  3. I was going till I got home at 6 and realised I just couldnt be arsed - watched it on the tv and thanked my lucky stars I had changed my mind cause I couldnt have stood being at another nil nil draw!!
  4. Well find something else to do then and stop moaning

Good Vibrations for me today and a free drambuie cocktail - nice way to end my holiday week
  8. I was in London yesterday so followed the game on twitter. Lost the last 15 minutes as I was in the tube but I just knew before I checked my phone at 5pm that the dons were gonna lose that game!! If only I had put a fiver on that rather than the horse I backed in the national Anyway onwards and upwards - perfectly capable of winning our last 5 games to finish top of the bottom 6 which sets up our new manager nicely for next season and a home game on 11th May would be good It wasn't all doom and gloom yesterday - there was a shoe carnival in Selfridges
  9. My friend's son was in the dressing room that day I'm actually dreading the announcement about our next manager. Want so much to feel excited about the dons again but if it was Levein I would want to cry

Right I've now seen all those plus Django last night which was fab I thought Lincoln was very slow tho Daniel Day Lewis was superb No was bril and Amour thoroughly deserved to take the oscar for best foreign film, very poignant and quite harrowing Next for me is probably To the Wonder and The Spirit of 45
  11. Aye true, i thought the south stand was gonna collapse with the bounce when we scored against France Murrayfield is a cracking stadium and it's nice to be able to drink and the food stalls are good. I totally forgot that i had been to the french match last year when I was going on about it being my first 6 nations game - probably cause that match is a bit hazy with all the cider I drank during it
  12. Yes it was very good, only reason that I'm reading the book
  13. Oh dear god that was brutal and the pitch is a disgrace, wish I hadn't realised I could watch it on tv Hate to say this as I canny stand the manager merry go around again but Brown's peg is well and truly shoogled
  14. Ooh i didnt realise this was on tv. Will catch the 2nd half and all our goals
  15. We had a great time and result was fab. On the edge of my seat for the entire first half thinking the Irish would get a try and the end was very nervy but well done Scotland Manc, I want your ticket for the welsh game
  16. Bet you even last the whole game
  17. I've started Life of Pi and enjoying it so far
  18. I'm off to Murrayfield today for my first ever 6 nations match

I didn't cry at The Impossible either Don't fancy Zero Dark Thirty as I didn't like The Hurt Locker Going to see Les Mis again next weekend, also Lincoln and Hyde Park on Hudson in the next couple of weeks Oh and No - the Chilean film nominated as best foreign film and also Amour which is also in that category That's a lot of popcorn
  20. Yeh I would agree, it's very easy reading which suits me travelling to work in the morning. I think maybe Swedish literature is seen as cool after The Millienium Trilogy

    Andy Murray

All over the world in numerous other jobs, women get paid less than men Leave them alone, the majority of them look good on court and wear pretty dresses I couldnt watch them play 5 sets tho, too much grunting Anyhow back to the tennis - Laura Legs 11 Robson is out but Andy is through to the last 16
  22. Have any of you read Life of Pi? Saw the film recently and thinking of reading it once I finish The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed out of the Window and Disappeared and also A Storm of Swords I don't usually read two books at the same time but they're quite different

I saw The Hobbit a couple of weeks ago in Aberdeen and it was fab tho admittedly I did read the book when I was 7 so could be classed as a Hobbit/LOTR/Harry Potter nerdy geek Argo tonight was superb, was so tense throughout the whole film
