  1. Good to see they were only level for all of 3 minutes Btw, anyone see the Hibs attendance yesterday? 6350?!?!? Truly pathetic, I thought they always got at least 10,000 for an SPL game? Anyone catch the PSV - Ajax game today on ESPN? Some match! 33 shots on goal, of which, 24 on target. Shame it ended 4-3 though.
  2. Don't worry, no-one is stupid enough to pay that much for him. On his day Miller is a great forward, but it seems to occur less and less now. I was hoping that the change in manager might reignite his passion. It is early days yet, but I don't see it happening, just doesn't seem to be bothered. As someone else said, i'd be surprised if McGhee saw much of any cash made from a sale.

    Andy Murray

Why would Federer drop out? I think its great the three of them battling it out between each other, so I'd hope he doesn't. Obviously though, I'd prefer it if Murray got a major tournament win under his belt. Just to ruffle a few feathers.
  4. Journalism at its best. I'd be extatic if we got that for him. Oh and I'd like Josh Walker back on top of that please
  5. Miller was woeful yesterday. If he puts that much effort in the next couple of games I hope to fuck MM will drop him. You can't even blame it for being marked out of the game or lack of service. The smeltic defence didn't even have to worry about marking him because he never went to the ball. Miller must do better.
  6. Can't say I share your optimism, but hell, I live in hope
  7. Can't say I disagree with any of your comments Marky. I was glad to see Paton come on and I hope it makes Maguire think a bit. Personaly, I thought Miller was our worst performer today. I expected a lot more from him, some effort at least. I'm going to go for Langfield as my MOTM, some vital saves, but Aluko would be a second choice.
  8. Joke performance in the first half. Second was better, but Maguire needs to get a grip. He was crap, as was Miller and Mackie. Kerr didn't have the best of games either. But at least we didn't concede anymore in the second half. But we need a right winger and right back as soon as possible! I don't know what Miller thought he was doing today, clearly not a lot, the one moment that summed up his performance to me today was when Aluko won the ball in the second half and going down the left wing, had Miller made a run, he could have had an opportunity at goal, but no, did nothing. I hope Zander is ok.
  9. In/out: out Pre match: mates flat Match: some boozer in london Post match: hopefully the free running contest in london.
  10. Good article, going to be hard to see if he can pull any of it off but certainly making the right noises.
  11. My thoughts exactly. Prior to those events I wouldn't have battered an eyelid at him being named captain. I'm not so sure now though. We'll have to see I guess

    Summer

    Well done Andrew!
  13. Agreed but alas it seems to be the Aberdeen boards way, its not like Hart's case is a stand out one. We should have replaced him by now, but hopefully, we've just replaced Anderson, so by that logic, we have to wait till Jan before we get his???
  14. Nice gesture by the club. Surprised we can afford it but hey ho good on them nevertheless! Mizer, does this mean Ally will buy the beers
  15. Yaassss the broom cupboard is back! Well done AFC, I hope he proves to be a great success.

    Summer

It was nice a sunny in London today as well How long are you in Berlin for?
  17. Don't count your spring chickens just yet! Wait for the broom cupboard/trophy room photo
  18. Noticed that on BBC earlier today as well. Seems like he would be keen on first team football and doesn't think he would get the chance to impress Mowbray.
  19. Yasss Ajja's unbridled optimism is back! The season has begun
  20. I daren't say a word! I hope the club actually pull this off.
  21. Thanks for the imput SwindonFan! I wasn't at the game but it certainly sounded like he shored up our non existant/shakey defence. We've been crying out for a centre back for years, especially one that knows how to defend, which by the sounds of things he can do. As Aberdeen fans, we never believe anything until we see the player in our "broom cupboard" or more recently the trophy room signing the contract!
  22. Seems like AFC premium seem to be woeful at writing as well. The usual Chris a.k.a "Phil McGuire" Maguire mistake. Nice to know they know our team.
  23. I don't disagree, but I was more alluding to the point that our defence was non existent and to me that was our priority. But I'm glad he's at the club, as Bossu provided me with one of the worst goal keeping performances in a Dons jersey
  24. MODS delete this thread before anyone from Plymouth get wind of it Hopefully this will give the team a bit of confidence after the embarrassment and disgrace of the previous two weeks. By all accounts sounds like we should try and sign the majority of the trialists. How did that boy from Kingston do? Also, what system did we play? Edit: Just seent he goal on SSN, haha no chance that was Millers goal! I don't think his header was even on target before the deflection knocked it goal bound. Seemed like a decent turn out of Reds and Tigers.
  25. Glad it sounds like he had a good game anyway. Certainly wasn't a priority but hell, if he's better than Bossu, thats more than fine by me! Good luck to him.
