  1. Head, possibly the right move re: Consi, but heart definitely thinks he deserved to stay and finish his career at his boyhood club. I don't doubt he'd have hung up his boots if he didn't think he was able to contribute. Huge risk losing his experience, certainly don't trust what is left behind anyway. Ramirez going would be frustrating. He's clearly a poacher but has had fuck all service for months. Probably was very close to Glass, but not much we can do about that. McGeouch is a frustrating one. Clearly a player there, we just don't see it often enough because he get's a knock. I'd still be tempted to keep him, unless they've got big plans that they're confident on. Certainly can't be having another transfer window like the last (even ignoring the shite three or four we've had prior to that).
  2. Couldn't mind if it was sleeves or shorts. That actually sounds even worse.
  3. I see some are claiming we've failed to get a blue chip main sponsor so having shit loads of adverts (3) on shirt, shorts.
  4. Really is make or break. Whilst I share some peoples confidence that hearts will get at least a point of not all three against hibs, I do not share this optimism that we can beat county. Their results haven’t been bad and not out of it. Also depends on livi only drawing with Well. Our season has been a shit storm and it would take an absolute miracle to make the top 6. Just feel we’ve left ourselves with far too much to do and rely on luck. A draw would sum up our season. anyway, think we need to bring consi in for this, need some sort of experience at the back. God know what we can do to get Ramirez out of his shite run of form. I’d rather he didn’t leave in the summer (as rumoured). But we need to give him some service. Surely Watkins starts as well? out bed bed bed 1-1, Ferguson
  5. Surprised at how many folk think it’s entirely feasible to win next week. The hibs result was a bit of a freak. I can see hearts winning and us drawing. Would be the typical way of the season. anyway, will check out the highlights from this game later. Sounds like the same old problems that have dogged us this all season. Wonder what we can do to get Ramirez out of this funk?
  6. Had wondered if I’d heard that right, so they are playing Qatar? Fucksake.
  7. Back in action after the international break. Feels like an age since we played last. Hopefully the guys will have some confidence after the win against hibs and worked on building on it. dees form isn’t great but neither is ours, but I’d hope that we’re heading in the right direction. Hopefully Ramirez finds his scoring touch again, has looked a frustrated figure. out bed bed bed 2-1 dons, Ramirez and Ferguson
  8. Have they given any more about his death yet? Very sad news, was an excellent drummer but I know he OD’d from heroin years ago. When I heard “in a hotel room in Bogotá” my mind thought the worst.
  9. Not sure how he thought that was going to be overturned. Your last sentence is spot on though
  10. Not sure why Hivs are appealing that, clear as day, although is there something about attempting to get the ball? Not sure he has a leg to stand on as he's clearly just going to take the guy out to try and stop an inevitable goal. Decent finish from Besuijen, although it looked like he was aiming for the top corner and not where it ended up? Maybe it's just met. But still, great finish and good persistence from Watkins. A shame the intl' break has come when it has.
  11. The cheeks should be pleased, at least they're guaranteed one of them in the final...
  12. Hibs aren't that good, but then again, neither are we. Hopefully the team will have used the two week break to their advantage, and if there were any clashing ego's, that's now resolved. Really need a result here as I don't want to rely on those below being shiter than us to avoid a play off. Out Bed Bed Bed 1-1, Ferguson
  13. Yep, no real issues with this on the basis he’ll be back up. Brilliant professional, and clearly loves the club. Regardless, huge summer ahead
  14. Good to see Magoo's time at the Dees is going well. Although saints winning is shite for us.
  15. Can't remember if it was here or on twitter, but someone said he's a captain in waiting. Didn't expect the opportunity would present itself so soon, but he certainly wouldn't be a bad choice.
  16. Jute watches the Dons and Scott Brown leaves shortly after, coincidence? I think not! It's a shame, in principle, it should have been a good move, but it hasn't worked out (probably too much baggage and ego). Just hope we see a change in tact at the club, this year has been painful and we've looked completely lost. Time for another reset.
  17. Is Watkins out for the season or just up until the split? That would be a huge boost. Slightly depressing that our season potentially hinges on him.
  18. Fuck, didn't realise we didn't have a game for nearly two weeks. Really hope Goodwin uses it to knock a few heads together. This team really need to get their shit together.
  19. We're pish, but they're not infallible . This could go either way to be honest. Exactly the type of fixture we need to galvanise the team or it could break us. Really not sure which way I'm leaning towards at the moment. Probably the latter. Do we have our injured players back for this one? I've not really paid much attention apart from watching most of the shit show yesterday. Out Bed Bed Bed 3-0, no dons scorer
  20. Jesus, that's depressing
  21. Sakes, what happened to trying to break the stereotype of not being able to do more than one thing, Jute?!?
  22. The return of Jute? hearts’ forms hasn’t been great, but secured a victory on the weekend, whereas we’ve still be middling. Need our midfield to be on form with scrappy do (devlin) back to form for them. Be interesting to see how Goodwin starts to try and make us harder to beat. Need Bates to find some sort of form again. out breakfast wfh wfh 2-1 hearts, Ferguson
  23. Only section available apparently, that’s pretty good going.

    War

So what are everyone's thoughts on how likely actual breakout of war in Eastern Europe is? Is this going to be the next flash point to create a regional war or will the West (and the rest) let Putin take Ukraine apart, bit by bit? Plenty of reasons why Putin is doing it, and he's never made any secret of wanting to bring back the USSR. Feel awful for the Ukrainians, they deserve their own country and are being used as a pawn by two former super powers. Hard to see it going to anything but conflict, Putin's ego wouldn't allow it. He's come too far now. Guess the next question would be, where / how does it stop?
