Maybe not in one game but 19 goals against in our last 5 games might put a slight amount of pressure to try something different. Soutar did very little wrong in the first few games of the season.

Some players must be needing a rest. It makes some sense to change things about. 4-1 against UTD 5-1 against Celtic 3-1 against Hibs 5-1 against Bayern Why oh why is Langfield not playing......... Its utterly perplexing.

At this stage we need Motherwell to stop taking points so Hearts winning was good news, unfortunately. UTD dropping two was also good. Langfield is hot and cold for me. Its easy to say he is terrible with the blunders he makes but last night he flapped at their first two goals and also pulled off some great stops. This has been the case all season, its hard to know what you are going to get from him in 90 minutes let alone game to game. He is a microcosm of our team. Would the real Langfield, and Aberdeen FC please turn up for the rest of the season

This is the frustrating thing. We all know we are more likely to see that other Aberdeen side on Sunday. You know the one full of players who won't get out of bed for anything less than top class European opposition.

Lets hope JC is true to his word now and plays 4-4-2 for the rest of the season with Aluko supporting the front two and some front foot, balls out, attacking football. I think 3rd is beyond us now so the cup game is everything. Up an' at 'em Dons.

Well done to the Dons tonight. We were well beaten by one of the best teams in club football. Despite the scoreline I don't think we disgraced ourselves with a very young team. Fans were great too

We played reasonably well yesterday and should have wiped the floor with a very poor Hibs side. Top six will be secured although 3rd looks difficult but not impossible. It could go any way with the results most teams are getting. Its got to be the most open league from 3rd to 9th in many a year. I have this strange feeling in me that we are going to do the unthinkable on Thursday. I know its crazy but I just think something has worked out for us in Europe this season. The result in Dnipro, followed by the results that set us up for a win against Copenhagen and then us thrashing them 4-0 and finally the performance against Bayern. I really think we are going to bag them. I also think we will take Celtic in the Scottish cup. They will be distracted with their fight against the hun for the title and a trip to Barcelona for a titanic match the week before. Positive, positive, positive.

I would think the same thing that was done in Dnipro, Athens & Madrid. Drinking, hanging about, singing, drinking, hanging about a bit more, some more drinking, metro, bouncing, singing, some more drinking, attend a match if still able, singing, hopefully bouncing, more drinking and then home. In that case 4th would get it. Its possible that we will get an OF final this year in which case 4th would be worth a European spot.

I see the SFA 'forgot' to apply to UEFA to end the runners up in the cup going into the UEFA cup. So 4th place this season may not get a UEFA place again this season I'm not so sure the SFA are fully committed to making this happen. I suspect they are keen to promote the Scottish cup ahead of the SPL despite having said they were going to sort this out this season. What a bunch of arse (unless we get into the final )

Not sure that's what I was saying at all but you can interpret it in your own way. I think the word chasm might say something about the difference I was suggesting. I think people tend to remember the team of the 80s with a different perspective with regards to skill levels nowadays than you might have back then. I'm not suggesting there wasn't a great level of skill of course there was, more that other aspects of that teams performance was the key to its success.
