Watched that on Sunday, what a glorious watch. It was all before my time but really did give a good insight, and a meaningful one, into the mentality of the club and team at that time. And I hope it goes a long way to mending McGhees relationship with the dons fans. No angst, just honest and happily reminiscent. Well done, BBC. Fantastic stuff.

Probably the most important game of the season. Win, 3rd is guaranteed, lose, and it’s squeaky bum time, despite being in the driving seat. A draw wouldn’t be the end of the world as avoiding a loss is absolutely paramount. Our record there isn’t great, so I would take a draw straight away. Obviously our last result there was finally the beginning of the end for Goodwin, hopefully it’s not a freakish repeat. Can’t really see it given our defence has improved. Is McCrorie back for this? Can’t have Richardson at RB. With the news that’s Duk is potentially out for the rest of the season (it certainly explains his performances over the last 3 games), the question is, who goes up top with miovski? I’d like to think it should be Watkins, but I have the fear that it’s going to be Morris. I was amazed to see how many people are trying to give morris the benefit of the doubt and any shade is harsh on him. Are they watching the same player as me? Anyway, midfield will be critical, not having shinnie for this one is a pain but hopefully the midfield shake off whatever was their issue against hibs. Can’t perform like that again. out bed bed not sure, weather dependent 2-0 hearts, no dons scorer

What is it with us and failing for big crowds? Doesn’t matter who it is, it’s like clockwork.
-
Ah well, given the season we’ve had, didn’t expect to be in it as long as I was!
-
Sure there’s something happening pre game?
-
Not in any way having a go at him, just don’t think he’s been as effective the last couple of games. It’s more a point about that he’s going to be a bit inconsistent as he’s still a raw talent. As I said, the only possible change I’d make, I’d be happy enough if it was unchanged. He’s set himself a very high bar in terms of performances.

I haven’t seen any comms on this and tlg’s comment in the match thread reminded me. Do we think we’ll see McCrorie in red again? Find it odd that they’d be doing this “op” now given we haven’t got 3rd secured. Would it be player or club pushing this?

Not many tickets left for this one apparently, so hopefully be close if not a complete sell out. They usually bring some fans along, but maybe the possibility of finishing above hearts will spur a few more. They’ll be buoyed by their win against saints but hopefully the boys realise what’s at stake. I’m sure Robson will have them fired up for this one. Our record against them at home is decent and enough, and we’ll put the last game between us as a Goodwin result. Not sure I’d make many if any changes for this one. Maybe duk just to give him a kick up the arse to take these chances he’s getting? He’s still raw and we’re seeing that over the last couple of games but feels like he’s been a little off the boil. out bed bed morning dad duty 1-0 Dons, clarkson

Horrible nazi bastards.

Not that I want to wish well for them, but we live in hope that that’s the case. I want us to secure 3rd as soon as possible.

What was the deal here? I saw the headlines but didn’t ever follow up

I've just started that one myself, after it was recommended by "The Rest is Politics" - which itself is very good. Also take in Scottish football podcast, when it may have a dons slant, as well as Guardian football weekly.

I see Wright is apparently being punted this transfer window. Big LOL if that happens. Slimy prick. -
Just no, I'm still sticking with the fact he is at his peak now and won't replicate the form.
-
Agreed, thought he did much better in the second compared to other performances, and he clearly hates them. I'm not overly fussed if we don't see Barron again (if he doesn't sign) but yeah, you're right about the non-compatibility with Clarkson, so it's a no brainer. It is hilarious how the press are so predictable in their pre-match coverage. We're shite, it's classic Durrant I was robbed, we're good, x,y,z is linked with us. That said, whilst I don't think we'll get Clarkson next season, I'd hate to see him go to either of those clubs. Not sure the Dhims would need him tbh.

Latest series of Sweet Tooth on Netflix. Good watch so far

Our second cup final in two weeks, what a roller coaster anyway, they’ll be raging and possibly pretty despondent post realising they’re ending the season with the same amount of trophies as us. But regardless, being at snake mountain is a hard enough task in a normal scenario, let alone when we’ve slayed them recently. id look to keep the same team providing we haven’t had any major injuries over the Scottish cup break. Do we swap Barron in for Duncan? Possibly the only change. Still undecided on the latter but he’s a red and gets it. Providing we win our two home games, I’m not overly fussed about this, but I’d rather we got something from this to cement the ginger fear in the huns. out bed bed Work, fuck just realised this’ll be Monday morning 1-1, duk

Caught the second half last night after everything everyone had said about the first. Some excellent play and the determination from the team and the fans alike was incredible. Pittodrie well and truly had its singing voice back for this one. that ball from Clarkson, an absolute peach and the finish was more than worthy of it. Just a shame Watkins and even Duncan couldn’t finish it off. Really don’t know what to make of the latter, hopefully he finds a place in the team, but I’d imagine he drops out when shinnie returns. The seethe from their fans post match has been joyous to read. Even one of my hun mates who barely rises to anything was fuming. Excellent.

We'd be daft not to go for it tbh. He's probably peaked in terms of performance for us.
-
Superb start to his full time managerial career. First team to have 5 consecutive clean sheets in the league. Kudos. That’s some turnaround.
-
Lets do this!

I wish this game was today. Getting quietly (and probably stupidly) excited. Would be happy with a draw but fuck it, we’re at home and haven’t beaten them there since that maddy free kick. Which is pathetic in itself, so we need to get that sorted. out bed bed work 2-1 dons, miovski and hayes

Think this is what I remember hearing. Never made it to the Reebok but transport and the sole pub was not exactly enticing.
