Cool, will add it on to the list
  3. Killie beat saints 2-0. Saints highly unlikely to make the top six and Killie move into fifth above Hearts. Boyd scores another pen... Please can everyone stop thinking Wright is a good manager! Thanks
  4. Agreed, we either start Rooney up top or have May playing behind him. Can’t recall who it was but didn’t someone say that was Mays best position? Just behind the striker and was where he had all his success at the saints? Will take any kind of victory. Out Bed Bed Bed 1-0 dons, McLean
  5. Haha it’s the same every time. One step at a time though
  6. Superb news and the least he deserves. Hopefully he does stick around a wee while and doesn't do a zander!
  7. Absolutely, was that the time of the commonwealth games? Was that why it was played there? I saw Jim Delahun was living up to his name yesterday by saying it should be at Hampdump because the teams like their day out in Glasgow
  8. Haha that's not what I meant. I'd still say they'd have to have a link but to say they have to be born and bred Scottish is lunacy. The world doesn't work like that.

Has anyone seen Death of Stalin? Worth a watch?
  10. My tuppence worth and tin hat well and truly on. Personally I couldn't give a shit where they're from. Living in the "they must be born in Scotland" frame of mind is frankly incredibly outdated an probably borderline racist. The worlds population is a transient one and I think it's somewhat narrow minded to think that someone has to be born in a place to "be" from that place. Probably because I was born abroad to international parents, I've never understood this view. If they've got Scottish relatives and want to play for the country (on the basis they're good enough) then why the hell not? Move with the times guys, yay for inclusiveness Besides, i'm sick of seeing the same failing dour huntim faces turn up for the national team, widen the net so they're not tarnished with that shite.

Watched two films on the weekend, one of which was very much for the mrs...I'll let you guess which 1) Pitch Perfect 3...not my film at all but a few funny moments 2) Three Billboards...Excellent film, dark humour and actually quite sad. Enjoyable nonetheless. I imagine it'll pick up a few awards tonight.
  12. Motherwell to play the winner of the tie, with the Glasgow cheeks facing each other. If ever there was an opportunity , this was it. Sort this fucking mess out McInnes, it’s not that difficult.
  13. Cheers Elgin, we’re still to do the South Island properly so will add them to the list. Next one is the tongariro crossing which we’ve attempted twice but the weather was too bad so had to postpone. Think tom widdows has done that one. Nothing planned yet, Rocket. Getting married first and then see what happens. Would like the world to chill out a wee bit and things to settle down in the UK before considering coming back.
  14. Disappointing doesn’t really cover it, but at least we’re still in the draw. When is the replay?
  15. Done a couple of walks of late, nothing too long due to other plans, but there are plenty to do in and around Wellington. First one was out from Makara, which had a couple of old gun positions from the second world war. Cracking hour long walk from the beach up, we decide to jog down which seemed easier due to the loose gravel. Second one was closer to our house, a quick walk up Mt Kaukau which gives you a fantastic vista over the city. WAs just a shame that the weather clouded over a wee bit when we got to the top. It's part of the wider Northern walkway which covers a fair chunk of the cities surrounding areas, including towards the back of our house. Will need to do the full one soon before winter comes.
  16. Wide variety tonight; Panhead Pilsner Parrot dog Pilsner 8 Wired Hippy Berliner Sour Hoppy Ale The latter being very sour but tasty
  17. Ah cheers bobby! Seemed odd to me
  18. Good luck to those going, I hear killie are in the upper rds as the souther is closed and bringing 1500??? Boost that Mulumbu is out
  19. Thought the weather in Aberdeen was fine? Team need to get last few weekends results out of their system. Hopefully we have enough bottle to see killie out, despite their good form. Thank fuck we have shinnie, hopefully he’ll be well rested. Will take any win. Club needs some positivity. Out Bed Bed Bed 2-1 dons, Rooney and shinnie

So is it that bad over there? This amuses me, someone building an igloo in George Square
  21. I guess my concern is if we give him another summer, do I trust him to make the right signings? My answer is no, we'll get padded out with absolute horseshite like Maynard. There are positions he hasn't addressed for seasons, which was fine when the league didn't have teams like Hearts, Hibs and Hunco. Now they're back these failings are being exploited. The short term-ism with the loans is also concerning. Then the flip side is that as someone else said, I don't want to get into the habit of having a managerial merry go round again. It didn't work then and it won't now. But do we trust the board to make the right choice? Hopefully with new blood and influence we might have a better chance. The overriding concern is that it feels like we're going backwards and I haven't the faith in him to arrest the situation. Resignation would be the only option, otherwise, make sure if he's identified someone of real quality, the board cannot fuck about like they did with Moult. Rico is right, that is a signing that probably would have changed how the season would have panned out. I think that's what hurts the most, we can pretty much see what could have been.
  22. Appreciate that this is a fairly negative thread to start, but I didn't want it to spill into the Match Threads. For me, the answer is yes, I think it's the culmination of the defeats, the manor of them and the fact that we have never learned from any of the mistakes. The cup final was clearly a brain fart from DM because it's the only time we've played the right way against them and surprise surprise, it nearly worked. As someone else mentioned in the motherwell thread, it was almost accepted by most that Celtic were having a great season, although again, a lot on here were pissed off we didn't try anything against them. The frustration has also boiled over in that it's not just septic we're losing to now, it's the hunco, Hivs etc...and we've now lost second place despite originally having a sizable lead over the hun, probably for the season. A pattern has formed and it's clear that DM hasn't the intelligence to reverse it. Thoughts? Is there a way back for him? I'd say only a SC win will do anything to change most people's minds. And even then, we shouldn't forget what's gone before.
  23. Difficult to disagree with anything that ran McManus has said here: https://twitter.com/hssport/status/968044212615897090 Shame dm never realised this himself.
  24. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised to wake up to this scoreline. Not as bad as I suspected. Sounds like the tims were incredibly surprised we sat off them again. Time to go DM , you’re never going to learn
  25. Here’s hoping you’re right
