  1. Exactly. Incidentally, anyone watch to see how he got on?
  2. I think its a good thing he's an international. Though I am surprised he started!
  3. How do you know the designs AFC would come up with would be any better? They must have done the sums and come to the conclusion that this makes them a more sustainable and regular income? I'm no economist, but I was under the impression that they struck the deal to do exactly that.
  4. Ah thats the one
  5. quite a decent line-up for Sziget, I'm quite gutted that its on at the same time as Exit, though some of the bigger acts are obviously the same.
  6. Its certainly been my general feeling on the matter. Knew JC had to go but with all the names touted around, I was completely at a loss as to who would take us further.
  7. Did Man United not have an inverted version of it a few years ago? Only one I can think of a similar design.
  8. My thoughts exactly, wouldn't look out of place in JJB.
  9. I think it looks terrible.
  10. How do you know he'd be ours?
  11. I was just thinking, how's this possible
  12. See, this is the thing, and the point I think I was trying to get at either in this thread or another, having an internationalist in our squad, not only enhances his profile, but surely that of the clubs surely? Maybe I read too much thought into this, but surely it shows the calibre of the club (he hopes)?
  13. Well done to the guys for being pro-active about this and hopefully putting an end to it all. I hope we have many years of them to go. Was there not talk of Langfield extending his deal?
  14. P&J were reporting this morning that he's chosen to play for Nigeria.
  15. I like what you did there But I don't think it says much when you are comparing him to another "bear". He certainly doesn't sound like the sharpest tool in the box!
  16. Rory Gallagher - Bullfrog Blues
  17. Eric Clapton & Mark Knopfler - Same old Blues
  18. Surely we wouldn't be ablt to get Ferguson jnr even if we wanted would we? I would love Deano back as a coach, I think he'd be able to teach our strikers a thing or to as well. Lets face it, he hasn't got much to live up to! But I wouldn't take him as manager, too big of a risk.
  19. PM please Jager!
  20. How can anyone even consider Hughes? Fuck that, I'd hope our board had a bit more sense and imagination than that. I still maintain I do not want another SPL manager, but obviously I think that we will end up with one
  21. Oh man, the first time was when those the boobs got bitten (very nice) then that was just excruciating. Even though you knew it was going to happen, it still didn't take the sympathy pain away!
  22. I watched that for the first time last night, hilarious stuff. Wouldn't watch the mother fucking thing in my mother fucking lifetime again though
  23. It could be another possibility McMaster, but I have a feeling that it is most likely that it was shop window football than anything else. Jimmy was never one to shy away from it, so I don't think he would have changed his stance on having a go at Seve. But maybe he was sick of the style of play?
