  1. Excellent thought provoking posts in this thread so far. And I must say, its something that I'm sure most of us have spent plenty of time debating. I think it is even more critical now, that the club get a Cup win, to galvanise our support, and possibly the hangers on. Obviously this won't make much of a dent in the debt, but it will be a starting point. I think people have lost faith in the club, which is certainly something I gather from BB post. Whether or not the players find it in their hearts to provide it to the support is another thing, but I think Dingus is slowly making good roads forward. We needed change, and I just hope he provides us with the catalyst to kick on from what was a mediocre, but solid base. Regular European football and getting the rest of the youngsters like Pawlett has done, to sign long term deals is the highest priority the club should be dealing with. We need to accept we will probably have to become more of a selling club, and ensure we follow the HIVs model of tarting our players.
  2. Good stuff, I predict more carnage in the Rob Roy then Still, when I actually could attend games, I was always hammered by then anyway. Never really made much of a difference to me.
  3. Kjaer should be higher. That is all.
  4. As are Arsenal. Poor play from Arsenal.
  5. Its been gash. Just as well I'm not bothering with the second half. But as things stand, do Olympiakos qualify? I haven't really been paying attention.
  6. I've only seen one or two of the new series and it just didn't seem as good without Simon Amstell. I think Spooks has been great this series! I can't wait for the next episode.
  7. I'd completely forgot Rangers were even in Europe Arsenal game is a bit pish. Anyone read about Jim Magilton today?
  8. I think we need teams like Hearts to make the league marketable. As much as I would love to see them get relegated/ go bust. It would make Scottish Football even more of a laughing stock than it already is. Still. just for the moment of seeing Hertz with their heads in their hands again might make it all worth it
  9. Yes, I think he sounds like a cock.
  10. Does anyone know where that is It kinda looks like New Zealand, though I've never been so I'm just guessing?
  11. Well done to the lad!
  12. Haha thats hilarious. What a great Sunday
  13. Its encouraging that we are actively searching for players. Hopefully he's decent and keen for a move of some sort. Mcghee's track record with bringing players through isn't bad is it?
  14. Exactly Bb, he's had so many inept performances that i'm not going to be won over by a performance against der hun. I hope he follows it up with another but i'm not holding my breath. I also don't think Mcghee Would be daft enough to go for a player like charlie, surely? He's past it!
  15. Is it Tennents super on tap?
  16. I've tried posting this 3 times so fingers crossed it actually works this time. Rdu, if you're in glasgow, anywhere on the gallowgate shall be showing it. Just don't let it be known you are a man of substance. They may try to rape you. Also some won't show it until the last second before kick off! Mon the reds!
  17. FJ has a soft spot for Roma. But aye its like Tynie, though Topcorner thought was like Tannalice :\ The Putney End (which was where we were sat) was the Shed he said, just bigger, better and so therefore clearly not! Did I mention all I had to pay was £7.50! Oh and we had the best pies ever! Full of steak meat and actual thick gravy. Only downside was having to wait about 20 mins for them. I'll try and post a video of the CSKA fans later this weekend, they were quite amusing.
  18. Was at craven cottage tonight with topcorner for the cska sofia game. Great first half. Fulham played some awesome stuff. Cska fans were great as well, had some good bouncing and chants going. Thought fulham were going to hump them during the first half, but were probably quite lucky not to concede in the second. I was surprised though, fulham have real fans!
  19. Listened to Zane Lowe's masterpieces. Listened to the Metallica - Black Album first, one of my favourite albums of all time. So Reekie, if you can iPlayer stuff in NZ, its worth a listen again on the iplayer! Its on till next tuesday.
  20. As BB says, despite their previous failings, I don't think that this is going to happen this time around. He's far too good of a prospect and I think even the board realise that he is part of the future of the club. They've spent time and money and he's only 16. Here's hoping anyway :\
  21. Bit aprehensive about this one, but hell, the guys gave themselves some confidence last saturday, I just hope they can emulate the work rate, team work and tenacity to get a result at a place that has not been favourable to us on weekends. I'm trying not to get too excited about it, but I am finding it increasingly difficult.
  22. Ok, maybe horrendous slightly exagerates the severity of the challenge, but I certainly didn't think it was a gooden! He lost the ball carelessly and went right through the guy. Still, I enjoyed seeing the hun bastard writhing in pain How their backline avoided punishment was beyond me. Miller took a beating!
  23. Just watched the highlights, and as I suspected, Kerr's first tackle (for the first yellow card) was horrendous. Could have been a red to be honest, but thats irrelevant as his second was never a card in a million years. I see BBC chose not to show the "penalty" incident. Just shows how much of a joke it was despite Sky's protestations.
  24. You have to hit the cross bar. Hence the name But Young clipped the underside of it. When I saw it yesterday, I thought he'd missed, but then he got the jersey. So I must have been wrong.
