  1. Did we not have a tougher start to the league last season though? I would say that despite having more points on the board, we should not have lost to the teams we have done. Its pathetic. We were listening to Jimmy on the radio after the game on Wednesday, and when asked what he was going to do about the situation, he actually had no idea about how to turn things around. Just skirted around the subject and chatted shite. He couldn't give us an answer, and to say we played well going forward? Who was he watching? We had a Jambo with us and he couldn't believe how shite we were or even why we didn't bring on a sub in the 75/80th min. We have every right to boo this bunch.
  2. Bossu is worst keeper i've seen in a Dons shirt. Hell, Winters was better than him! I thought it was a blatent penalty, Seve was a moron, couldn't believe at the beginning we'd got away with it, only to see the linesman put his flag up. The officials were an absolute joke on Wednesday night, just as much as our clubs performance.
  3. Oddly enough, i'm alright thanks
  4. I don't think we'd even raise the funds to buy the club to be honest! Mind you the club surely couldn't be run any worse than it already is.
  5. I can either see us sneaking a draw or getting our biggest pumping under claderwood tomorrow. If anyone is in town (glasgow) tomorrow i'll be watching it at the Tollbooth
  6. Mizer, I tell you what, McDonald was the only one that look capable of actually getting in on goal. He was my stand out. Aluko whilst he put some good balls into the box left Mulgrew terribly exposed by a) not tracking back and b) giving the player way too much space. I have faith in McDonald after seeing him last night, he will come good. That aside, by christ were we awful!
  7. Sounds about right! Absolutely fucking typical.
  8. Completely agree! I'd take winning everytime. We need to get our home form sorted, a few wins under the belt and the players will not "fear" playing at Pittodrie. Hibs play "attractive" football and they are shite.
  9. Not a bad effort on the song front! I hope it gets sung
  10. Scottish side of the family mostly support Aberdeen, got given a shirt when I was 10 from my Aberdonian cousins and haven't looked back since!
  11. Granted, but, its fan-fucking-tastic that we have signed a player with enormous potential, some of which we've seen in a few games he played for us. A player none of us thought we'd ever see at Pittodrie again and a player that fits into our side perfectly. Time will tell, but this is a major boost for the club/fans and I think the club should be applauded for it.
  12. Haha my thoughts exactly
  13. Completely agree. The fact that people even said that it looked like the team had never played together, was near enough true, its taken time, and they've gelled. Happy days! Lets hope the progress continues!
  14. Well done Clangers! Burley must have been drunk, does he not know the Scotland's manager's rule is NOT to pick any Aberdeen players Was he not involved in the squad recently though?
  15. JMO, did you email that guy I told you to email about the stirling bus? I think I will pop along to this one, not too far, though it is an absolute bitch of a draw.
  16. Completely agree. I am chuffed to bits with this, didn't have internet last night so the text from topcorner came from no-where! Cannot believe this, just the lift the supporters needed, hopefully the club will flog a few more season tickets now! Can't believe he actually phoned JC up, amazing, words cannot express how happy I am to see a player actually wanting to come back to Pittodrie. Good luck Sone! Sone Aluko, tra la la la la, Sone Aluko, tra la la la la la
  17. Oops. Ach well, I'm not complaining
  18. I think its a good start. Is it not certainly our most successful under Calderwood? Anyway, I think we can put that opening game down to the fact that the team needed a game to get under their belt to gell. They've done it and hopefully they can continue with this progress. As FJ says, 3 in 5 isn't bad, and ever so slowly, our strikers are starting to score. It would appear our defence is starting to get to grips with each other as well, I can only wonder, what happens when Zander gets back and we're still doing well? Anyway, its a good thing and I'm happy enough so far. Keep it up guys! on the transfer front, any news/gossip?
  19. I'd agree with that. Having watched it, I do think it was a penalty, the defender was a mess and was all over the place. It would appear that Miller's theatrical past has caught up with him. Hopefully he'll learn how to disguise any future dives better
  20. Thought our defence were pretty solid that game, Foster aside.
  21. you are correct oh wise one
  22. At least we don't have to worry about him anymore. Really didn't know what to make of the rumours. Great in the first few games then dire in the rest. Oh well Welcome aboard anyway!
  23. He's just trying to help them reach their goal
  24. Thank god there is no chance of that!
  25. The only one that sticks out in my mind is the 5-1 humping by Bayern this year . Though it was a good day out.
