  1. Ojos sending off is ridiculous. Only thing I’ve seen from the game and probably will remain that way. Shite state of affairs. Can only be unlucky for so long.
  2. Let's hope its due to the latter
  3. FFS. Gio as manager. That's a reasonable appointment
  4. Big one coming up, arabs have had a reasonable season so far despite not scoring that many goals. Mulgrew seems to be quite important for them and they’re 6 points clear of us. we also need to get back to winning ways. The Motherwell game, whilst being a potential banana skin (and turning out to be so) was a disappointment as it was like the previous week had been forgotten. Not got our usual place in the shed but hopefully the noise will be decent enough from our fans. hibs (level on points but just above us) have two games on us so we need to try and claw some ground as they’ll likely get four points from those fixtures. And that’s forgetting the number of teams below us who are on level points or within spitting distance of us. Pressure is most definitely on. Motherwell on 18 points are just above hibs. Don’t think we can really look up the league table yet. Not sure where we are on the injury front but would hope no one picked up an additional injury during the break. out bed bed bed 1-1, Ramirez
  5. Thought I’d posted yesterday but was still in my drafts. That was an epic watch. Hampden looked like it was raucous (had it on mute as it was office reception) but managed to time my venturings with the goals. What a finish for the second, but would echo what everyone else has said. Ran themselves ragid and I think made it very difficult for the Danes to play. They’re a very good side and we saw what they could do in the second half as they started to control the game. But we kept our cool and some terrific work at the back kept us in it. First time in a long time, I was jealous of those at the game and wanted to be back.
  6. The Danes fielding pretty much a full strength team? Genuine question, I don't know. have managed to get the receptionist to put the game on, so hopefully be able to nip out and sneak a few mins here at there.
  7. I see we’ve got a card happy ref for this game. Just what we need
  8. hun tears have been great. I want much more of this please
  9. He’s a shoe in. The media will make sure they get their man into stybrox . Hun tears are excellent so far
  10. Welcome aboard the intl' crew!
  11. Was gonna say, I’m not sure that’s saying much
  12. Yasss booking my flights back as we speak
  13. Following the release of Aberdeen City Council’s latest City Centre Masterplan Committee Report published today, Aberdeen FC Chairman, Dave Cormack, said: “We welcome the Council’s progress with their ambitious vision for the city centre and the regeneration of the beachfront which includes an integrated leisure arena with an ice rink and new stadium with community facilities. “The scale of the vision and the pace at which it’s being taken forward signal the Council’s real ambition for our city, which the Club shares. The revitalisation of the beachfront, with a new stadium as a stunning focal point would, we believe, provide a compelling destination attracting locals and visitors. It is exactly the type of forward thinking which is required as Aberdeen rises to meet the challenges which the city was already facing before the pandemic. It will provide a real stimulus as we embark on the road to recovery from both the pandemic and the shift away from reliance on fossil fuels. “The report and images released by the Council today demonstrate the “art of the possible” recognising that the project is still at an early stage of development. The Club will work with the Council and its consultants to provide input as they develop a detailed business case and funding plan for the project.” taken from the club website : https://www.afc.co.uk/2021/11/05/city-centre-masterplan-committee-report/
  14. Any decent new reads around? Christmas coming up so always good to have a book or two ready
  15. Listened to Clyde pre hun match whilst trying to find a ratio stream to get the game, they were mightily impressed with that stat. Incredible when you think about it.

    Coronavirus

Honestly, I’ve had it with the anti vaxxers. The worst thing I quite a few of them are goggle eyed yanks . I’d hope karma gets them but the sad thing is we end up paying for them as they’ll end up in hospital and they put the rest of the country at risk. It’s selfish. the government hasn’t sewn any seeds of division, quite the contrary. It’s all on them. But I get your arbitrary number point. I think they were just trying to get the numbers up as high as possible, and given Auckland has a high population and is in lockdown I think it made sense. The sad thing in all of this is it is the Maori communities (high proportion in poverty than any other) that are especially susceptible to their bullshit as they quite rightly have grown to have a deep mistrust of authority. The freaks have preyed on them and took advantage of their fears, which means there’s a higher proportion of Maori who’re unvaxxed. Not sure how the govt change that, but change they must as Maori are also more likely to get and have severe reactions to covid. yesterday I had to tell a mate I won’t be seeing them anytime soon as they are unvaxxed. In laws are in the vulnerable category and have asked us not to contact unvaxxed where possible. It’s a weird fucking situation.

    Coronavirus

NZ are reverting to a traffic light system, which I don’t fully understand yet but I’ve not had the time to go through it. But it all hinges on all the district health boards achieving 90% vaccination rate each. Think we’re at 89% for the country but that’s not each dhb. No idea how they’re going to convince the largely anti vax freaks in the far north and east. Hoping intl travel (beyond Aussie etc) gets sorted the second 1/4 of next year. Fucking over this.
  19. That’s the spirit! I’m just nervous. Well have only won twice away from home this season, one of which was against QOTS in the cup.
  20. Slightly off topic here guys but I’d say you just don’t like cunts HD. Which is a perfectly valid POV.
  21. Another home game, out last venture before the international break, which feels like it's coming at the wrong time for us. Well were pumped by the huns so that must mean we'll pump them, right? Good old school play ground logic...I think we'll get a draw out of this one, and i'd be pleased enough with that. Given where we were a few weeks back, going through this period undefeated would be some turnaround. Wells form overall has been pretty poor of late, last tasting victory in September (yes, one of their victories was against us) so they're there for the taking. Hoping we don't have any fresh injury doubts and can effectively start with the same team that started the weekend. It's also good to know that the tweak at 1/2 time means we could have a potential plan B. Out Bed Bed Bed 1-1, Ramirez
  22. I genuinely didn't think their last manager was a bad appointment. How wrong I was.
  23. Enjoyed those highlights and definitely seem to correlate with what they were saying on sportsound. Decent passing and Ferguson looked up for it. Surely we have a deal in place for him to go in the summer. I’d rather that than Jan as you never get a good deal then. Gordon looked good as per, that save from Ramirez was very good. Just such a lanky fuck so has great reach.
  24. @Jute what’s happened to Hernandez and Atlanta? Seemed like he was getting decent game time until his birthday?
  25. Feels like this will be a true litmus test to see if this team are going to build something. Wednesday was definitely a bonus (didn't see that coming at all) and hopefully the team (management included) will take a lot of heart from that. Likewise the fans. Hearts seem to have stuttered a wee bit. Three draws in their last three games although they haven't lost in some time. So a draw might seem a likely result. Not sure how we stack up injury wise? I'm hoping Ramirez was precautionary rather than a proper injury. He's consistently scoring now so would be a huge loss now our players are actually finding him. Also, I think i'd like to see us stick with Brown at the back, it worked well and means McGeouch can finally get a look in. Out Bed Bed Bed 2-1, think we might nick this one. Ramirez (fingers crossed) and Ferguson.
