  1. Agreed, Ramirez has been a huge relief. Seems to have embraced his time with us and hopefully feeling pretty settled. A good poacher, which we need and as tlg says, I’d definitely be looking to extend his deal. Watkins I was happy enough with coming back, given how he played with Hedges in his first stint. Would be nice if he managed to convince him to sign a new deal before we’re able to sell him. seems to be getting fitter and up to speed. JET, has great ability and probably not someone I’d have signed. However in games like this, it’s great to have that option. A luxury? Maybe, but if he helps create space and opportunities for others, I’m ok with that.
  2. I'm feeling a bit more confident about this game, not sure why exactly. I just hope it finally starts to click
  3. Agreed. If Gallagher had been a mainstay it would be different but we shouldn’t be switching it up for the sake of it. worth noting that saints havent won in 7
  4. Another huge game this weekend, which could help build on wednesdays performance. They’re not a bad side and will certainly offer more of an opponent than livi did. Would be great to get on a bit of a run and help separate us from the pack, as it is hugely congested across the league. wonder if we’ll see Ramsay return to the bench? Definitely due back around now but haven’t heard a peep from the club. out bed bed bed 1-1, Ferguson
  5. Believe early this month but I couldn’t see an actual timeframe from glass. Just that he didn’t want to put pressure on him
  6. Fantastic, must be our first result against a bottom six side in a fair while? Saw both goals and Bates' finish was tidy. Please let this be the confidence booster they really needed.
  7. Is it match day?!? The love really is going for this team. Thread is silent
  8. Great summary, baggy, cheers! Will reply later when i've got a bit more time.
  9. Back on topic, I would actually like Ufuk talay, current nix manager to become dons manager one day. Nix play some great football and he’s turned the clubs mentality around. Brings through youth and given he was ollyroos coach, has the experience to bring through. He’s made cammy devlin what he is today. Calm, collected, and attacking. Cormack needs to have a look.
  10. Obviously off topic but Auckland (certainly west these days) has a lot of gun crime. Presumably because the aussies actually kicked their own convicts out (kiwis who were only born here but lived the vast majority of their lives there, hence the crime). NZ couldn’t turn them away. But they were all gang cunts.
  11. Sounds like Auckland
  12. Nix renamed it Woolongong. Anyway, Nix have plenty of aussie fans but they're all over the country. Hoping to get back to NZ at the end of Jan and actually get some games back here. Second season they've had to do this, so clubs finances have taken a massive hit.
  13. I'm laughing but only because that's true
  14. Have a feeling that this will be one of many make or break games this season. Lose and it'll be hard to deny we're not in a bit of shit. It's incredibly tight from top to bottom, but we're definitely in the latter half. Results go against us and we could be second bottom on the weekend. Hoping to catch some of this, although doubt it'll be on Youtube like the tims game was or some of the others earlier in the season. How long is mackenzie out for? We need something positive. Out Bed Bed Work 1-1, Ramirez
  15. Definitely has special screws, the fuckers don't make it easy. I'm leaning towards Tom's idea that Apple probably think 7 years is time for a new one...
  16. This is going to be a huge week for us. We could end up being joint second from bottom come the end but of it. I watched most of the second, we were lucky to avoid a pumping but I actually missed their second goal. Need some amount of skill and good fortune to pick something up on Wednesday.
  17. Would love this to be right!
  18. I've had my macbook (retina display) for nigh on 7 years, and the other day a vertical white line appeared on screen and has not shifted. I'm figuring its something LED related or however the retina display works, but is it salvagable? It's very thin at the mo, but it's dead zone and i'm hoping there is either a fix or it won't expand. Cheers
  19. well, you didn’t predict 4/4 defeats, so varying degrees of optimism, granted. I genuinely can’t see where our next 3 points come from. im with Jute on Glass this week, I really expected him to fight for his player but I didn’t think he did. Haven’t listened to his pre matcher, but I wasn’t impressed with what I read / heard this week. I want him to be successful with us, and really hope you’re right @tlg1903
  20. Admire the optimism, but given they got papped out of europa league, I expect they'll be pissed and want to redeem themselves. Annoying really as their defence really aren't all that, but I don't think we have the skill to capitalise on that.
  21. It’s what I don’t get, how folk can say we won’t be in the mix at the bottom, where’s the evidence of this?
  22. Voted for fair play award. Can someone check in on Jute?
  23. Not looking forward to this. Celtic, whilst still a bit erratic have definitely had an uptick in form since we played them last. We had a flutter of success and returned to default. We've had a lot of bad luck this season, but we've also made a helluva lot of bad decisions. If we manage to get out backline playing like it did a few weeks back, we might have a shot as they're still not the polished article. Ramirez has shown he can take decent chances if presented to him, but he needs the service. When is Ramsay due back? Has there been any word on MacKenzie? Not sure where Hedges' head is at (apart from elsewhere), but he needs to keep it simple. We are too reliant on him, but we are where we are. Was hoping he and Watkins may rekindle their form from his previous time, would be a nice time for this to click. Bed Bed Bed 2-0 tims, no dons scorer
  24. Its Scotland, i'm not surprised. Same old shite.
  25. Has anything more come of that fat jute bastard? Surely the club aren’t going to let him get away with it. very much in agreement with you tlg. I think I read somewhere we’d played the same defensive line up twice? Consistency is always key and the rest follows. Then needs to be the creativity. We’re definitely easier on the eye this season, but not clinical enough. Who those players are we need to bring in, I don’t know.
