I tuned in again before the first goal went in Then stayed tuned to hear an actual cheer at the end from the Pittodrie crowd. Such a novel experience I thought I better remind myself of what it was like.

Big style, but the few games I have been to and seen Macdonald play in, I'm quite convinced that he will become the next "Nicholson" if you will. Time will tell though. I think we all knew how good a squad we potentially had last season, just a shame we couldn't keep it together for the whole season and beyond.

I'd agree with that. However Iwulemo has scored a lot more goals than Miller has this season for his club has he not?

i'm just glad we got three points and more than one goal. Should give the players some much needed confidence at home. Lets just hope we have no more defensive fuck ups like last saturday this saturday!

Miller did not let the disappointment affect him at Pittodrie last night as Andrew Considine's 80th-minute opener and Sone Aluko's second three minutes from time gave Aberdeen a hard-fought victory in a wretched encounter. Calderwood said: “George Burley has plenty of options so it is up to him. He watched Lee on Saturday so he knows what he can do. “George told me Lee was in his thoughts a few months ago, so, while it is disappointing for Lee, he knows he is being considered. “It is up to him to keep battling away and keep up his form. “He was frustrated against St Mirren because the service was poor but I would have felt the same if I was him. SS when did I say that Pakistani's are the only muslims? Thats quite scary really. think we have been here before with zero(rip x) a luxury player we can ill afford, when we have a left back, who cant defend behind him (mulgrew is a midfielder, as once, seve was a GREAT midfider. not blaming either, blaming jimmy for not having a clue how to set up a team. aluko is great for 10mins tops in a game. mackie is pish but at least hes our colour o pish. I'm not saying there isn't racism at Pittodrie, but its less vocal, but some of that shite on that board disgusts me.

Indeed! Apparently Hughes was on Sultana saying that judging by the highlights Killie should have won I always struggle to understand the logic with the people who do the highlights, because they usually miss the most important stuff!

Just watched the highlights, they don't really show very much which i'm quite annoyed about. I'm sure I read somewhere that Miller and Considine had efforts blocked by Hammill late on? Seemed like Aluko was the only one that did anything.

SS Red, I think you'll find plenty of Pakistani's do actually like football. When I studied in Manchester, you quite often saw them wearing united and city shirts. Hell they even have their own Muslim league so to say they don't like football is way wide of the mark. AFC I think were trying to broaden the potential attendees which I see no problem with. Whats wrong with trying to attract a more diverse crowd when our crowd numbers are dwindling? Re Racism in the Aberdeen support, I've heard it once, directed at Szamotulski to which I told the guy to fuck off and he apologised.

All sounds quite positive! Lets hope it continues and I am very glad we got Hodgekiss an extended loan deal with us! Looks like a tidy player. Completely agree with that. I just wish they'd wrap him up in cotton wool until he finally got fully fit. He'd easily get a good run after that and would prove his worth.

As a few have said, its about time some away team got on the end of a drubbing at Pittodrie. I'd be more than happy with a 2-0 win for us! Though I can see us conceeding one as they seem to be scoring a few goals this season.

We've got Stuart Smith, we don't need another left back. Hopefully he'll get a chance to shine sooner rather than later.
