  1. A bit of fear of god never does anyone any harm. Agree wholeheartedly with what you’ve said here.
  2. Really need to start clicking and scoring goals. No win in 6 matches is frankly unacceptable, especially given some of the opposition we’ve played. Still, I’m going to cling to Pandas observations that there are signs things are coming together and it just needs a good result to bring it all to the fore. saints have played well this season so far, despite not winning so far. Most of their games have been pretty tight so given our inability to shoot anywhere but at the keeper, I think we’ll struggle. Defensively? Another few days for bates to get settled, whether it’s Gallagher or McCrorie that partners him; I’m not sure. Neither overly excite me. But maybe bates is the man to get the best out of the former? Hopefully hedges can make a cameo, it may make all the difference. out bed bed bed 1-0 saints, no dons scorer
  3. Ronaldos return to European football with man utd ended on a sour note tonight. Despite scoring, lost 2-1 in extra time to young boys.

    Ramsay

Thanks, Al. Definitely worth his own thread. I’d be looking for a new contract if I was us, want to make sure we don’t fuck our selves over in the future. They’re dreaming if they think they can get him for a fraction of the price.
  5. With you on that one. Although it will take time for all players to get used to each other’s styles / strengths.
  6. I see in the gossip column today they’re touting Ramsay for a move to the EPL. Everton and west ham interested.
  7. So what is the striker coach doing if our strikers aren’t actually firing? I had high hopes for him, misdemeanours aside.
  8. Rumour has it that Hedges was back in training today? Would be a massive boost, although not sure I'd try him against this mob.
  9. Two wins on the bounce for 'Well and two draws for us have let them catch up to us pretty quickly. Minus the hibs game, they've not been overly high scoring, but our defence was leaking like a sieve so really not sure how this is going to play out. Will the newbies make that much of a difference? Fingers crossed. Hopefully Bates will rectify a lot of what was wrong at the back. Need to try and get some decent service to our strikers, especially from the wide areas as they're pretty packed through the middle. Our defence will have to be on their toes as they were pretty resourceful and harassing for their equaliser and eventual winner against Livi. Out Bed Bed Bed 2-2, Bates and Ramirez
  10. Superb result! Didn't think we'd be in this position tbh.
  11. Never really seen much of Ruth, is he any good? Obviously the club doesn't really think so, hence him going on loan, but be interested to see what others think.
  12. Really? I've not had any issues bar when the maintenance was being carried out. Could you let us know if it's still happening tomorrow? Cheers
  13. All part of the summer rebuild
  14. Too fucking right.
  15. Well, Scotland are truly pish. Good goals but they cut through very easily.
  16. Looks like it
  17. We also can’t afford to let him go. He is our only creative source
  18. I know we're going to have to be patient, but not beating one of the poorest sides in the league at home isn't acceptable. Wasn't acceptable under McInnes and it won't be acceptable now. I hear we played one up front, at home, against them? Again. Sort it out Glass. Show that you have some sort of game plan / philosophy. Unbelievably heavily reliant on Hedges coming back to provide any creativity whatsoever. It's a huge risk.
  19. Is the right answer. The huns are the virus.
  20. Very much this. His best days are past him and would appear to have very little self control. We don’t need that type of bampot in our team. all these transfers, just a shame we weren’t able to execute them before being pumped out of Europe. I know there’s a bigger picture, but currently I’m not seeing what our identity is.
  21. Had this drafted, thought I’d done it last night ? county have had a pretty tough start to the league so hopefully we’ll continue the pain for them. I’m guessing Watkins will be making his first appearance in red (guessing Cardiff dropped that shite) . We’re down to the bare bones defensively, will Longstaff be cleared to play if signed? anyway, tough prediction this one, but I’d hope we’d be good enough to beat them. out bed bed bed 1-0 dons, ramirez
  22. This was the example I remember, Jeff Astle: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/nov/02/football-and-dementia-players-who-died-with-or-are-living-with-the-disease-england-1966
  23. Okay with this signing. I don't think he's what's going to give us what we need (a goalscorer) but he'll be good back up to JET I think. Maybe a bit pacier but not necessarily as good technically. Also rumours from Scott Burns that we're Matty Longstaff, which would be a very interesting signing (guessing Ferguson replacement)
  24. Huge opportunity missed tonight, very frustrating. I turned off after the third goal so didn't witness our token penalty. From what I saw, we were shite. A bit of urgency in the second but no real quality and JET looked completely isolated who was trying to do some things but got crowded out. I think it was Slim said, I don't know what our game plan was, nor the style of play we're trying to achieve. Just doesn't seem to be any real cohesion. I said I think we're going to be erratic this season, and tonight was very much the negative side of that.
  25. Not long turned it on, but we are awful. Has it been like this the whole game? I remember seeing some fud on Twitter saying they’re a poor st. Mirren ?
