It was only a fiver - i think it will be ok now as there were tonnes of buses at Hampden yesterday
My family had a superb day out at the athletics yesterday - Hampden is fab as an athletics venue - distinct lack of scottish competitors but hopefully one legacy of these games will be to encourage youngsters into the sport
I'm booked in to the Park & Ride at Eurocentral for the evening session of the athletics on Thursday but might end up not using it if the buses don't improve
The Rugby 7s at Ibrox yesterday were superb - brilliant to witness South Africa winning the gold and the atmosphere was tremendous
Shuttle buses from Buchanan St were excellent but Scotrail a nightmare at coping with the massive load of folk needing trains back to Edinburgh
I had a fantastic day in Glasgow yesterday - beautiful sunshine and tattie scone brioche rollls
The women's hockey and rhythmic gymnastics were excellent and watching the triathlon at Glasgow Green in the shade lounging about on cushions with scottish gin was a lovely way to spend the afternoon
Got tickets for the rugby 7s on Sunday and athletics too which should be fab
The Fault in Our Stars is a lovely wee film, based on a teenage novel.
Probably not the best film to see if you've recently lost someone as it is a weepy, take your hankies
Oops Andrew I'm sorry I was just winding you up - I didn't mean that you were big, it was just a cheeky reference to the previous posts
I thought it was lovely to meet you and your pals
In
Train then some dodgy pub in Dundee
Falling asleep on train home
Think we will score but all the games have been tight against them this season so maybe a draw
Are you all still asleep - never in all my years of donstalk have I ever had to start a thread about the game. Canny be slagging the players off for looking tired when no-one gives a hoot on here
Anyway....................
Oot
Shopping
Mussie Rugby 7s
Disco - you've gotta love a bank holiday weekend
Dons to maintain unbeaten record this year against the nasty tims with Rooney to score
I wouldn't play Zola either - I didn't see the point of him coming on against ICT
I reckon we won't finish any worse than 3rd which is a tremendous achievement given where we have been over the last few seasons - the players do look tired and lacking in a bit of inventiveness as how to break teams down but hopefully McInnes can perk them up during the week and they should be out for revenge against St Johnstone next Saturday
Motherwell will most probably drop points against the rest too so if we can go into the last match with a chance of 2nd I think the team deserve our support right up to the final whistle on 11th May whatever happens
Has no-one been to the movies lately
I saw Divergent on Sunday in London - it was very expensive to get in
Great film of you are a fan of The Hunger Games - Shailene Woodley doesn't offer quite as much eye candy as Jennifer Lawrence but Theo James does for me
We need to play in red when we go there next time as there is just no passion when we play at Tynecastle in that white strip
Surprisingly enough the jambos at work were actually quite nice to me today
Agreed, lets not buy anything when we are there at all - not drinks or food and can someone arrange a big banner to let them know we are boycotting their hospitality
