  1. Don't really follow yank politics, mainly because it's a hateful country and I try to avoid too many things that anger me. What is the deal with the midterm elections? If the democrats get the house of representatives, how much influence does it really wield?
  2. What are the new songs we seem to be singing, in particular re: ferguson?
  3. Quite a few in the U-21's as well no? It's funny that Magoo and Timmy strachan leave and suddenly we see dons players getting called up. It's also funny that Shinnie et al aren't even playing their best football at the moment. As you say, good news for them and the club
  4. don't think it's controversial at all, he was on his day, one of the best goal scorers in the league. His antics are a bit OTT these days and whilst it is still banter, the stuff he says in the press is very hunnish. He doesn't need to do that to make a name for himself. Look at Stewart. The time of being hunnish in the press is dying, just the scottish press don't know it yet.
  5. Hoping there is a good crowd for this one. I personally love Friday night football, even more so now as I can watch it whilst having my breakfast Not sure where the big scores are coming from, hibs aren't in great form at the moment, but we're not creating let alone scoring lots so expect it to be a tight game. From memory, Consi had a stinker against them last time around so I don't want to see Lowe dropped. It would be ludicrous and no reason for it. Keep him as a sub if we need him. Oot Bed sofa Probably sofa given the weather forecast 2-1 Dons, McGinn and Anderson
  6. Enjoyed this, thanks for the tip!
  7. You'd hope not, especially being the home side. I actually think we need to accept that our strikers aren't our main problem. As you say, we're being dominated in midfield which is preventing us from doing anything. Our service from the wings is pretty woeful too. That's not to say our strikers are up to standard, but it's not all their fault.
  8. Hearts pumped by the tims today, they seem to be finding their form now. I was hoping they'd wait until after the cup final.
  9. Agreed tlg. It's nice to see a player who has no previous association to the club be so passionate. Whilst he's not the best player at all times, he gives it his all and wears his heart on his sleeve. Plus hates the two cheeks. Love that. I'm guessing the GFA didn't take any further action on this? Some mate, typical hunnish behaviour, sharing it on snapchat (or insta).
  10. For those who're going to make a last min call, looks like there should be cash turnstiles according to the Killie website From a purely selfish perspective, I hope we have as many late kick offs as possible in future. These midday and 3PM's are shite for my viewing. Pleased to see the Dundee game move so I can watch on route to the UK at Auckland airport.
  11. According to a killie mate, they've not actually been playing very well and have a tendancy to concede goals early doors before sorting it out in the second. So it sounds like playing more conservatively is actually playing into their hands. I agree. Keep the same XI from Hamilton. There is literally no reason not to.
  12. That changes everything then. We should win this one.
  13. Huge game for us now. I think given their form, or rather the form of Stewart, i'd probably take a draw, although that doesn't really help us. Hopefully we've now found a starting XI that suits us and we can get the 3 points. In/Out: Out Prematch: Westpac stadium Match: Bed Postmatch: Bed Prediction: 1-0, GMS
  14. It's also very much unlike McInnes. If he's paid a fee for someone, he'll usually, by hell or high water, find a place for them in the team. I mean, look at May? I find the whole things very bizarre and hopefully one of the options you mentioned KFP (being given time) is how it pans out. That said, as I said in the other thread, I wouldn't be bothered if we never saw him or Gleeson again.
  15. I'd say so. Some of the play was brilliant, think Wright probably should have done a bit better with a couple of his chances but that's nitpicking.
  16. Beat me to it. Exactly what I thought, was very pleased to see McLennan and Anderson come on. Couldn't care less if we don't see Forrester or Gleeson again.
  17. Haha true, I was thinking that. Consider it done. Strikers: Cosgrove - 11 McLennan - 2 Anderson - 2 May - 3 Wilson - 3 Midfielders: MacKay-Steven - 6 McGinn - 2 Ferguson - 6 Shinnie - 2 Defenders: Considine - 2 Lowe - 2 Hoban - 1 Devlin - 1 McKenna -1 O.g. 1
  18. Not quite as good as McKenna's but impressive nonetheless!
  19. Edit: RedTV confirmed was just over 12k Wilsons goal was a peach
  20. Definitely not at the game, but have RedTV Intl
  21. Good goal from Shinnie for the opener, although accies have hit the woodwork too
  22. Happy enough with that line up, good to see the same team getting a start for two games (less consi)
  23. https://streamable.com/yy449 What a Don
  24. I'd be amazed if there was a clamour for more than 20k. Doesn't impact me mind. Sure all those wanting will get one
  25. So no 50/50 split then? Probably about the right figure mind
