  1. Exit was fantastic again this year. Can't say I remember most of it, but special mention to Yaesayer and Chemical brothers who were both fantastic
  2. Totally Kow, we're hardly going to get anyone at the top of their game, but he's a recognised name and will hopefully do a shift for us!
  3. I'm not doubting his ability Funster, but he played terribly for far too much of his time with us. When he could be bothered and the team played well, I would say he was one of Scotland's best, but the problem was it didn't happen anywhere near enough.
  4. Agreed, but only when he could be bothered. Other times he was an utter abortion of a player and like many of the other cunts in that team, a waste of life. He did fuck all for most of his time with us and we made some money from him. Thats fine by me.
  5. http://www.afc.co.uk/articles/20100705/aberdeen-sign-new-striker-_2212158_2084863 Signed from Cardiff City today. Welcome aboard.
  6. He'd have to find him first.
  7. Was thinking the same thing, well, Mulgrew aside.
  8. I thought I read that somewhere too Jute. I'd like to say it can't come soon enough, but I fear that the damage that deal has caused may be irreversable. Yet another thing thats wrong with our club! In my opinion, the club will always settle for a quick buck rather than hold out for a better one (see our transfer dealings). JustSport pay them a set fee do they not? I remember the days you could see an Aberdeen shirt in lillywhites in London.
  9. Redordead, I never realised that the difference in price was so vast I suppose thats the price you pay for having a "specialist product"/something that not many folk want to buy... The JustSport link has severly hindered us I think, especially during the season we were in the Uefa Cup. How long are we shackled to them for?

    Summer

Off to Serbia/Bosnia/Croatia next week. Can't fucking wait! It seemed so far away but I can't believe its only next week. Shame Serbia never made it to the 1/4's, would have been good fun watching them in Serbia. Hopefully on the way to Split we're gonna head through Bosnia as it seems quicker, and stop off at Sarajevo and Mostar (which looks amazing). Cheers for the train times Bobby, a mate's slovenian friend told us to go through Bosnia instead rather than go through Zagreb. Hopefully we've made the right decision!
  11. I think that is the sad state of affairs that we find ourselves in Baggy! i got a text from a tim mate who reluctantly said Charlie "cunt" Mulgrew will be their first signing. Just shows how shit the whole of Scottish football is really! I'm hoping that things heat up a bit after the world cup, but I don't see this as a reason as to why we've had nothing. Its hardly like we're after players of international quality and they are away on duty. The way the club are treating Duff is disgraceful, I don't care how bad he was as a player (which he was), it's horrific that a player who has a genuine affection for the club can be treated this way. I don't want to see you at the club next season Duff, but you deserve to be treated with dignity.
  12. LCD are playing at Exit, are they worth watching? Or a bit too chilled out? I've always wanted to see them, but I think they clash with someone I think would be a better festival act.
  13. It's the least he deserves
  14. Aye cos the names mark, charlie and gary did so well for us. I don't care who we sign, as long as they add something to the team. Which to be honest wouldn't be very difficult at this moment in time!
  15. Type 2204355 into google and press i'm feeling lucky.
  16. Watching faithless on bbc 3 at the mo, i'm surprised they're not headlining one of the nights! Always been a huge fan of them.
  17. Agree with pretty much what has been said, 5 years ago, I would have been more than happy, not sure how he fares these days though. But there's no doubting his talent, and it certainly would be nice to see a signing....who can actually pass the ball to another team mate.
  18. Lightning strikes 3 of Chicago's tallest buildings simultaneously .
  19. Exactly, whilst I am not happy with many things at the club, the youth are the only shining light at the moment. Hopefully they repay the clubs faith and live up to their potential!
  20. True, but as Kow said, this is the poorest Aberdeen squad we've probably ever had. As much as it pains me to say it we can't have these expectations at the moment. Last season wasn't a freak season, we weren't unlucky, we were outplayed and "out passioned" in most games. These players don't have it in them, and since most of them are still there, it's sadly not going to miraculously change. I'd prefer a harder start as this rabble seem to "raise their game" against better opposition. You know I'm an optimistic person, but thus far, AFC have done nothing to change my thoughts from last season. Having said all this, I pray i'm wrong and McGhee, the coaching staff and the players turn it around over the summer and correct what was missing last season.
  21. It's the sad indictment of the times we are now in that these are what we expect from our team. But we have to face facts, we're no where near where we once were and I don't see it changing anytime soon. Especially with the way teams set up against us.
  22. It should be 9 points, I'd accept 6, but it'll probably be 4. We have to bare in mind that we are always slow starters. If we're struggling by christmas then mcghee would have to go. But lets hope it doesn't come to that.
  23. As long as its not a cherry bakewell. He'll be fine
  24. I thought 1st April was earlier in the year? I can't wait to see what this new team is going to look like....
  25. Thats what amused me about the article, saying that the scout had gone to watch him and been impressed. When? He didn't play much after his first couple of games?
