  1. I know, if you think about it, we've not actually lost many games in the league under JC at all. Was it not something like 4 games until the Caley debacle? Or am I making it up. Its uninspiring this season though, as most have been uber bore draws.
  2. I think that echoes the sentiments of the majority of fans quite well. Well done Stuart!
  3. Indeed, there is no point in comparing it to last season as we were involved in a good few more games. And the highlighted bit sums it up for me. We're playing shite football, and have done for the vast majority of the season. Someone tried convincing me in the pub last night that Aberdeen are doing well in the league (not a fan of SPL football), and he couldn't understand why I was diagreeing with him. Considering that we were playing in 4 competitions last season, we should be doing a lot better this season, but we're not. For one reason or another we are just barely stuttering across the line.
  4. so when's he signing then?
  5. That was Tim Bakens.
  6. But this all costs http://www.codeodor.com/images/money!.jpg[/img]
  7. No-one bar jimmy say's that. A fan is a fan at the end of the day, they have their right to express their opinions. It is an opinion for that very reason, we may not agree with it, but that is what they are entitled too.
  8. You are probably correct, as Dutch clubs (Scum not included) generally handle their money well. I'm sure he'll be pish, but you don't know until you try and fuck, maybe some players might learn a thing or two.
  9. Indeed, I recall someone making this point. Its almost like you want two managers, a domestic one, and JC for the Uefa cup games. I wouldn't trust any manager we could afford (or likely to get in as a replacement) to take us into Europe, and have the same success that JC, but I don't trust JC in the SPL or cup competitions.
  10. Fucking hell, a belgian and an ex scummer. What is the world coming to!
  11. See, I'd disagree with this as I don't want the weegia to be in the know of this. They are going to be laughing their shits out at this. Whilst I don't disagree with your right or anyone's for that matter, to protest. I just don't see what it's going to achieve. I will however, reserve judgement until after the game before thinking its a daft idea. As I said, I don't know what its going to achieve, because the board will not sack JC because of a few fans going up in arms. The weegia will be against us so I just don't see how we, as Aberdeen fan's are going to come out with our heads held high.
  12. Likewise on both counts.
  13. My thoughts exactly. Lets just hope they actually take these words and believe it themselves! COME ON YOU REDS! Personally, I felt our chances of third or thrid were gone after we drew with St Midden
  14. My thoughts exactly, I think Dave_min has the closest to the team that I want, but i'd rather we blooded a youth player at RB than Mair! Cos he ain't no right back!
  15. Suppose so, hadn't really thought about it like that. Our home attendance this weekend will be interesting.
  16. So about the same as we had for Smeltic away a game after the debacle last year. Show's the depth of the apathy amongst the supporters at the moment, because its been a few weeks since then.
  17. I think its pretty hard to disagree with what tlg1903 says, but who knows which Aberdeen team will turn up. You never know, might actually see us score two goals
  18. I remember nearly falling asleep there at the beginning of the season. Usually I would be happy with a 6 game unbeaten run, however, I think its the manner of these draws that I find most depressing. We don't appear to be fighting for fourth place at all. Just watched the Jambo-killie highlights because I was bored, and the commentator says, "and this win cements third place for hearts, and after the result at tannlice (ok I added that name in) moves them further away from dundee united". Whilst true, surely, since we're the third placed club, its us they are moving futher away from? Good work BBC.
  19. How many reds were there at Motherwell Ajja? It didn't look like too many from the highlights and pictures?
  20. Can't argue with that. I truly find it annoying how he lists it as an achievement, its not, its the not even the bare minimum for this club. We need to be competing for european spots (which we are at the moment) but with a bit more urgency and ferociousness, which just isn't happening. Hopefully if we get into the top 6, we'll still be challenging for fourth place as we raise our games against bigger teams...
  21. I agree with both names, either Aberdeen arenA or the Northern light Stadium.

    Andy Murray

Agreed, thats what I meant he doesn't have the British attitude. It works for him and I commend him for it and encourage him to continue. Still don't like the prick though
  23. I must say, the radio commentary didn't give that impression at all! Before the game I probably would have taken a draw given our form, but it just appears that our team doesn't really give a fuck anymore (i know its difficult from making such a comment whilst not being at the game). All huffing and puffing and no end product. Our winless streak certainly hints at that, but I suppose at least we're not losing. Its just frustrating when teams around us are stalling, we appear to be unable to take advantage of it. Great finish from maguire though! And re your point about 3-5-2, didn't hibs play with 2 up front? I thought it always made sense to have a spare defender to cope with an opposition team. But maybe thats just me. I'm not saying he's tactically inept, he just puzzles me.
  24. That has always been the most frustrating thing about JC, never learns from his mistakes. We all know we can't play 3-5-2?!? Why doesn't he! interesting read nonetheless.
