  1. Something we've not had since Hart left us. I thougt he conducted himself very well in the interview and I was impressed with his attitude. I had my doubts over him signing for us, but he certainly says the right things, and hope that his performances back him up. I certainly hope he gets the full backing of the support.
  2. Last chance salloon for Wright. Hopefully he finds some kind of form and adds something to the team. I don't think Dazza will ever look like a player redordead
  3. I'll avoid the obvious one cos i'm sure its been done. Daft Punk - Human after All
  4. Really could do with a win tomorrow just to maintain a close distance with HIVs. Hopefully the team can build on what were clear positives last weekend and get a couple of goals and 3 vital points.
  5. Harsh on Fulham. How pants is Pantsil though? Nevland has to hang his head in shame though, an opportunity to take it forward and instead passes it back into his own half where all the Roma players were...shocking.
  6. Nice save from Schwarzer! Good atmosphere. Not the best match on the eye but good fun, rock the underdog! Nevland unlucky not to score there.
  7. Fulham 1-0 up against Roma. Fully deserved so far, sounds like a cracking atmosphere at The Cottage.
  8. Flock me! 4-0?!? Watched the first 1/2 of the Lazio-Villareal game. Villareal were unlucky not to be in front. But I couldn't understand why the stadium was so empty?
  9. Sharpie I think this is what you were chatting about the other night was it not? Anyway, enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpUfUYfio8o
  10. Too late, you're already in it But yes, I agree with what you are saying. JC certainly seemed to play certain player irrespective of form. Young due to his "good to have around the place" attitude certainly would still be a starter. But it is all if's, but's and maybe's. JC did play Pawlett and Paton towards the end of the season, but whether or not that was due to having very little choice is open to debate.
  11. Baggy, apparently Fyvie was set to leave as Jimmy didn't even realise that he was on our books and wasn't dealing with his contract renewal. WM, worried and annoyed, stepped in and it was one of the falling outs between the pair. As I said, this is all speculation.
  12. The arse end of it though
  13. Whilst its great we have a player who grabs headlines like this, I agree, we don't want to see many of them. He needs time to develop and hopefully he's got a sensible head on him to know he shouldn't pay attention to things like this.
  14. 1-0 real (Raul), what a cock up by the keeper!
  15. United just went 1-0 up courtesy of Valencia. Good finish, but jesus does this guy ever smile or even celebrate his goals
  16. Valencia was very unlucky not to score there, great one two with Nani GS, Traynor really said that? What a fuck wit. The huns should be getting ridiculed left right and centre, much like we did, because they are an embarrassment.
  17. Aye his performances are generally pretty bad
  18. CSKA - United, very open game, Nani just had a diving header saved from a keeper who looks like Gary Barlow.
  19. I suppose so, but a more prominant position would surely benefit the club? Something thats more "in your face" so to speak. I know Hearts aren't the best example, but they have a wee shop (probably ths size of the Bridge Street shop) in the St. James' centre. I just feel that the club should look at doing something like that because I doubt that the footfall on Bridge Street is very high?
  20. I've never understood why it wasn't located on Union Street!
  21. http://www.afc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/clubNewsDetail/0,,10284~1832746,00.html Nice to see they've finally listened to the fans. Hopefully will allow a few more people to take advantage of any deals the club does by selling them from a more central location. Well done AFC
  22. Turning on their own now http://sport.scotsman.com/rangersfc/Rangers-player-Maurice-Edu-accuses.5752278.jp
  23. Thats fair enough Jagerdeen, results need to pick up soon, and there are signs of positivity (from what I can gather). But this is still the transition period (as Ajja reminded me whilst I was bored off my tits at the Falkirk game) and it takes a bit of time for all to get used to a new thing. Hopefully he's done this and the results will start to follow, because they really do need to. I don't want to have too much of a gap between ourselves and Hibs despite our traditionally strong finish to the season.
  24. Then it also raises the question mizer, do we have the quality to actually replace them? If dropping them, would it be to the detriment of the teams overall performance? Who would you bring in? Young, Duff? alternatively maybe, and its only my thoughts on this, they were 3 of the guys (Aluko can probably be included in that) who were most upset at JC's departure. Maybe they were sulking and McGhee was giving them time to get used to the new way of things (trying to show faith in them). I know it isn't how I would deal with the situation and I was certainly calling for them to be dropped (Miller especially) but in hindsight, maybe thats what was going on? I have to say, I've started to enjoy his radio interviews and especially reading about what he thinks of Maguire was very positive. We all know the guy has the potential, just needs to stop thinking he's made it. Hopefully McGhee is the man to drum that into him, otherwise Peterhead here you come Maguire!
