  1. I'm pretty confident we can, don't know about the scoring a bucketload, but i'm feeling a lot better about the Dons now after the games against HIV's and Tim's. I've even gone as far as saying I think we'll be 3rd by December Its more tongue and cheek, but I don't see why we couldn't do it if our strikers actually start scoring a goal every so often. Anyway, COME ON YOU REDS!
  2. According to one of the guys on MAD who went along to the game, everyone had a good game, bar our strikers. He said Maguire covered probably every blade of grass with no effect, and there was little surprise from Wright in regards to why Miller never breaks a sweat over his place in the team. He also said Hodgkiss and de Visscher linked up really well. Maybe he's the best way to get JDV playing well? Having an actual footballer behind him? Anyway, good to see a few positives from the reserve team anyway.
  3. Would agree with most of what Maguire says, but despite these decisions, we are not creating or converting many chances. Therefore leaving us vulnerable to these SFA barstewards. Do the talking by putting the ball in the back of the opposition's net! I wish you every bit of luck!
  4. I'm trying not to dwell on this game. We just have to get it up the SFA by playing good football and winning games by scoring more than the opposition cunts. They'll be fucked then....Nice to see WM come out in the press against the SFA as well
  5. I read on BBC today that he has joined Oldham Athletic on a one month deal! (Richie Byrne that is).
  6. Agreed. Re other comments earlier in the thread, don't think Calderwood should be sacked on the back of this, if we're still where we are in December, then yes, but not now. I find it hard to get positive and up beat about Aberdeen at the moment, but I know this isn't going to last, our luck HAS to change. The team are good enough, and Calderwood has proved he can do it. I just wish they would all hurry up! Hopefully the international break will give them all time to reflect and a kick up the arse, because some of our team should be involved in the international setup. They have only themselves to blame.
  7. Fingers crossed, nice to have a good bit of news regarding AFC at the moment, despite only looking good as you said, in front of our first team "strikers"! But having said that, do our players not fly through training anyway
  8. I'd settle for that Guess we'll be able to work out by Christmas what sort of season we may have.
  9. Thought it was more of a Jambo cut Hopefully he'll turn good. Cannot be worse than that imposter of a goal keeper, Bossu.
  10. I was just going to correct you there Ajja
  11. Completely agree with that but its just very difficult to see where our next win is going to come from given our bad luck and our pathetic attempts at trying to win through possession. If we were to finish mid table, we'd then be lead the line "see where we came from though, this season was a success etc...."
  12. Was listening to your call after the game and someone actually made a very worrying, but good point, the quality of refereeing in Scotland is atrocious, but if we did relegate a match official everytime this situation occurred, we would have even worse referee's in control of our games. I still think though the persistent offenders should be punished through relegation though. If they know no matter what they do they will keep their position then it makes sense as to why they are so incompetent. Cunts, the lot of them.
  13. For the first time in my life I found no joy in the huns losing. It was a shite shite sunday!
  14. Aye Motherwell were murder last night. Painful viewing in fact, all I could think of was 52 weeks earlier.
  15. I thought Macdonald was supposed to be the attacking midfielder? Seve should be dropped for this game and yet again the usual pish from the management saying we should cope with other teams...why!
  16. I think its good managment to allow the misfiring strikers a chance for some confidence, but four weeks on the face of it seems a long time, however there is an international break during that period. Whether it works is another matter as I have no faith in Mackie and Miller needs to be dropper to give him a kick up his backside!
  17. Did we not have a tougher start to the league last season though? I would say that despite having more points on the board, we should not have lost to the teams we have done. Its pathetic. We were listening to Jimmy on the radio after the game on Wednesday, and when asked what he was going to do about the situation, he actually had no idea about how to turn things around. Just skirted around the subject and chatted shite. He couldn't give us an answer, and to say we played well going forward? Who was he watching? We had a Jambo with us and he couldn't believe how shite we were or even why we didn't bring on a sub in the 75/80th min. We have every right to boo this bunch.
  18. Bossu is worst keeper i've seen in a Dons shirt. Hell, Winters was better than him! I thought it was a blatent penalty, Seve was a moron, couldn't believe at the beginning we'd got away with it, only to see the linesman put his flag up. The officials were an absolute joke on Wednesday night, just as much as our clubs performance.
  19. Oddly enough, i'm alright thanks
  20. I don't think we'd even raise the funds to buy the club to be honest! Mind you the club surely couldn't be run any worse than it already is.
  21. I can either see us sneaking a draw or getting our biggest pumping under claderwood tomorrow. If anyone is in town (glasgow) tomorrow i'll be watching it at the Tollbooth
  22. Mizer, I tell you what, McDonald was the only one that look capable of actually getting in on goal. He was my stand out. Aluko whilst he put some good balls into the box left Mulgrew terribly exposed by a) not tracking back and b) giving the player way too much space. I have faith in McDonald after seeing him last night, he will come good. That aside, by christ were we awful!
  23. Sounds about right! Absolutely fucking typical.
  24. Completely agree! I'd take winning everytime. We need to get our home form sorted, a few wins under the belt and the players will not "fear" playing at Pittodrie. Hibs play "attractive" football and they are shite.
  25. Not a bad effort on the song front! I hope it gets sung
