  1. Jute watches the Dons and Scott Brown leaves shortly after, coincidence? I think not! It's a shame, in principle, it should have been a good move, but it hasn't worked out (probably too much baggage and ego). Just hope we see a change in tact at the club, this year has been painful and we've looked completely lost. Time for another reset.
  2. Is Watkins out for the season or just up until the split? That would be a huge boost. Slightly depressing that our season potentially hinges on him.
  3. Fuck, didn't realise we didn't have a game for nearly two weeks. Really hope Goodwin uses it to knock a few heads together. This team really need to get their shit together.
  4. We're pish, but they're not infallible . This could go either way to be honest. Exactly the type of fixture we need to galvanise the team or it could break us. Really not sure which way I'm leaning towards at the moment. Probably the latter. Do we have our injured players back for this one? I've not really paid much attention apart from watching most of the shit show yesterday. Out Bed Bed Bed 3-0, no dons scorer
  5. Jesus, that's depressing
  6. Sakes, what happened to trying to break the stereotype of not being able to do more than one thing, Jute?!?
  7. The return of Jute? hearts’ forms hasn’t been great, but secured a victory on the weekend, whereas we’ve still be middling. Need our midfield to be on form with scrappy do (devlin) back to form for them. Be interesting to see how Goodwin starts to try and make us harder to beat. Need Bates to find some sort of form again. out breakfast wfh wfh 2-1 hearts, Ferguson
  8. Only section available apparently, that’s pretty good going.

    War

So what are everyone's thoughts on how likely actual breakout of war in Eastern Europe is? Is this going to be the next flash point to create a regional war or will the West (and the rest) let Putin take Ukraine apart, bit by bit? Plenty of reasons why Putin is doing it, and he's never made any secret of wanting to bring back the USSR. Feel awful for the Ukrainians, they deserve their own country and are being used as a pawn by two former super powers. Hard to see it going to anything but conflict, Putin's ego wouldn't allow it. He's come too far now. Guess the next question would be, where / how does it stop?
  10. I see you're making a comeback Jute (not for this one)
  11. No complaints here, happy to see him stay on for longer.
  12. Very impressed to read be went straight into the dugout. Good on him, precisely the dedication I want to see from a manager. Will have to try dig out the sport sound podcast and give that a listen, Al. A few folk have said he speaks very well.
  13. That’s my perspective too. I’d like to hope he can fulfil a role at the club (sorry jute).
  14. Another away game (yay). Hoping that another week under the tutelage of Robson and co, they have a better understanding of what they want from them. Well aren't better than us (on paper) but we really need to stop that prick van Veen scoring against us. Has he scored against anyone else? Their form is equally as shite as ours, however they will be buoyed by their win in the cup. Out Bed Bed Bed 1-1, Ramirez
  15. Wehey, we didn't lose.
  16. Sounds like we're putting up a decent response after that horrific start.
  17. Is Ramsay a good full back though? I don't actually think he is. In fact, he's awful at defending and decent going forward. Regardless, I agree, I hope we see some of the other youth getting a shot. Certainly Robson will know better than most of what they might be capable of.
  18. Fuck knows how this is going to go. No manager, Simmie and Robson in charge and players confidence / trust completely shot. Their results in feb have been all over the shop, whereas we've just been shite but we are better at home. Don't think i'll be bothering with it tbh, work is more appealing. Out Breakfast Work Work 1-1, Ramirez
  19. Merged
  20. And I thought I was being pessimistic on my prediction
  21. Sakes, 2-1 them was actually my first thought and I changed it to try and be optimistic. It's getting harder and harder to get up for these games. Season well and truly over. Fully expect us to go into a relegation battle. Out of interest, why did Ferguson go up into the stands? Shite start to the sunday, crazy winds here in WLG due to offshoot winds from a cyclone. Only positive is that it hopefully washes the those around parliament away.
  22. Huge game this weekend. If we can put in a shift like the second half, ideally not being 2-0 down before playing, then we’ve got a chance. Naturally being away goes against us, but surely our away form has to change at some point? out bed bed bed 2-1 Dons, Ferguson and besuijen
  23. Meeting coincided with the second half so missed it, but didn't expect to read what I have done. Suppose the result is as predicted, but good to read we'd got back into it. My tuppence worth on their first two goals. Woods, WTF (should have got that) and second, well that was just unlucky. Well apparently rested players tonight? So we'll be in for a game on Saturday.
