  1. Something myself and Sharpie pointed out last night was that this wouldn't have happened under JC. Yes, it probably wouldn't have been fun or interesting and probably down right suicidal (granted this was the latter), but it would not have been a 1-5 defeat at home. I hope to god McGhee gets some support from the board because we fucking need investment and they have been messing about for 2 years now in not replacing Anderson and now if it couldn't be any clearer, IS THAT TIME. You get what you pay for, and to be frank as soon as that lineup was announced we collectively went, oh oh, what the fuck. We need a right back and we need a centre half to play alongside Zander/support him when he's not playing! I'm embarrassed, and grateful I wasn't there. AFC Board, wake the fuck up.
  2. I did try, just for you Now enjoy the game!
  3. Fear not cts, its just pre 12 o clock/lunch blues, once its after lunch time, you'll feel the buzz. I feel exactly the same way as you do, in fact, i've never felt so unexcited for a start of a season and I have no idea why. But, these Euro nights are the ones we always dream about and get excited about. Yes, its not against a big name team, but if successful, who knows where we'll end up. Anything can happen and many a beer shall be drunk! If I was in Scotland, I would be going, no question, first competetive game of the season. Time to get behind our team! COME ON YOU REDS! :ultras: :ultras:
  4. I noticed that earlier TF and thought, if only...if only...
  5. A lot of unecessary stuff in there. Anyway back on topic. I didn't like Ferrari when he drove for them, so I guess its back to the old way. But hopefully they'll still fail He had some outstanding drives, but at the end of the day was a cheat. I don't like it or condone it so I now hope even more than before that Button holds on to his top spot. I also see that BMW are not going to be competing in F1 next season.
  6. So he's scored his first goal? About time and good on him, hope its the first of many!
  7. Apparently MM said in a press conference today that he is more hopeful than positive Diamond will make the game tomorrow. I really hope he makes it, we really need him to be fit for the whole season. What would that leave us with? Foster - holm? - Considine - Mulgrew
  8. IN/OUT: Out PREMATCH: My house MATCH: Hopefully Sharpie's with a stream POSTMATCH: Home
  9. I see he's officially signed for them now. From the BBC:
  10. Those are my thoughts on the matter. As much as I loved the scraps, he won near enough every race, it just got boring. But I disagree, I have found it quite interesting this year. Plenty of different winners and I think it will be only a matter of time before Button is overtaken. I also think my enjoyment is because its back on the BBC, I have a hatred for itv.
  11. I found F1 incredibly boring with Michael Schumacher, but obviously with Ferrari not being as strong as before I don't think he'd make much of an impact. Apparently the injury to his (Massa) eye could threaten his career.
  12. Was thinking the same thing. Swallow Swallow must be in meltdown with the lack of activity snake mountain way!
  13. Nice of the club to keep us informed. Clearly they are aware that the fans are starting to get a bit fidgety with regards to the lack of positive movement at Pittodrie. Nothing we didn't really know has been said, but nice touch nonetheless.
  14. I've not had any problems starting new topics or with the site. In fact, the loading speed of pages has increased
  15. I'm sure its because it was different competitions. Look at Arshavin, wasn't able to play for Arsenal in the Champs league after he'd turned out for Zenit earlier on in the season.
  16. Completely agree (I know you hate those words) but it is true. Its been frustrating as hell, but I'm not holding MM responsible, these things happen. I had my doubts about the guy when he was quoted last week saying he wasn't sure about us. I hope we haven't put all our eggs in one basket, but we'll just have to wait and see. We do need decent signings in the critical areas, and fast.
  17. Oh well, at least we've finally made a signing, and yes, Bateman must be shite
  18. That is very true, but Hammel would still be useless due to his unavailability. As i've said before though, I view CB and RB as critical, despite it being open to debate, we have a player in Foster who could play LB.
  19. Apparently he's woken up from an enforced coma and is moving his limbs and communicating. Not talking yet though. Looks like a horrible injury! Good win for Hamilton yesterday, I wonder if his dad is getting annoyed at his girlfriend acting like a fanny in the pit!
  20. Hmm, obviously with any signing we make, we need them to be available for all possible games. I don't think LB is a priority either.
  21. My thoughts exactly! Certainly making the right noises. Hopefully we'll see a further improvement in his performances.
  22. Is he not a right back or is he a left back? I can't remember
  23. I personally don't give a rats arse about other teams, it worries me we haven't made a signing yet and have yet to address our critical defensive problem. I'm not overly concerned about the rest of the team, in comparison to our defence at least, we really need to get a decent partner for Zander and a right back.
  24. I don't care that he's rejected us before, but by all accounts we need a RB and quick fast. We know he can do a job in the SPL, its not like players rejecting us has been a problem before.
  25. So.....have we signed him yet or what?
