  1. Rico, I was referring more to his preference. He’s really not that good (despite 5 performances post split), not sure he’s in a position to prefer one over the other. He’s completely after the money, possibly realising how much he can make despite turning out average performances. League one is definitely his level.
  2. The funniest bit of that article is where he states he’s open to English league one but would prefer the championship
  3. Have yet to see anything of note from May so i'm very much out on his positive contributions. Games i've seen the game seems to pass him by But as I said, the service was awful last season so a bit of service and then i'll judge him. Seems unfair to do so just yet.
  4. That’s why I think the midfield is the most important aspect of the rebuild. We need to find players that will get the best out of what we have. Then get a couple of defenders in to give us a bit of cover. Only then would I look at the top. No denying that missing out on moult cost us Europe, we’ve done that to death and we all agree on that point. We didn’t really have a strike force then. Ideally we’d have strikers that are going to perform in all games, but I don’t think we can afford to give rooney up unless we’ve got a proven replacement. The goal stats need to be improved but our service was diabolical this season.
  5. Hmm, I'd hope we're actually putting our resources into midfield and then defence. We have the strikers that with the right type of service, can thrive. It's just getting that service. Shame Scott Wright never went out on loan in Jan. Oh well.
  6. Quite a shrewd appointment imo. I always liked him at city.

    World Cup

Yeah, i'll be intrigued. I suppose since it's in Europe, most of them will be on early doors? I know the Welsh bar and the bar beneath my office show champions league games live. Odd seeing pubs full of non drinkers at 7:30 am! I think most nightclubs have to close by 3am now On a separate note, but WC related: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/may/22/rival-captains-make-case-to-fifa-for-paolo-guerreros-world-cup-inclusion?CMP=twt_gu Given that coca tea is quite readily available in Peru, I don't find this hard to believe, but whether it was actually from Cocaine or coca tea, i'm not sure. would have thought the toxicology levels must be fairly different. I know from chewing coca leaves certainly made your mouth numb and obviously a burst of energy, but i'd imagine theres a fair bit more concentration in cocaine. Shame for him to miss it anyway.

    World Cup

Last one was good, primarily for being in Vegas for some of it. What a blast that was! But by the end of it I found it tiring. There was too much football on. Same went for the euros. I probably watched the least amount of games I ever had. Have my issues with the next two world cups but I’m sure I’ll crack and watch the Russian one. It’s going to be a reasonably open one I reckon. The South American sides aren’t all that and neither are the Europeans. I’m sure the Germans will win it. They’ve always wanted to make it to Moscow
  9. Wonder if Hamilton are going to go back to grass or the grass master surface?
  10. Excellent, need a new show, really enjoyed deep state. Will check out toms recommendation too
  11. Thoroughly enjoying it, you’ll smash it. Nearly done myself. The only annoyance is I’m guessing we’ll have to wait another year for the final one!
  12. Tickets for courtney Barnett in August
  13. Shame, I really wanted Motherwell to win. I know it was worse for us but Scottish football media is gonna be hell for the first few months. Gerard this and now this double treble pish. Thank fuck I’m far enough away. Let’s hope real keep their side of the deal next weekend to ensure the last team they lost to in a European final was us especially given how many bin dippers there appear to be here. Would love to see their smug faces ruined.
  14. I understood we tried to get him on a pre contract in January but it just didn’t happen. Guessing he wanted to wait until the end of the season to see where the land lay.
  15. Didn’t realise it was still an option. Surprised if we got him, financially we wouldn’t be able to compete but he’s the right caliber of player
  16. Remember seeing that in the shops DD, think there was also a dodgy named shop in one of those shopping centres in the city centre. Ah Budapest.

    Films

Brilliant film and thoroughly dark. The series wasn’t bad either. Watched American Folk tonight, well shot and a good story. Not a thought provoker but a nice watch nonetheless. Ask me food comical moments despite being part of a sad story.
  18. No way, he was shite for hibs.
  19. Darren Moore staying at west brom so that’ll end any dm speculation there for at least until October.
  20. Seems like he’s gone one further and deleted his account. Given the amount of people copied in, namely Logan and record sport I’d hope he gets brought in by the piggery.
  21. Absolutely. He was shite. He was shite at being physical because he always got carded. I mind being at ibrox last season (when we won) and him coming on as a sub. You could just tell he was going to get sent off even before he came on. That’s a pointless player to have on your books. A couple of good goals aside. He was also shite in the air and not great with his feet. Delighted he fucked off.
  22. Who wouldn’t want to go to the former petrofac cup winners?
  23. Allardyce I'll give you, but Moyes, no. You're talking about the past here. Everton and Preston were a long, long time ago. I probably should have qualified that by just saying a corrupt twat and a bang average manager when describing them both.
  24. Would love both Korea’s to turn around and tell the yanks to fuck off.
  25. I’d say McInnes is above average for the spfl but tactically naive or rather too cautious against the bigger sides. You can say he maybe he didn’t have faith in his team this season, but he’s played the same tactics against the bigger teams ever since Rodgers came onto the scene. That season was when we started playing negative pish against the tims, then the Huns the following season. He really needs to play to players strengths though, that’s been my biggest criticism of him.
