  1. Rory Gallagher - Bullfrog Blues
  2. Eric Clapton & Mark Knopfler - Same old Blues
  3. Surely we wouldn't be ablt to get Ferguson jnr even if we wanted would we? I would love Deano back as a coach, I think he'd be able to teach our strikers a thing or to as well. Lets face it, he hasn't got much to live up to! But I wouldn't take him as manager, too big of a risk.
  4. PM please Jager!
  5. How can anyone even consider Hughes? Fuck that, I'd hope our board had a bit more sense and imagination than that. I still maintain I do not want another SPL manager, but obviously I think that we will end up with one
  6. Oh man, the first time was when those the boobs got bitten (very nice) then that was just excruciating. Even though you knew it was going to happen, it still didn't take the sympathy pain away!
  7. I watched that for the first time last night, hilarious stuff. Wouldn't watch the mother fucking thing in my mother fucking lifetime again though
  8. It could be another possibility McMaster, but I have a feeling that it is most likely that it was shop window football than anything else. Jimmy was never one to shy away from it, so I don't think he would have changed his stance on having a go at Seve. But maybe he was sick of the style of play?
  9. Its a very valid point. Show's his professionalism I guess.
  10. Fair enough. I couldn't really care less to be honest, for my points mentioned earlier, but yeah I have read some of it ( from both sides). As you say, time to move on, its happened, we need to look towards the future now and re-unite as a support.
  11. Aye Aluko's sister got mentioned when we first signed him on loan. it is probably the only reason, but who cares, as I mentioned when he got the England u-20 call up, its good that we have players of this calibre at the club!
  12. Who's greetin about him going? I thought most folk, unless ferverent JMGers felt indifferent about the situation? I know I certainly felt that it was probably time for him to go, providing they make a suitable appointment as his replacement.
  13. Blimey, thats quite impressive! Two countries after him. This bit amused me though
  14. Good article though he shoots himself in the foot with that penalties comment!
  15. Amen brother. As I've stated in other posts, as long as we see the real seve I'd keep him at the club. Obviously there are no guarantees of that but hopefully the new management team will provide him with inspiration to strive forward.
  16. That really would be an interesting turn of events? Any names/consortium's being touted?
  17. Indeed, I would say that sums up Seve's recent performances, but fuck if I care, it helped us get back into Europe! Anyway, As you mentioned earlier in the thread, I would like to see Pawlett and Paton establish themselves. I was chatting to TC about this yesterday, and we were both genuinely excited at their future prospects in our line up. I'd like to see them push on and eventually establish themselves as regulars. I'm glad JC blooded them, because the few youngsters he has nurtured have been pretty good, so fingers crossed their progress will continue. I would like a new CB alongside Zander and if Vidal manages to stay, I would be happy with him playing there as he has proved me wrong after a very shakey start. I don't think we'll be getting in another striker as I don't think we'll be able to afford it and I'm happy with a Miller/Maguire partnership but a RM is a priority!
  18. As I said in the Seve thread, if we get the real Seve which showed up for the past couple of months, then fantastic, but if the we see the lazy sod that we had for most of the past couple of season he can take a running jump. Who knows, maybe this new manager might be a better people person than JC and actually motivate him to get back to his best again? Clearly he can still play, because he has been outstanding recently.
  19. Well said. I don't think we should be going for anyone in the SPL because I don't think it will be a step forward. McGhee was a winner as a player so he does have the winning mentality, but I just don't think he's consistent enough. Whoever comes into our club, I will give them my full support.
  20. Thats what I thought!
  21. Can't disagree with any of that. Thanks and good luck!
  22. Was he not terrible at both Coventry and Leeds?
  23. Went for McLeish, I don't know enough about Black to be confident about him. Obviously I would have loved Darren Ferguson however that ship has long since sailed
  24. They had nothing to play for though. I didn't expect much from hivs, I expected more from the home support though! I thought we'd break the 15k mark. Oh well. Happy days nonetheless!
