Wow that was fantastic - an amazing, incredible tennis match Allan Wells in Moscow, Aberdeen Fc in Gothenburg and now Andy Murray in New York That was totally worth staying up for
  3. I only saw the white shorts for the first time on Sunday night watching the highlights and they look dreadful - it must be affecting the players Anyhow I am venturing to Pittodrie for my first game of the season in a couple of weeks and I fully expect silky soccer to be on display (maybe not goals tho just yet)
  4. I haven't seen the dons at all this season but I know why we are not scoring goals at home. What the fuck is with the white shorts
  5. Had a fantastic day at the Olympics yesterday, as well as the best ever sing song on the train home with a bunch of rugby guys who got on at Newcastle having been to the Brazil game Sitting here today with my Scotland flag crying at Andy Murray winning gold and the 2 lads getting silver and bronze in the pommel horse And the 100m still to come...........................
  6. You called us folk with tickets "olympic whores" in a previous post so I rest my case I love the gymnastics, it is fantastic to watch and I can't wait to be in the North Grenwich Arena on Saturday
  7. He is an 18 year old laddie who lost his dad - give him a break!! I met him when he was competing in the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1986 - sound guy Why the fuck are you being so negative about the bloody games, it is so so boring to read
  8. Still better than wacthing the dons then cause that's no fun with crap football
  9. True for me cause I wasn't talking about watching the dons just at Hampden, I was referring to the dons games in general that I have been to
  10. I have watched the olympics all day today - cycling was fab, loved the french winning the relay gold in the pool and even found the hockey exciting My dad's friend's grandson's girlfriend's cousin is competing in the boxing Gutted I will miss Daley competing in the diving tomorrow when I am at work - could his trunks be any more skimpy
  11. I was at Hampden yesterday for 2 ladies matches - great fun and I saw 8 goals which is more than I've seen in the last 3 seasons with Aberdeen
  12. Yeh my pal reckoned Tyrion and Jon Snow were her favourite characters, cannot wait till I can start the next book Well, you have to read books that get talked about a lot sometimes It's like Mills & Boon with a bit soft porn thrown in, apparently most ladies read it on their kindle so no-one knows. I read it on the train You fancy a bit S&M at your age Al
  13. Oh my god how good is A Game of Thrones can't wait to start the 2nd book tho I have a few to read in between I have also just read Fifty Shades of Grey which I am sure none of you guys would be interested in

True tho I haven't been as nervous with him as I usually am - canny be any worse than watching the dons lose their fifth semi final in a row!!
  15. I loved that strip
  16. I didn't bother with the synchronised swimming but I have manged to get tickets for a gymnastics trampoline final so quite excited about that

Wow Strawberries & Pimms on Sunday, what a nice way to spend the afternoon
  18. Goodie, makes it even more exciting then
  19. Does it go to extra time and penalties if required on Saturday - I thought that the semis always went to a replay? Would rather it did finish onn the day tho
  20. One of my favourite films but didn't like the book
  21. Well I haven't been to Pittodrie for nearly 2 years but I can't believe I will struggle to get a ticket if we do make it to the final No
  22. Just finished The Hunger Games trilogy - great read, can't wait to see the first film on Friday
  23. Sychronised Swimming tickets were for a test event Jonathan Edwards was brilliant
  24. Ooh I will have been supporting the dons for 32 years on the 14th April - that has got to be worth a win Don't bother trying to petition to get the kick off changed - I have a belated 40th birthday meal that afternoon so the match time suits me just fine
