I didn't cry at The Impossible either Don't fancy Zero Dark Thirty as I didn't like The Hurt Locker Going to see Les Mis again next weekend, also Lincoln and Hyde Park on Hudson in the next couple of weeks Oh and No - the Chilean film nominated as best foreign film and also Amour which is also in that category That's a lot of popcorn
  6. Yeh I would agree, it's very easy reading which suits me travelling to work in the morning. I think maybe Swedish literature is seen as cool after The Millienium Trilogy

    Andy Murray

All over the world in numerous other jobs, women get paid less than men Leave them alone, the majority of them look good on court and wear pretty dresses I couldnt watch them play 5 sets tho, too much grunting Anyhow back to the tennis - Laura Legs 11 Robson is out but Andy is through to the last 16
  8. Have any of you read Life of Pi? Saw the film recently and thinking of reading it once I finish The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed out of the Window and Disappeared and also A Storm of Swords I don't usually read two books at the same time but they're quite different

I saw The Hobbit a couple of weeks ago in Aberdeen and it was fab tho admittedly I did read the book when I was 7 so could be classed as a Hobbit/LOTR/Harry Potter nerdy geek Argo tonight was superb, was so tense throughout the whole film
  12. I totally agree - she only won one bloody gold, I thought Farrah would definitely have got more votes than Ennis
  13. I voted for him
  14. The Hobbit at Union Square on Friday night was fab, the dons however were not - thank fuck I got 3 free tickets
  15. I know you didn't - i was gonna quote your post and agree with you
  16. You are a bunch of moaning minnies - I love Twitter, saw the tweet, actually thought it was very sporting of Aberdeen as well as the other SPL clubs to congratulate the tims on their success and genuinely never gave it another thought
  17. Local radio today talking about high flying Aberdeen coming to town on Saturday
  18. I got it for my birthday and it's a briliiant read
  19. Ooh well done for taking my advice and not going to Belfast Do a bus tour and then you can take in Big Ben, Buckingham Palace etc I saw Wicked in June with my girls and it was absolutely brilliant, would definitely recommend it and Billy Elliot is next on my list If you like Harry Potter I would defo do the studio tour - it's in Watford but you can get a train there in twenty minutes from Euston and there is a shuttle bus Have fun

Have any of you seen Untouchable? It is fantastic, my favourite film of the year so far and I have been to the pics nearly every week Run to the cinema to catch it
  21. Been there and got the beer mats It poured with rain the whole weekend when I visited - I don't think there's that much to do and the bus tour is rubbish, however that was before the Titanic Experience opened Supposed it depends how much you like your girlfriend but I wouldn't be overly impressed with a weekend in Belfast as a pressie
  22. Team Europe were awesome This has been an incredible year for sport yeh
  23. Wow canny stand it - I have a sore throat from shouting I love Sky Go
  24. The only advice I can give you is.............................don't dye your hair if you have any, it is not becoming on a man I've decided that I am sticking at 44 cause it's my favourite number twice and it's even
  25. They do it for all their games - Dunfy fan at work says it's an absolute farce and no-one ever gets in on time now
