I must say, the radio commentary didn't give that impression at all! Before the game I probably would have taken a draw given our form, but it just appears that our team doesn't really give a fuck anymore (i know its difficult from making such a comment whilst not being at the game). All huffing and puffing and no end product. Our winless streak certainly hints at that, but I suppose at least we're not losing. Its just frustrating when teams around us are stalling, we appear to be unable to take advantage of it. Great finish from maguire though! And re your point about 3-5-2, didn't hibs play with 2 up front? I thought it always made sense to have a spare defender to cope with an opposition team. But maybe thats just me. I'm not saying he's tactically inept, he just puzzles me.

Indeed, he has a very un-British like mentality if you get what I mean. Actually has the winning mentality and willing to do anything to get it. I'd agree with this. To the average football fan, I would say the Scottish leagues get fuck all for coverage. The number of times when I visit my grandparents in SW london and open the paper on sunday to find nothing about us after a big game (outwidth the OF and occassionaly Hertz). But I would have thought most clubs would be keeping an eye on activities north of the border and managers would probably see it as a stepping stone.

He has had a fantastic season, I just hope he's with us long term. If JC goes in the summer (unlikely I know) he would probably take him with him. Fuck knows where we'd get a replacement keeper. The only problem Ive ever had with him is his kicking, but fuck me, does he keep us in games, yesterday being a prime example. Hopefully he'll get a shot at being Scotland keeper one day.

It was bloody annoying that it got called off! Was not happy in my hangover status. One thing I will say though, how nice is it not to have advert breaks!

Fair enough MA, as you quite rightly said, I don't want him as JC's replacement because I don't think he's that much better and I don't think any other SPL manager would do better. However, we need change, and JC has to go in the summer, the question still remains though, who would be a suitable replacement?

I know I was thinking the same. There was a lot of overtaking today which was great, then the weather came and spoiled it all. Absolutely crazy idea having it carried out at such a late time of the day. In hindsight, that extra hour cost them big time! Those final two laps that Button did were at some pace.

This is what I was alluding to in my previous posts and what concerns me. There is a general lack of urgency surrounding the team and its quite bewildering conserdering a)we've got fuck all form b) we can't score/try to score c) they owe it to the fans to make something of this season!

I'm not denying that, but it just worries me that we can't win and don't look like winning. When did we last score more than one goal? It sounded again like we couldn't even get the basics right (Mulgrew especially) and only started to play football when Aluko came on. I just find it all rather concerning.

You didn't listen to the game? Motherwell more than dominated, absolutely battered us in the first half. According to the ommentators, Macdonald had his first touch of the ball in about the 30th min Starting 3-5-2 was a disaster and the commentator rightly said this was madness and I think it was about then we went 4-4-2. Second half we played better, but it sounded like we were continually at risk at conceding on the counter attack.

Fair enough, but that doesn't win games, its the other end of the park that counts and we're absolutely shite at it. I just don't feel that there is much to be positive about AFC at the moment. Well done to Langfield for saving a point for us and well done to Maguire for scoring.

That was terrible listening. Sounded like we lacked almost a bit of everything, especially a cool head in defence! I'm not convinced we'll win another game this season the way we are playing. We cannot seem to score more than one goal anymore, almost like we used all our lives up in January.
