Thats just it though, I don't care if he's better than his brother, its not the way the club should be going. If this is actually true I'll be raging because we should be looking forward, and there are more than three clubs in Scotland. It would just highlight jimmy's laziness. But as I said, i'll reserve judgement until if and when its comfirmed. Funnily enough, was on the DAFC.net board and they seem to have the same complaints with their manager. If they haven't played with him, he won't look at/sign them.

Read the same thing on mad, has to be a wind up, but wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
-
Just read that on BBC as well. As you said though, wages would most certainly be a stumbling block. However, you don't ask, you don't get.
-
Well from what I read into the pre hivs match build up on afc it would appear JC certainly hasn't had him in his plans since he left two weeks ago.

Tonights EE: Jimmy Lay off the local heroes
manc_don replied to mizer's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Huge rant, but quite amusing. -
Haha Padre had a laugh at me for that last week. Most spanish names are longer, maybe they were just lacking imagination to make it sound more interesting. Re Kalvenes, wouldn't mind seeing him play for the Dons, as you said, certainly been consistant for the Jutes.

That would make sense as I read somewhere he was at a Heracles game not too long ago. His team mate Gonzalo Garcia Garcia impressed me against Ajax the other day. Only scored 5 goals this season, but thats in 16 starts. His movement and link up play was great to watch though. Wasn't afraid of running at the defenders which was a nice change.

Whilst I wouldn't be happy about this at all, I actually thought midway through the game on sat that he was having a decent game (by his previous standards). I then had to sit for a second a ponder this outrageous thought. I realised it must be my eyes deceiving me and he was gash. Everyone can have a decent game every now and then, but thats not good enough for AFC. Jimmy C, don't be daft.

As much as that would please me, I just worry that the huns have been lucky as fuck ALL season, something would go wrong and it would continue
-
Haha yeah I know, I've been angry a lot lately and I'll give that a go. Seems like Celtic have finally expressed their rage too. Of course its in their best interests to make Rangers play that many games within a few days. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/7361606.stm

I don't know, does it

Never ever am I any of that Flemish stuff! Also, don't confuse tulip picking as my favourite past time with your own! We all know that's what you've been doing on your saturday's recently

Mizer, you know I am of many different nations

What an utter complete shambles. I sent an email to the SFA (asking them to forward it to the SPL as it appears they do not have an email address?!?!) complaining about the fact it makes a mockery of our league and nation that it is ok for some and not for others. I mean, firstly, we were denied an opportunity to postpone a game, and also, Celtic (not that I care, but for the purpose of arguments sake) a few years back had to complete their fixtures with no assistance when they lost in the final? Why the sudden change of heart. Hun Cunts.

I think its too late, and anyway, JC wants his booze trip to Oirland and Holland. I would prefer it than a few meaningless friendlies. However I also think its a tall, not impossible but probably improbable task, to finish above hivs this season.

That just makes it even more confusing. Nets an award and is released?

Shame it didn't work out but you won't be missed Jackie.

Chris Crighton in the P&J: Time for Calderwood to deliver
manc_don replied to mizer's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Funnily enough, I sent my first email on sunday night (last week) and heard nothing, sent another email this morning expressing my disappointment that they hadn't had the decency to reply, and received a reply within minutes from the reception saying it had been forwarded to the relevant department? I thought the feedback address would have been fine. Now the waiting game once again. -
Chris Crighton in the P&J: Time for Calderwood to deliver
manc_don replied to mizer's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Thats truly pathetic! Re: the article. Completely agree with it. I have sent yet another email to the club with regards to this. Yet to hear a reply from them. I told them to read his article in the P&J to see how the fans are feeling. I really hope I get a reply this time. It only seems to happen though when I am praising the club. -
Bit of a nothing story as we know this already, but oh well. Defender Jackie poised to quit Dons D-Day for veteran defender McNamara By Charlie Allan Published: 21/04/2008 IN TALKS: Dons defender Jackie McNamara could quit the club today. More Pictures THE Dons fear they may have to agree to release defender Jackie McNamara later today. Manager Jimmy Calderwood was staging crunch talks with the 34-year-old, who was allowed to stay at home with his family in Dunfermline when Aberdeen lost 1-0 to Celtic in the SPL in Glasgow. Calderwood admitted they are considering canceling the remaining year of McNamara’s contract with Aberdeen because the former Celtic skipper is unhappy at Pittodrie. Calderwood said: “We want Jackie to stay, but we will know if that can happen after we speak to him today. “Jackie asked to meet me on Tuesday and made it clear he has found it difficult since joining Aberdeen. “It’s a shame things have come to this because Jackie’s had a wonderful career. “He is very down on the back of what happened to him recently. “It hurt him that I took him off twice in big games. “I can understand that but I won’t criticise him because I have far too much respect for Jackie.†Calderwood told McNamara to take time off and discuss things with his family before deciding if he wants to call it a day with the Dons. Calderwood said: “The main problem is his family are settled in Dunfermline and don’t want to move up to the North-east. Jackie has found the regular travelling back and forth from Aberdeen and time away from his family tough to handle. “We don’t want to lose Jackie, but the next step is up to him. “If he’s not happy, for whatever reason, we won’t be too hard to deal with. “We certainly won’t be asking him to move his family to Aberdeen because his children are settled at school and things like that. “If he wants more time to think things through Jackie will get it. “But his heart has to be 100% with Aberdeen or else there is no point.†Calderwood hinted that McNamara is unlikely to be the last player under contract who could move. He said: “We’ve made some announcements already as far as team changes go, but there’s more to come.†One player who won’t be coming in is Dutch keeper Stefan Postma. Calderwood said: “I know all about Stefan and we are looking to sign a goalie, but it won’t be him.â€

As I said yesterday, I certainly didn't think he had the best of games yesterday. I can't remember from the game, but I was certain at the time thinking it was a stupid decision by the referee. But we all know what sort of game he had yesterday.
-
That was the crowd a fair bit before ko. As I said, there couldn't have been more than 200-300 people there.
-
Good on them, couldn't make out what was writen from the distance I was sat but I'm glad they did it. Well done
-
That he is, but I thought he had a poor game overall. Some of their decisions (not only against us but also them ) were shocking! The link for the "goal" is on youtube, type in there is a conspiracy against celtic you know or something like that.

Well said Zander, stick it to the weegie press cunts! Seen the replay on the net, but it wasn't very clear, so have to wait until I see the highlights en la beeb web.
