  1. Exactly, we need a defender and a striker. Surely since we have skant resources as it is, we should be using them far more wisely than on positions that we are reasonably well covered in. That said though, with our current inability to create very much and convert it, its hard to see an area of our team that couldn't do with a facelift. Apart from in goals
  2. Excellent team there BB though I would swap Stavrum for Booth. Imagine having that midfield today...would be the stuff of dreams, especially with Aluko and Pawlett coming off the bench
  3. Clearly one of the fans and its nice to read. I doubt the club will actually be willing to get him aboard though.
  4. I fail to see the down side to this? He's not scoring, he's playing terribly. Sounds like an ideal situation to get him the hell out of the starting line up! About time and all!
  5. Me neither...
  6. Well, the upside, at least FJ will be happy now
  7. I'm quite gutted, she was hot.
  8. DId you manage to find it on TV? I assumed because there was no English involvement it wouldn't be on. Decent game? Watched MOTD last night, loved Pompey's "you're getting sacked in the morning" chant to Benitez. Also, he doesn't pull sarcasm off very well. Still, Liverpool
  9. On the sauce were we Harcus bit ott! Even if Reekie's opinion is wrong
  10. I think thats a stupid decision.
  11. Word on BBC is that Man City are going to make an annoucement at 7PM. Surely he can't get the sack?!?! Just seen an interview with Bruce, and all the pundits are saying he looked like he knew something.
  12. Exactly what I said in the match thread Kow! I think this will be a blessing in disguise.
  13. That makes for horrendous reading! McGhee needs to get his act together and fucking quickly. I'm glad Miller got sent off, its the only way we're going to see a team without him. Please fuck off in Jan. Thank you.
  14. Reekie, whilst we played horrendous football last season, and we didn't set the heather alight, the fact is, we finished with more points than 8 other SPL teams. That would tell you that they were worse than us and therefore, we deserved our final league position.
  15. So the coefficient still fucked then? Didn't bother with the football tonight.
  16. Exactly. As others have alluded to, we finished above united with them. It would add spice to the tie, but I don't want JC at another SPL team.
  17. I will say this, I used to be of that same opinion (that he didn't get the right service) but I've now seen too many inept performances that he has to shoulder the blame. I know quite an outrageous comparison, but look at Rooney, he comes back and is a true grafter and brings others into play. We see non of that with Miller. When he's fired up, he is fantastic, no doubt about it, but these performances are few and far between. He has stagnated, and it appears there is nothing any manager can do about it, because they clearly don't have the balls to drop/subsititute him.
  18. I don't dispute with that at all. But over the years, the professionalism of footballer's has always come into question. We only need to look as far as James Beattie last week to see how childish footballer's can be. I hope the squad aren't still bitter about the change. Everyone needs to move on, but our performances just aren't doing that at the moment. Hell, I'm sure Stoney had a "had this been last season we would have lost this fixture (re Hamilton)"... As I said, this is just what I see as an outsider, I don't know if its true or not, but they really don't seem to give a fuck. Its not something new because it was very clear last season too. My only worry is we don't have enough cash to clear some of this deadwood and unprofessional players that may hinder the progress of any youngsters coming through. Its a shame that Jamie Smith was always injured, because he always came across as the consummate professional.
  19. Been meaning to pick up on this all week, but kept forgetting. I thinkits all very true, and I hope that McGhee is that man to inspire orkeep the squad inspired. But the worrying thing for me at the momentis, that i'm really not sure. Its all coming back down to most of usbeing convinced over the summer that this was a sideways step. You do have to wonder as well, how happy the players really are? They seem tohave less fight than they did last season
  20. soo.....Aluko and Paton up front? I'd be satisfied if we gave that a go. Mackie needs to go, he's done F-all for the 10 years he's been here, its not going to change. And before you start, I know he scored a couple of important goals, but you can't live off that for the whole of your career.
  21. Have to say, I agree with you, it sounded too good to be true. Especially our luck with transfers!
  22. But maverick, nothing has changed since last season with him. He has been god awful since the january transfer window shut last season. Then, the worst thing possible happened, boro were apparently interested which made him think his horrendous performances were actually good! They saw the real miller play and sadly he's been at the club one whole season too long. I'm not having a go at you, since you say, its all about opinions, but yours is wrong i have seen one maybe two good performances from the lazy cunt since the 31st jan. Bye lee miller, don't let the dons hit you on the way out.
  23. Surely Thomson has just prepared Avril's speech for him today with these comments? Whilst probably not far from the truth, its surely going to fire the arabs up?
  24. I just wonder if MM has the balls to do it. Lord knows he should have been dropped earlier on in the season, and nothing happened.
