  1. Why didn’t Celtic just try harder?
  2. Hearts should hopefully be broken after their trip to Azerbaijan. It’s the one time I’m glad they play in Europe a few plane break downs and delays wouldn’t go amiss. Ideally they don’t get a new manager bounce either, albeit an interim one. interested to see if we see all three of palaversa, Nilsen and Shinnie in mid for this one. Setting us up for some of the bigger games coming up? Gueye being out for a min of 4 weeks probably makes some of the decisions easier, providing the answer isn’t Ambrose. Don’t want to make him the token boo boy but he needs to go out on loan. home team usually wins these fixtures, but this does have the air of banana skin over it, purely because we’re on a good run. Intrigued to see how he sets us up against the biggest team he’s faced so far. out bed bed work 2-1 dons, McGrath and ruby
  3. Wild that him, Richardson and I forget the other guy have all gone to non league teams.
  4. You are of course right, I’d forgotten about that, but my point was more in relation to the Scottish game.
  5. Absolutely, will learn a non Scottish perspective which can only be helpful going forward. Will be very sad to see him go, but also cutting your teeth in the prem is a tough ask. A championship team would probably be more forgiving. Wait a year and they’ll be there anyway
  6. Superb just watching it back, two very tidy finishes, fans sound in great voice. Wonder when JT stops the Ambrose time? Needs a Norwegian loan.
  7. The halcyon days
  8. Bloody hell Bearsden! As Al says, hope things are beginning to look up for you. Good to see you back! Reekie, bobby is pretty active on Twitter these days, he was also on the ABZ a while back. Think he’s in Brussels?
  9. aye, NZ is a fair old trek, but definitely worth a visit. Queenstown is pretty impressive landscape wise, probably better in the winter but still great in the summer. Switches from snow to mountain biking etc. Lots of Reekie's fellow residents use it as their second home! In-laws have a new house out in the middle of nowhere. Next to one of Foley's vinyards, which I was tempted to sabotage in the name of the nix But aye, cracking wines out that way and only an hour away. Love it!
  10. Disagree, but maybe that's an age thing. I love it (old badge new Adidas). One of my recent fave home shirts had the badge (saltire I think it was).
  11. Not sure we can really drop Palaversa? He's played really well the last couple of games. It's a great headache for the club to have. We've actually got a very strong midfield, albeit wingers could be improved a bit. I'm really interested to see how we line up for this one. Out Sleeping hopefully sleeping Heading to the Wairarapa all being well 2-2, Nisbet and Palaversa
  12. Have pinned this
  13. A surprisingly good kick off time. Should be a fairly boozed crowd . Guessing the prices will be fairly horrendous though.
  14. @BigAl was certain we had a let’s all laugh at hearts thread for this very thing. Took me down memory lane
  15. I’m annoyed we don’t play them until early October. Not convinced he’s going to be able to stick it out. Still, he didn’t lose by the predicted result (previous managers had lost 1-0 and 2-0 to saints before getting respectively emptied).
  16. How long do they take to upload the full games now? Used to be pretty much as soon as the game finished?
  17. Was thinking, is it not actually an OG? Seems to be going away from goal until it hits the keeper ? still, as a professional performance as we could possible want, 4-0 and its onto the semi. Couldn’t ask for much more
  18. Also think it’s doing seve a bit of a disservice
  19. I see city drew 0-0 against inter. That will have the natives restless. have to say, that draw for the Tims is as good as they could have hoped for. As good as our league fixtures tbh.
  20. Had my wisdom teeth out so in my newfound (lack of) wisdom, plumped up for redtv and watched the game back. He bloody impressed me, good bit of aggression but controlled. Can see there’s a player in there and excited to see what else he can do. Think it was OD in the match thread who said it would be good to see him alongside Shinnie, which I agree with, seeing the three of them interchangeable would be a useful thing to have.
  21. Aye, was pretty much why I’d discounted it. Maybe naively but I don’t think he’ll be interested in that job. Hes got much to learn, from a foreign manager too, which doesn’t come up very often.
  22. Believe the Firece beer bar on Union street also gives discounts on match days
  23. Return of Neil Lennon to the spfl then given he’s out of work? Wonder which manager PLZ soccer and the bbc demand they go for
  24. So what were people’s thoughts on him from the weekend? Glimpses of why city paid €7m for him early on?
