True enough, but whether through choice or not, it seemed at times last season, McGhee would play players out of principle. I can't see one of his purchases being shipped out purely on that fact alone. Just my observations mind. Also, I know I'm probably over thinking this, but who knows how the team may improve purely by having a person who knows how to win and talk players through games. I'm not expecting miracles, but Kerr knew fuck all about football or being a captain. We may just see a difference in the team :hereshopingsmilie:

Unlucky Septic Mark hughes is Fulham's new manager. Think that is a more than decent appointment. Hopefully he can build on Roy's success and ensure they retain a few of their key players from last season.

I think this season, i'm not going to predict how many points we should/could/will claim in the opening games. I want to try avoid any potential disappointment It would be great if we could pick up a couple of wins in our opening games. Hopefully having hartley (a winner) in the team as el Capitano will hopefully inspire the rest of the team to find their winning mentality.

As has been said in another thread, I am hoping that it is Mackie that gets punted on loan. He'll claim the largest wage out of all of them. Thats my logic anyway, guess we'll have to wait and see.

Surely thats wishful thinking. I wouldn't have thought that McGhee would let one of his own signings go out on loan? I don't know about anyone else, but i'm starting to feel positive about AFC again. Things seem to be moving in the right direction. Finally.

To be fair, its amazing that they seem to find the money when they REALLY need to. They'd probably be able to avoid random splashes of cash if they invested more wisely. But hey ho, onwards and upwards.

I'd say it would be seen as a successful transfer window. But we still need a left back. Hopefully the club can sort it out sooner rather than later. It would give the fans/players/club some much needed confidence! They seem to have dealt quite well with the transfers this summer. Keep it up AFC

It's a shame, because I thought he might turn into a solid player, but he doesn't look like he has it in him. Confidence seems to be completely shot everytime he plays and worringly short of awareness. Not exactly great attributes for a defender.

Agreed, Consi at Left Back, is not an option imo. We need a natural left back, otherwise, i'd rather have Foster there than Considine.

Watched that too bobby. The guys were absolute nutters. I was suprised the guy who fell had so few serious injuries, although i suppose he was still too injured to jump again. Still.
