Talking of Game of Thrones - the 5th book is talking me ages and there are far too many new characters!! I have another 4 books waiting to be read and still have 500 pages to go with A Feast for Crows

I thought the film was ok but the third book is terrible and they are apparently making it into 2 films!! I saw Philomena this week - Steve Coogan & Judi Dench were both excellent and a really poignant story Gone with the Wind for me next week - have somehow managed never to see it

Apparently according to a tims fan at work, they are protesting cause they are not allowed to sing about anything Irish but it is ok to sing about Scottish heroes WTF They seem to believe it is some kind of conspiracy by the SNP So when I pointed out that the tims are a bunch of paranoid wankers who need to remember they actually play in Scotland it didn't go down too well
