  1. How did he play? Surely we won't be linked with him anymore now that JC and JN have gone?
  2. Mizer, I'm sorry but I completely disagree with you. JC showed us plenty of commitment, and we know, had he got offered the chance to manage a bigger club, he would have jumped at the chance, much like Dingus would and clearly is still holding onto a faint hope. There is no way he will be at the club after 5 years if he is appointed. Yet he's supposed to be one of us and is holding the club to ransome?!? I will support him if he's made manager but by fuck, I'm not happy about it and he's making an arse out of us and the club.
  3. Exactly, surely we want someone that is 100% committed to the cause, and its quite obvious for all to see (I don't blame him) that he wants the choir boys anonymous job. Does make you wonder who else that is remotely qualified is on that list
  4. I think this is what frustrates me about the whole affair. It makes me feel like we are desperate, which we probably are as they want to get the right man. I'm just not convinced he is the right man.
  5. Body in the boot.
  6. I'm not sure if I'm happy with that really, Celtic's reject, but I guess that was always how it was going to be.

  8. I thought Mowbray was 1st choice? And they were mulling over the fact they had to pay a million in compensation to West Brom? But since Coyle and Martinez have said now, thought maybe they should go back. I'm not really that fussed though, I just want us to get a decent manager!
  9. I would agree, and I'd hope the club appoint the right man to inspire him, but the problem is, only Scott Severin knows who is going to be good enough to do so.
  10. So when on thursday were we finding out about our new manager? I must have missed it
  11. We need a CB and fast. Mind you, we need a manager first Cheers and good luck at St. Midden, but not against us

    Summer

Going on a trip with uni mates for one last session and planning on going to Mull for a few days, has anyone been and got any recommendations? Hopefully going to get some surfing done, but I've heard the currents are quite strong there. Cheers
  13. Not exactly what you'd want fans to be saying about any potential manager. You'd have to question the calibre of the manager if it gets statements like that out us.
  14. So, D-day Jager I see Smetlic have had talks with Mowbray last night so that should clear the path for McGhee to come to us surely? I'm still unsure if this would be the right move, but I trust WM that he will do the best for the club and make the right decision to hopefully take us forward as a club. Boothroyd would have been a good candidate I think, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
  15. Sadly no, booked to goto Hungary and Serbia only between the 8th-15th July becaus TC has a job and couldn't stay longer! I also think my liver would have taken a severe pounding if I was in Eastern Europe for longer than a week I still can't wait though.
  16. Can't be Adam, he actually had reasonable debate some of the time! I just wish we'd hire someone, because this is getting on my tits. The sooner the tims hire someone, the better.
  17. Thats a very good point actually. I'm quite surprised that Smeltic haven't actually sorted this out already. But it certainly makes sense since we've not heard a peep.
  18. Was told the same thing today. A bit indifferent if its true. Would prefer if we went for someone outside the box so to speak, and Aidy Boothroyd would have been a good shout.
  19. Ouch, didn't realise there would be teams of that calibre!
  20. Very good read, Can't argue against it at all. Its nice to read something that doesn't sensationalise his departure and slate the club.
  21. Well to be fair, today I really wasn't worried about. It was a win win situation for me in my eyes anyway. Huns lose, I get to laugh, Huns win (most likely) Aberdeen enter the qualification a round later.
  22. I suppose it shows how disillusioned some folk are and willing to have a name for the sake of it to give themselves, a boost. I wouldn't mind him a striking coach, as lets face it, we couldn't have done any worse than we have done, but his off the field activity would only add to the drinking culture at the club.
  23. You'd like to hope that the club have thought about this already, though with their track record, I doubt its even on their radar considering he has over 5 months left to go on his contract.
  24. Exactly. Incidentally, anyone watch to see how he got on?
  25. I think its a good thing he's an international. Though I am surprised he started!
