  1. Milsom for me, first to sign, has shown commitment and I don't read any silly stories about him in the press.
  2. A true professional to the core. I was glad we had you for a year Hartley, hopefully some of your good work ethic has rubbed off onto the youngsters. But as others have said, the right time and it takes a man to admit it.
  3. Just watched the first episode of the apprentice. The right person got voted off, someone you could tell from the adverts that they were a cunt.
  4. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8069686.stm
  5. At least he'll be able to keep his evening job
  6. Whilst I don't disagree with anything you've said there, I personally am finding it quite difficult getting positive about next season. Obviously, I hope this changes, because this has been a complete abortion of a season on and off the pitch. Arguably the only things the club got right was the sacking off Magoo/appointment of a manager and the signings of Vernon, Hartely, Folly and Milsom. Thats not been a lot to shout about, and my concerns are that the board do not care/or are aware of the work involved in actually overhauling our team. I've emailed the club about this and they insist they are aware of the task ahead, but i remain sceptical. We cannot rely on youth in all departments, and need experience in crucial areas to develop these players. Whilst the stadium and facilities are all well and good, there is no point in having some of the best facilities if we are in division 1. There are so many short term problems, which haven't been addressed, they're now long term ones. This could be one of the most important summers AFC has seen in a long time, it has to prove something to the fans before the fans show their side of the bargain that they have been holding since Milne took over. As I said, I hope they get this right, and i'm sure my optimism will return over the course of the summer. But good riddance to a horrific season! Stand Free.
  7. I'd rather keep aluko.
  8. Some might say transition Not really sure what to make of the comments, seems like he's a decent player and good to have around the place...
  9. We've been in decline since Milne took over, as highlighted in the other thread, but I'd argue that there's no point in him talking about it, it's in the past. Because he is wrong and part of the clubs demise. We were in decline during JC's reign, due to the boards lack of investment.
  10. that was quite embarrassing! I don't understand how the club can deem this to be acceptable. It's beyond a joke.
  11. Why smith?!?
  12. I see he's in the paper saying we've been in demise since jimmy calderwood left. Honestly, change the record!
  13. Trying to get in there early Andrew?
  14. I want to laugh at this, but I don't think I can :-/
  15. That song is annoyingly catchy, but the song that annoyed me was the Luis Suarez one/I can't get enough....time bastards! And, yes, I could, but I won't
  16. Sorry brown, but you're wrong. The guy has been a liability for a good number of seasons. Its a shame, he had potential, but due to being an ungrateful Tim ned, he's failed to realise it. Please ensure he is escorted from the City limits. Thanks.
  17. this, without his goals, we'd be preparing for life elsewhere.
  18. Was at the game and had the misfortune of sitting amongst the red shite. I'll give them their due, but how any team can lambast united for having a national support. I heard about 4 scouse accents while I was there! They've also adopted the Tim tune of I just can't get enough schwarzer was awful last night and hangeland was getting ripped by Suarez. Some cracking finishes though.
  19. Amen to that, I've never been to hamiltons ground because noone has said a good word about it. Fuck them.
  20. How Brown could have a go at the fans is beyond me, hopefully it's just his management skills showing through and not wanting to lambast one of his players. Diamond deserves everything he gets though.
  21. Agreed. Actually been a positive in the joke and disaster that was the magoo era.
  22. Well I hope he gets a bang back to reality sooner rather than later. I wanted him to stay, but if he thinks that he is better than us, I hope the dole mongering tink gets his comeuppance. Enjoy the Scottish second division ya ned Tim cunt.
  23. Who the hell is voting as deek as the player of the season? I still hold him as one of the reasons we lost to septic in the first semi final. But overall, I don't think many folk hold the club in the same regard as it was once held. Years of mismanagement have finally reaped what they intended to sow. A passive and disillusioned support.
  24. Anyone going to this? Can see this being quite a tight game, with st johnstone finding their shooting boots again. I suppose it all depends on how calamatous diamond is feeling today!
  25. So true.
