I think its incredibly positive that the youngsters seem to be ascerting themselves and dare I say it, cementing their importance in the first XI. McGhee's post match interview was good as well. Basically telling the reporter he was chatting shite
Hopefully Ifil will be back next week and fingers crossed the team can carry some confidence into the next game against the Arabs!
I was very impressed to see County joint top with QoS before the games today. Seen a couple of their games last season and my cousin was certain that if they didn't get promoted they would lose a lot of players and suffer. I know they lost a few, but it doesnt seem to have had a negative impact! (so far at least).
Re: Balloon incident:
I'd be fine with Miller going, Kerr less so but I have really grown to like Langfield, and his levels of consistency are incomparable with anyone else. Selling him would weaken our defence immensely.
I like this idea, survival of the fittest (or the hugriest). Hopefully it will work as the catalyst to spur players on. Whether or not the story is true or not, I'm sure McGhee already knows who he wants to replace. Those mentioned are far from being the most unlikeliest.
