  1. Decent haul in the end although the defence could have chipped in with a few more. Given how Duks season went, I’m surprised he even got 7, but it’ll be interesting to see how the forward line up looks next season. Fingers crossed sokler can pick up where Miovski inevitably has left off.
  2. Thank fuck that’s the season done with. I saw some mad stat that sokler hadn’t scored in the same comp all season?
  3. Whilst it's put him under a wee bit of pressure, we still needed to remain in the division. I'm glad we've had the opportunity for some of the players to flourish at the end of a miserable season. Watching the nix this season sounds very similar to how Thelin will play. Allow the opposition plenty of possession and low percentage shots, draw them in and smash them on the counter. Not sure if we have the defenders to play the ball out from the back, but I am really intrigued to see how this pans out. I hope he doesn't throw everything out, because we've clearly found something that works. Maybe this is the style we play against the lesser teams and adopt his traditional style for the like's of the cheeks (weegie and edinburgh).

    VAR

I did enjoy that it was at the end of the end var flag on the merkland last night. That’s the only thing. VAR is horrendous in Scotland, get it in the bin.
  5. You’d like to hope that he’s seen what fergie for example has done and found a pathway. I’d like to see how he develops over time, but an exciting prospect that’s actually delivered. I remember folk screaming about lanky shankland saying how good he was, but he never ever took his chances. Kudos to fletcher, already done it. enjoyed the highlights, the team really seem to be playing with some freedom (I know it’s livi and it took conceding to do it). Nice pre season anyway, hopefully they carry it on into the next. Was a bit cut up seeing Hayes sat on the ball after the game. What a guy.
  6. What a result. Quality finishes and chuffed for Boyd. Truly an impressive result, were hibs tired / not arsed? Great to see the whole team pushing for next season, so hopefully has given the new management team a glimpse of what they could do. Hoilett for another season please. Hasn't set a foot wrong imo and the only positive thing that Warnock did for us (apart from leaving).
  7. Seems odd. We're not fucking lodge members or something.
  8. Stuff of dreams. in all seriousness, superb result for the young team must have inspired them
  9. Many planning on going? Or is everyone just relieved we’re done?
  10. Almost two years ago to the day was the last time we got a result at Easter Road. Been a coupe of horrendous games since then and we've not actually beaten them since that same season. Hibs managed to hibs it in true hibs fashion and ended up bottom six when they should have been in the top half. Would like to try and finish the season on a high, so ideally we put them to the sword but i'm not really sure that's going to happen. I've not actually watched us in the last few weeks, so i've no idea how we're playing (apart from not being able to be relegated). Doesn't sound like we're playing badly, but not great at the same time. Out Bed Bed Doing mothers' day stuff with the wife. 1-1, Miovski
  11. Another aliga player heading over to Scotland. Reasonable player but i've not watched much of Perth this season. They've been very up and down (mainly the latter) this season.
  12. Aye, left on the horizon, although it does actually stretch further to the right, but most of that is low lying so not really visible. in laws are selling off what was their forestry block. Was always their long term plan but unfortunately won’t make as much as they’d been sold (the dream). So very reliant on the subdivisions to be a success. There’s 6 house sites of varying vista, but all 5 acres. They’re what they call lifestyle blocks here. Completely off grid but power could be extended up. Not looking to keep their current house which will be a shame but age isn’t ideal for the location.
  13. Sticking with the sheep theme, A trip up the back of my in laws place. Getting their land ready for subdivision so who knows how long we’ll still be able to venture up. But excellent view out towards the South Island.
  14. Think I was always been in the bottom six but cup win camp, otherwise it’s pointless. Interesting to see what changes are forced upon the squad.
  15. Ah well. We can now forget about this season, thank fuck for that. What an absolute disaster of a season.
  16. One more win to seal our safety (mathematically) I think? It’s not going to be a pretty game, this fixture never is. Shinnie is available for this one so will be interested to see if he comes straight back in or we stick. Out bed bed family time 1-0, duk
  17. Started watching boat story the other day, quite quirky. And violent
  18. I didn’t expect him to stay given the carry on. Whether it was agent led or club, felt like bridges had been burnt so I’m glad it’s abroad. He’ll be a good player and I’m hoping he gets to realise it abroad. Stay the fuck away from the SPFL if he can, don’t want to see him lining up against us.
  19. McGarry works well in the right situation, which we were not. He's also never one I'd have recommended from the A-league.
  20. Anyone going to the game on Wednesday? What are our chances here? Live on BBC as the banner says
  21. I’d be happy enough with him staying on. Done a good job so far off the bench and the experience / consistency would be a good option for a year. as an aside. I think we should be making a play for the Phoenix keeper Alex Paulsen. Very young and has been our number 1 all season. 11 shut outs, 80% save rate, commands his box really well and can deal with crosses. Good with his feet too. Would be cheap and definitely better than Roos. He’s got a great future ahead of him and a move to Scotland would help him on his way.
  22. An understandable disappointment (in his eyes).
  23. Would be very surprised if we see the same level of performance this weekend as we did the last. But it’s proven we still have the ability. Is shinnie out for this one too? Be interesting if Leven opts for the same starting XI or brings Sokler into the fray a bit more. We were the last team to beat them, and we’ve not lost to them at pittodrie since early last season. So we should be relatively confident against them. out bed bed day with the kids and hopefully nursing a hangover if the nix win the league 2-1 dons, Miovski and Sokler
  24. No disagreements there. I was genuinely pleasantly surprised by the commentary.
  25. Think as Dan said, it would be good for continuity and bedding in the new management team. He also has the benefit of not being tarnished by negativity as Robson now does. Be an interesting move for him if he does take it.
