I'm sure, or I think we discussed this during the game and I agreed at the time. It still doesn't take the pain away though. I pray that Brown gets rid of these serial offenders in the summer and hopefully have a side that does not bottle it, or at least, to a lesser extent. I think we all knew we were getting carried away with the optimism, but I genuinely felt that we could do some damage. Just a shame, hopefully Brown has learned from it and won't play a bizarre formation like that again.

Think you've pretty much summed it up for me. A lot of those fans have probably had it taken out of them over the years, and whenever there is an opportunity for the club to show a potential turning of the corner, they go and completely throw it in the fans faces. Spineless is how I would describe the performance yesterday. I stayed till the end, as I always refuse to leave before FT, but I was amazed there were so many left tbh. Nearly had an argument with a guy in front of me who said Maguire was pish etc...Some of our fans really do astound me.

Hopefully they can see this. I used to think that they might be able to teach the players to lose that mentality, but I am now of the opinion it is impossible. The regular offenders need to go before as you point out it infects the attitudes of the promising players.

I think the most frustrating thing was those Irish jakey scum bags were there for the taking. The line up was wrong, the formation was wrong, zander still exists and clangers was his usual big game bottler. Waste of a day out. They score four pish goals and we could have blade it so much more interesting by actually putting the chances away. sad times.

As was documented by folk around us, what is it with us and conceding 4 in a semi? To me, the same people are responsible throughout these games and its time to get rid.
