of 'ra people' and tore them a new one.
  22. ....all that is wrong with these scumbags. Nice goal from Hewitt though
  23. Your 'contract' or statement of terms and conditions as they are officially called is merely a written version of the 'contract' of employment you have with your employer. The real 'contract' is held by the fact that you receive payment for your 'work' on an ongoing basis. The details of your terms and conditions are what holds you or the company to certain aspects but as a general agreement its the taking wages for work that really constitutes the 'contract' not a piece of paper. Thus, tearing up a piece of paper has no effect whatsoever other than to send an emotional message to you employer that you are spitting the dummy.
