I'd agree with this, but I think that cup games are always a one off and the conditions most definitely played a huge role in events. Hamilton, no excuses, I wonder if the team thought they just had to turn up, so in that respect, it was probably good in the long run just to give them a kick up the arse. But we'll see if this is actually true, our team has gelled and has a good team morale about the place at the moment We'll just have to see what happens in the next few weeks.

BB, I would say Utrecht are a bigger club than probably NEC and Willem II but it would be a step down from us. Completely agree. I don't want this team to be broken up. They are starting to play well and actually win, what sort of ambition is that to break up a team that we've been praying for for years! Yes its not always great, but they've provided us with many highs. I think it would be a tremendous shot in the foot, unless, as TF says, it was silly money. Anyway, second spot, here we come
