  1. Lol, I know fuck all about him! I do recall him playing on the rare the occassions. Will try find out some more. Either way, welcome aboard!
  2. Couldn't put it better myself. Mackie for all his heart and sole has proven over a decade that he is pretty pish.
  3. Aye pretty much
  4. Why not make a big deal of it? It's a semi-final, we have a capable management team and the team appear to be performing better. The team needs our support and we always have a good piss up anyway. We have a chance of a trophy here. Just get yourself involved!
  5. Great news, fingers crossed we can secure a deal for him.
  6. Agreed. He should have stopped that. Entertaining game though!
  7. I mind that sign going up, was down the road from the office I worked in at the time. It's not there anymore though is it?
  8. I assumed that it was just a straight league of 14 rather than the 8 and 6 split. Otherwise I don't see why st. Mirren would want it
  9. Apparently Babel has been quite scathing about Howard Webbs performance today and has posted up a picture of Webb wearing a united shirt on Twitter. Surely he's going to get done for that, or is that his tactic to get out of the sinking ship?
  10. I think MiniJC's just gone to have some alone time again
  11. It's great isn't it ITV = clueless twats.
  12. Exactly, he needs to be signed up imo. Whether he will sign is another thing, maybe depends on how the team does this season.
  13. Oh I do understand, but I was excited and wanted to see more
  14. South stand is and always has been the best place to sit/stand in my opinion. Been to the rdu once and haven't been back since. Awful view!
  15. Why wasn't our game one with extended highlights? Some good finishing from us though, how vernon missed that chance is beyond me. The hibs and Arabs games were an awful advertisement for Scottish football. Did enjoy seeing the flare though ayr were unlucky not to win.
  16. I don't think anyone is really getting carried away, it's just nice to be winning games again. We've all supported the Dons long enough to know the character of the club, but i'm hoping that Brown and Knox change it, because it wasn't working.
  17. As Newcastle continue to spit and splutter at Broadhall Way, I can bring you some more rather extraordinary post-match reaction - this time from QPR manager Neil Warnock after his side's exit at Blackburn. An absolutely livid Warnock claimed Rovers' El-Hadji Diouf taunted striker Jamie Mackie as the player lay on the ground with a broken leg: "He is calling him all sorts on the pitch. There was no need to put the finger up and call him a disgrace and even the Blackburn people were embarrassed. I can't abide people like that...I think he is the lowest of the low and I can't see him being at Blackburn much longer because I can't see Steve Kean putting up with someone like that in the dressing room." Wow. Diouf is a scum bag. I hope Mackie has a speedy recovery. He seemed to have regained his form as well.
  18. Didn't Newcastle get knocked out the cup by them before? Late 90's if I remember correctly?
  19. To be fair, obviosly I wasn't at the game so can't really judge, but from what commentary we had, it did seem like Vernon missed 3 sitters, including one from a yard out Still, a good win and we're in the hat for the next round. That is all that matters
  20. Is it on BBC 1 Scotland? If so, what time?
  21. It's a strange and unfamiliar feeling. Long may it continue!
  22. Cheers, seems to be the same link that I found
  23. This game live online? When I go to sportsound, it just shows open all mics?
  24. Decent game from what I saw. Leeds were unlucky, though Fabregas and Walcott created so many chances in the last few mins. Walcott should have scored a couple.
