We're 8th now after St. Johnstone managed to get 3 points at Falkirk today. Though a good result for us was Hearts losing to Motherwell today. Our faint hopes of a top 6 finish are still alive, albeit by the thinnest thread ever.

I don't know, I think it will be a significant influence. But either way, roll on the season I'm going to call for Hamilton, though I think Vettel will have a very strong season.

Didn't manage to watch that game, but I'm heading to the home leg this week. The Cottage is a sellout, hopefully be a decent game and atmosphere. I hear the Juve fans are as good as Burnley's I see Hibs are drawing with County. Lets hope Hibs manage to fuck it up Full time. Hibs will not win the replay at Victoria Park

Indeed! I think the rule change with regards to refueling will be massive! Really interesting grid for tomorrow, vettel is a strong driver so i'm intrigued to see whether he holds on and finishes first. Should be a really good season

I watched it on BBC instead, great because i didn't realise it was on terrestrial TV! As you say, Park played really well, and it was a good team performance from United today and they deserved their win. Owen looked gutted at the end. I thought it was one of his better games in a United shirt as well! Considering how few goals Rooney scored with his head prior to this season, it makes you wonder how much he's practiced it recently. I wish our players showed that sort of dedication and drive to try and improve their game.

Watched the Carling Cup final, decent first half, but the second was a bit drab. Valencia and Rooney linked up really well, but I think vidic was quite fortunate to escape at least a booking for his tackle on Agbonglahor in the 1st half. I also managed to catch a bit of the Spurs Everton game today, Spurs second goal is a peach. Great play just between Corluka, Modric and Kranjcar. Fantastic football.

I think that this is the only solution. I worry though that he may be too stubborn to admit defeat on his methods/tactics (see his quote earlier on in the week). Something needs to be done and if this is the only way to do it, he has to be man enough to admit his ideas are beyond these players footballing ability. I just don't understand his persistence with it as we all knew that 4-4-2 is the only setup that these players understand. We know they are stupid?
