Horrible news Surgery went well by the sounds of it. He’s a fighter, that’s for sure. -
Literally no reason to go to Paisley now

I see fat sally is in the press saying it's put Scottish football back on the map -
But what if, what if it isn't cheap shite? What if it's actually a decent stadium?

Minijc on twitter said that the last game we won at home in May was against hibs in 2009. Is this true Time to right that wrong!

Sorry, read this last night but didn't have a chance to reply. I know you know I wasn't aiming at anyone here as we've generally had some good debate on this board and it's raised plenty of valid questions. You are only playing devils advocate and I appreciate that. My argument is with others elsewhere and with the fact that someone in the profession has taken their time, more importantly a fan, to draw up and test the site should be enough evidence alone. Especially given that they've got no contractual link to the club. Not someone who has sketchup and thinks they can adapt / copy a stadium from elsewhere in the world (as some of the examples I've seen). I know that some football crowds aren't known for their intelligence but fuck me, it's actually been drawn out to standards. Having had him labelled as unimaginative by some folk was ridiculous. We all know footprint of the site at Pittodrie is what is limiting. We've missed opportunities over the years. The road can definitely be moved, it would take time and some houses would need to be bought up and I'd imagine that these are all unknowns for the club to deal with. business never likes these, let alone when they're trying to build something. Don't really think the club owe the council anything regarding the Pittodrie site. I don't doubt that the club have probably never wanted to stay, probably because they knew they'd get a better deal in terms of land availability and size. The argument that they've let this happen to Pittodrie is probably partly true, I say partly because refurbishing isn't cheap either and we've been skint for so long so it's not like we had the opportunity to do it before. Unfortunately we are where we are, and something needs to be done far sooner rather than later. We can all disagree with the strategy they have adopted but christ, if we really feel that strongly about it, protest about it rather than moan on their facebook posts or twitter. Do something about it. The infrastructure will come along with the development, the motorway is being built. It's far from an ideal inner city location, it's a shite one I definitely agree, but it will be easier for some to get to. I'd way prefer to have a train station nearby as I hate the idea of having to rely on buses but we've little choice at the moment. I have no doubt that businesses will open up around the area to cater to fans needs. People adapt, they always do. I don't expect to convince people, it's not my job to and I believe the battle lines have been drawn. This is far from my ideal scenario. I think Tom put it quite succinctly, we have to do something, nothing is not an option. It is impossible to please everyone, let alone Aberdeen fans. Tom / Baggy, you're right, it was darlo I was thinking of, knew it was a shite north east English town

Absolutely shite from the club, although the bit about having to clean up after themselves? What a daft thing to moan about, of course you should do that?!? I’d have thought that Afc would let them use their refuse storage though, seems very Scrooge like. There has to be more to this. What the hell is the “fan rep” and the dst actually doing Sad state of affairs, our displays are always pretty good and the club even ends up using it in their promotional material Anyway back on topic. COYR into these hibbie bastards

That’s it, it was Darlington not Hartlepool I get the point that some are saying he’s (SM) has allowed this situation to happen, but I can’t help but feel that they’re ignoring the fact that we had no fucking money up until recently. Even then, we don’t have any money, not really. All well and good saying we should have maintained pittodrie etc but the costs would have spiraled. I hate the location of the new stadium, but as you say tom, something needs to happen. The morons on twitter and another rival board need to accept you can’t just build whatever you want.. There are reasons for regulations. Unfortunately there are some that refuse to listen despite all the evidence being put in front of them. Fans are what make a stadium, not where it is, not what it is but our support is split. whatever happens they need to get behind it. Given the home support is shite, I doubt it’ll happen. God forbid something nice getting built in Aberdeen

Really should be looking to have a sell out at this one. I know folk are disappointed that the seasons has petered out into a bit of nothingness, but there's still a decent wedge of cash available. Would be nice to finish the season strongly. Agreed, nothing against the hibbies. Good bunch of fans
-
Hartlepool united as well no? Or one of those teams down that way built a stadium that they could never fill. Believe that was before the crazy sky money came in?
-
True, however I would argue that it's a typical unnecessary signing (if it does indeed happen). We don't need him, he's been shite ever since his goal against Barca. That's a long time ago now, youth isn't on his side and he's most likely a bam. Fuck him. It would be a waste of a wage, similar to that Callum Morris fud we signed who was injured the whole time. Or Maynard. would be surprised to see Shankland at Hearts, I can't say I was ever overly impressed with him when he did get into the first team.

Been training with us for a few months no? Anyway, seems to be a lot of chatter about him being unveiled today

He’s a scouser, he has no sense. Hopefully it doesn’t mean they get their act together for the last three games -
Obviously it's far too early to tell, especially given it was his first start since he got sent off against the dhimmery, but I was very impressed with his overall game. He seemed to offer something we haven't had in a long time, someone capable of holding the ball up without committing fouls. Had a heavy hand in both goals (i'd argue that his role in the second was equal to that of KM). What is the length of the deal we signed him up on? Anyway, promising start, so keep it up please. We've needed someone to stand up and offer something different up front.

Saw the new Avengers film on the weekend. Loved it. A lot of laugh out loud moments. Obviously not deep or meaningful, beyond the point that the world needs saving and folk need to come together, but a great film nonetheless.

Don't think anyone can claim you're anything but a loyal supporter SeeBass! Hope you manage to get the support you need and deserve

Graham Spiers seems to be crying into his sash over the hilarity his new club are being viewed in by the English press. -

I really hope McInnes doesn’t bottleour fixture with them. Absolutely nothing to fear from this joke of a new club. -
Feel for West Brom fans, must be wondering why they didn't appoint Darren Moore earlier.
-
Ffs, was hoping inter would make it interesting

I'd be really disappointed if there isn't a big crowd given the amount folk moan about the lack of 3pm kick offs . Ignoring the fact that it's an incredibly important game. I imagine he'll put consie at left back and bring shinnie back into mid alongside Ball. In principle it would be quite logical move, just can't see Campbell being given a shot in the first team. It's frustrating that McLean is really showing the kind of player he is. We really are going to miss him next season, let alone in this game.

A ballboy chucked the ball at him and he reacted like a fanny was brilliant viewing https://twitter.com/HtfcFrontline/status/989966419172487170/video/1
