  1. So is this turning into a caption competition ? Oh you didn't all open bank accounts with UKIO Bankas as well did you ?
  2. Yes, the avoiding injury problem is a real one.
  3. Sounds like a lever on the council.
  4. In the second half we were being pulled all over the place by their midfield. Pretty much what we were doing to them for a large chunk of the first half. It's hard to see why we bother with all of these 'versatile' strikers/midfielders/defenders when they are on their arses as soon as they move slightly out of position.
  5. Looks like Preston are spending to try and dig themselves out though. I'd expect to see them crawl out of the bottom (so to speak). Inclined to agree with Drew about Hart. Keep him and possibly get the benefit of a player who is determined to leave with a bang.
  6. Should be coming to a close around the same time as Zander's then (6 months out). See you all in here for a rammy in three years ?
  7. When I started to read that post I thought 'Oh-oh, another one who is starting to take the rational view that it would be sad to see a club go down and that it wouldn't be good for Scottish football...bla bla bla'............
  8. Gay T-totaller
  9. I thought Lovell looked hungry on Saturday and keen to work at it. Only trouble was he often wanted to be doing the same stuff as Miller. He hadn't got the idea that Miller wins the ball and he picks it up from there. If he could learn to play off Miller instead of trying to fill the same role it might just work. A good performance from the pair at UTD and a few goals between them would go a long way towards setting us up nicely for the run in.
  10. With the display that 'Mare put in on saturday I'd happily forego the £100-150K we might rangle out of them just to avoid that spectacle again.
  11. Really fancying Clyde to spring those monkeys. Especially in a cold, midweek game where UTD take the square root of jack shit supporters. Levein revolution meltdown.
  12. The sale of Anderson and the Bayern money might cover next season
  13. As long as he takes responsibility for my binge drinking at the football I'm happy for him to stay
  14. Report in SOS says otherwise. Unless there are debtors out there who are calling in a debt the club can't pay then they won't go into administration. The only likely debtors in that catagory are the Hokey Cokey bank who are not likely to do so. But lets laugh anyway, its good for the soul
  15. You developing a touch of SD Al?
  16. Deja vu.
  17. I'm going to break from my gut feeling here and say that if, as was the case with Young, we add Duff as a squad player for very little financial outlay and he puts his heart into the club then I'm willing to give him the chance to prove himself. I know he is widely regarded as being horse but I haven't seen much of him first hand and I do remember him being rated before he went to UTD. I also remember UTD having an unswaying ability to sour players with the atmosphere that surrounded the club when McCall and Brewster were there. Is it possible the boys confidence is shot from his years there ? I may be clutching at straws but I'm trying very hard to keep an open mind.
  18. I hate these situations. UTD ask us to do something we should, by rights, say no to, so we do. They then get the hump and are so fucked off that they come out and play like men possessed to teach us a lesson about something that was unreasonable for them to ask in the first place.
  19. Awful display. There was one point where Moutinho was turning him inside out, again, and Zander just steamed in and took the ball away from his feet. It was almost as if Zander was saying 'if you aren't going to bother then I will sort this out'. It was an embarrassment to watch Moutinho yesterday, he was given so much space to play.
  20. eh...... That'll be a no then The first 25 mins was pretty decent with us playing very much on the front foot until Falkirk worked out how to play us and then we were on the back foot the rest of the game. Some woeful defending on the right.
  21. Few guys behind us were booing Clark when he was on the ball but we soon put them right
  22. The good news: Two papers reporting that we have made an improved offer. The bad news: The Sun and the Retard.
  23. LOL. Just got on and someone had posted to ask what had happened to the site and why it had gone down. Repsonse ? road block alert
  24. The three beers over breakfast were a signpost down a slippery track I thought. Spanish omlette or not.
  25. That might be a plan, although it's more likely to be "Duff joins Dons"
