  1. Terrible mistake by foster for the equaliser. City had united on the ropes from then on and luckily tevez hit the post!
  2. He was shocking on Monday as well. Not the type of performances we need to be seeing from our captain. I was very impressed with Langfield on Monday as well so glad to hear it sounds like he's carried it through to this game.
  3. Seconded. I miss them
  4. Aye it does worry me. But does Giggs play well for the whole 90 mins these days? Certainly not a bad option of him and Fletch. What gone wrong with Carrick this season? He's been woeful! I'm really not sure what sort of reception Tevez will get tomorrow. As much as I liked him, he's a city player now, and spoke a fair amount of shite in the press!
  5. Bb what's your prediction for tomorrow? Can't say i'm everly confident. Though having adebayor out increases united's chances.
  6. Hiring Mcghee was a sideways step at best.
  7. Thank fuck for that! That was some truly depressing radio. Sounds like Ruddy had some game for Motherwell today.
  8. Can't listen to it for some reason, it says i'm outside of the UK!?!? just managed to get radio scotland on the go.
  9. Not been able to get the game on the web, I take it as the score is still 0-0, that it is horrendously pish poor and we've had no shots on target yet?
  10. Wasn't the worst game of football. Good to see the huns stutter again killie should have won it, invincible missed a sitter.
  11. I'm glad he's come back and hope he's able to take part today. We knew there was a liklihood of this happening and whilst all parties have behaved somewhat immaturely, the club should have prepared for this over the summer....
  12. Ffs this is just going to get worse, and we'll be the ones to suffer as what entertainment we get from some games will evaporate.
  13. Good turn around by the arse, shame the huns have equalised tho
  14. Taken from MAD. I always find TRA's articles spot on and quite amusing. Hope Ed doesn't mind.
  15. Only had the game on in the background BB but when I saw Carrick being subbed I figured he must have been having a stinker again. Good to see Scholes score with his head Very valuable 3 points for united, Turkey is always a bastard of a place to goto!
  16. Oh aye, he clearly wasn't 100% but he still managed to burn pace on a few occassions.
  17. I thought Miller had a header saved off the line?
  18. Certainly didn't look very injured last night, and I certainly agree, if Aluko had his heart set on this mickey mouse tournament, he'll be very disappointed and probably end in tears. I hope he's mature enough to know the club will allow him to leave for the African Cup of Nations and this is a minor set back! We need him big time at the moment. We did nothing yesterday until he, Pawlett and Maguire came on. I was pleasantly surprised how he and Maguire seemed to link up (albeit it for the last 10 minutes).
  19. Thanks for clarifying that for me! Whole situation does amuse me. As Kowalski said, its quite the circus these days. Missed the race on the weekend, I heard it was quite a climax?
  20. When I heard about this the other day I thought it was a joke. Renault have made a complete balls up of this. Why has it taken so long to come to light?
  21. I certainly agree with the last bit of your second paragraph. The players certainly seemed to treat it like a friendly until they suddenly realised that they werent going to win it without some effort. Had Mackie's effort gone either side of the keeper it was in, great touch and accuracy (i.e. it was on target) in the shot.
  22. Agree with the comments about the midfield. We really need a player with bite and i had hoped that kerr was going to be that man. Shame the team took so long to realise they had to farm a win,we actually looked ok going forward. Ref was a complete farce of a man. Can anyone tell me what happened between the falkirk players in the first half?
  23. I'm with fj on this. As much as i hate those jambo cunts, hearts away is probably my favourite fixture. Rather them than having to goto places like killie every week!
  24. I certainly gather from what he said that it sounds like they were just out of our budget rather than their lack of playing ability. From the players we were linked with/chasing, the quality appeared to be there. But I find it strange that the budget appeared to fluctuated over the past few months, and what sort of budget the board had actually set? I suppose there is no point in dwelling on it, as its passed and we're disappointed. But it just seems really weird.
  25. Whilst its good to hear that he's getting players early (proactivity, always good) its surely partially down to him/the club, why we've fucked up in recruitment this summer. As someone mentioned in another thread, its been a fail of epic proportions. So really, thats the least they need to be doing that to make up for it. Our squad is threadbare. Hopefully we can ride it out. At least there were no emergency duff and young signings.
