  1. Right, proper stuff is back on. No idea why I’m pumped for this
  2. Aye, thought it was always in the Aberdeen section. Happy to see it resurrected though. Always worth a good laugh.
  3. Topics merged. this would be a great tinpot appointment
  4. Presume the chances of him playing a meaningful role are slim?
  5. Was painfully predictable, Al! Just like clockwork, although unusual for it to be this far in advance, they must be worried
  6. Final whistle of the Scotland game. That said, I’d heard the McGrath to dhims rumour pre season Even the BBC have done a radio show about the possibility of winning the league This game is one I just want us to have a good showing. Tims will be well up for this one (as will we but the gulf in resources should probably triumph). The games against the huns and the arabs are the ones we need to win. Of course I still want us to win mind. Into these soap dodging cunts.
  7. Thoroughly deserved…now sign the contract…
  8. That was one disjointed display, but we ground out the result which was the most important thing. As others have said, we definitely can't play like that against the tims or we will get torn a new one. Subs were very good, I was surprised we didn't see Palaversa, but I guess given Clarksons form, we can't really drop him. think it needs to be Shinnie / Palaversa and Nilsen to start next time though. We can't afford to yield the midfield. Sokler was unlucky with his headers, and we'll call it a dummy for the Palaversa goal shall we He definitely drew the players attention, so was in the right place again but just can't finish. I think that's 15 different goalscorers now though. Superb. I'd be raging if I was a hearts fan, thank fuck I'm not "Hearts, Hearts are falling apart, again"
  9. A draw would have been preferable in the killie and hibs games. They misread the guidelines of being in the former dons legend elite club. Admission refused.
  10. With the game being a sell out for both home and away supports, this absolutely has me nervous. Please don’t fuck it up!
  11. Appreciate your sacrifice
  12. Home game against the arabs now moved to 530 on sat, 26th October. Reasonable time for me and reekie
  13. Gutted for the lad, and hope he has a speedy recovery. Aligned with what Orlando said, he’s been a bonus this season, and I’d rather have him an option than not. Still, an opportunity for the team to get the passing game nailed now as it didn’t really work with him in the team. Surely Sokler tries to step up now? Surely?
  14. Why didn’t Celtic just try harder?
  15. Hearts should hopefully be broken after their trip to Azerbaijan. It’s the one time I’m glad they play in Europe a few plane break downs and delays wouldn’t go amiss. Ideally they don’t get a new manager bounce either, albeit an interim one. interested to see if we see all three of palaversa, Nilsen and Shinnie in mid for this one. Setting us up for some of the bigger games coming up? Gueye being out for a min of 4 weeks probably makes some of the decisions easier, providing the answer isn’t Ambrose. Don’t want to make him the token boo boy but he needs to go out on loan. home team usually wins these fixtures, but this does have the air of banana skin over it, purely because we’re on a good run. Intrigued to see how he sets us up against the biggest team he’s faced so far. out bed bed work 2-1 dons, McGrath and ruby
  16. Wild that him, Richardson and I forget the other guy have all gone to non league teams.
  17. You are of course right, I’d forgotten about that, but my point was more in relation to the Scottish game.
  18. Absolutely, will learn a non Scottish perspective which can only be helpful going forward. Will be very sad to see him go, but also cutting your teeth in the prem is a tough ask. A championship team would probably be more forgiving. Wait a year and they’ll be there anyway
  19. Superb just watching it back, two very tidy finishes, fans sound in great voice. Wonder when JT stops the Ambrose time? Needs a Norwegian loan.
  20. The halcyon days
  21. Bloody hell Bearsden! As Al says, hope things are beginning to look up for you. Good to see you back! Reekie, bobby is pretty active on Twitter these days, he was also on the ABZ a while back. Think he’s in Brussels?
  22. aye, NZ is a fair old trek, but definitely worth a visit. Queenstown is pretty impressive landscape wise, probably better in the winter but still great in the summer. Switches from snow to mountain biking etc. Lots of Reekie's fellow residents use it as their second home! In-laws have a new house out in the middle of nowhere. Next to one of Foley's vinyards, which I was tempted to sabotage in the name of the nix But aye, cracking wines out that way and only an hour away. Love it!
  23. Disagree, but maybe that's an age thing. I love it (old badge new Adidas). One of my recent fave home shirts had the badge (saltire I think it was).
  24. Not sure we can really drop Palaversa? He's played really well the last couple of games. It's a great headache for the club to have. We've actually got a very strong midfield, albeit wingers could be improved a bit. I'm really interested to see how we line up for this one. Out Sleeping hopefully sleeping Heading to the Wairarapa all being well 2-2, Nisbet and Palaversa
