  1. I don't believe that for a minute - why would you choose to vote for a hypothetical coalition English voters i don't honestly think really gave a fuck about the SNP - they also didn't give a fuck about Milliband being PM and this imo is why we have another 5 years of the fucking tories
  2. What absolute pish - has it ever occured to you that maybe just maybe folk voted for the SNP for their policies and for the fact they are an anti austerity party - give voters credit for voting for what they believe in A massive change swept through Scotland last night and it has fuck all to do with the tories
  3. Exactly what I was thinking - horrific if they are!!
  4. You do have a bit of a creepy look about you Tom.......................teehee
  5. Willie was my absolute hero when I first watched Aberdeen - I thought he was incredible - not a defender like him in the penalty box Canny believe he is 60 - just a bit too old for me then
  6. It's not just football that has a booze culture tho so where does it end?! I had a ladies lunch a couple of weekends ago - we had a private room with byob, no corkage charge - there were 10 of us and we each took 2 bottles - so 20 bottles between us at lunchtime!! I also fail to see the point
  7. I thought Milliband was a disgrace - I dislike him intensely, was shouting at the telly when he was on Cameron bores me to tears Clegg is much more intelligent than either of them - this time he knows he is fucked tho so he can say what he likes and his comment about both of them being deluded was absolutely correct I hope the SNP get loads of seats and Labour get 1 more seat than the Tories - then we'll see what happens to the biggest party
  8. I think I'm different to most of you guys in that I would always rather see us win a trophy than finish high up in the league (with the obvious exception of us actually winning the premiership) So for me more disappointing than last season but mostly cause I was at every cup game bar one and we played some cracking cup ties last year, also winning at Tannadice last May was a terrific night out This season unfortunately I have never managed to be at a game where the dons actually won - I have seen us lose to St Johnstone, Hamilton, Dundee, Dundee Utd, go out both cups and my only result has been a 3 all draw at Pittodie against Dundee in the league - I witnessed our incredible run in December & most of January on telly then the first game I went to we dopped points!! But to have paid off our debt and mounted a challenge to the tims is fantastic and I'm looking foward to winning some games at Tynecastle & hopefully Easter Road soon
  9. A goalie is an absolute must imo if we want to progress to a more consistant and higher level - a huge amount of discussion on here takes place round here on the form or otherwise of that position
  10. Well done Tyrant speaking some sense Remenber they have GMS and Armstrong back against Dundee and lets face it we are just as likely to drop points against Dundee Of course I hope i'm wrong and we win all their games and they lose all theirs
  11. Oot Hibs semi final on tv Ladies lunch - a dozen of us from work, byob, private room, have to take our shoes off for some reason Trying not to fall asleep on the bus home like last year Rooney
  12. Says you with a reference to Chris in your profile Actually talking of Chris, he was in my dream last night Changed days from Neale Cooper & Bryan Gunn
  13. Oops I might go too then - I do like a friendly at Easter Road
  14. Rooney for me too - he has been brilliant since he arrived
  15. Smooth It was nearly my teenage years
  16. Aw cute is that the 14th that we came into being? I started supporting the dons 35 years ago yesterday
  17. My dad is a hibee, I support Aberdeen, my oldest daughter was a mascot at the CL game between Celtic & Barcelona thanks to her dad ( she now likes the dons cause she is at uni up there) You can steer your kids in the right direction (depsite my ex having a Celtic season ticket my youngest daughter likes the dons too cause she has been to games with me and not him) But ultimately you have to let them support their own team - the nicest thing my dad ever did for me was to take me to Pittodrie as a kid when Easter Road was a bus journey away from us Good Luck

Wild Tales is hilarious - wickedly dark and very funny The road rage scene and wedding especially
  19. In / out: Out Pre matcher:Shopping Match: Walk along Portobello Prom & coffee Post matcher: Mass & Easter Eggs Prediction: The dons are bound to win since I'm not gonna be there - Rooney & Shankland & maybe Goodwillie
  20. Full strength and not making any decent use of subs isnt getting us 3 points now tho is it - we were terrible in that 2nd half against Dundee so I think the team needs freshened up
  21. I'm on the train with a coffee and some George Monbiot articles - how sophisticated missing my fellow globes and prosecco tho
  22. Talking of books & films I'm reading Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy as the film comes out in May I haven't read a great deal of classics but this one is quite enjoyable so far Canny make up my mind if I'm gonna ever get a kindle - using my daughter's for this one but think I will always prefer actual books
  23. Ooh In Train by myself reading my book (see Off Topic) then pub with Jute & NQ Away End Pub & trying to persuade above to watch the game at Murrayfield Out in Edinburgh for birthday bash and some Irish action Daniels & Rooney & McLean
