  1. Gonna hijack this thread for the game if that’s ok TLG as I think it sets it up nicely. not going to be the making of our season as that’s all over the shop, need to focus on trying to end as positively as we can , especially with the new manager in place. Still, as you say, the dhims are there for the taking but I’m not convinced we’ve the quality or nous to take advantage of it. Who knows, he might throw in a bunch of youngsters that step up to the plate and show some of the older guys how it’s done. out bed Work work 2-1 dhims, Ferguson
  2. Has he played for them yet? Still “amuses” me he’s in this thread
  3. We’re through, that’s all that matters. Nice that subs made a difference too.
  4. Had a look, his goal scoring record is pretty shite these days. I’d hope we could do better
  5. Haven't had time to read lately, but hoping with winter coming that that might change. Al, when is the final book in that Dutch series due out?
  6. What's he been doing lately? Don't hear much about him these days
  7. Shame, red shite are out ? City through in the end.
  8. I get that, but racism trumps it all imo. Kamara should have been allowed to do what he wanted (I know, I know). Nothing less is acceptable. They've shown once again that they're looking at this incorrectly. From the colonizers perspective.
  9. I know it goes against the grain of the thread, but it's still relevant. I can't believe they gave Kamara a 3 match ban. Seriously, the guy was racially abused, what is wrong with these people?!
  10. Which is actually even funnier, as that was the first All Whites game in something like two years from memory. They as a national team, never seem to have any games. Dortmund beating shitty at the mo, red scum and franco scum 0-0.
  11. Livi haven't been on the best run of form of late, and obviously got pumped by Celtic at the weekend. Last time out against us (at Pittodrie) we lose 2-0, a game which kinda summed our season up. A fumbling Lewis, shite team from McInnes, no proper strikers and no goals. Obviously this is SG's first game in charge and all the talk (understandably) has been very positive, so I am very intrigued to see what team he puts out. I doubt there'd be a magically change in quality of play, but who knows. He's got a few big calls to make. The draw has been favourable to us, so we really need to make this cup competition count. Out Bed Bed Bed 1-0 Dons, Ferguson
  12. Be interesting to see what changes (if any) he makes to the starting line up. Obviously he's a bit hamstrung at the moment, but given his intent on youth, it'll be interesting to see how many are promoted / utilised.
  13. Doing it in Wellington tomorrow too, 41 gun salute...
  14. Saints have been going about their business quietly, not scoring lots of goals, but regular wins and by small margins. So I can't see this being any different. We're still pish but hopefully we'll continue to see the youth getting a bit more of a run around. Ramsay was very promising on the weekend and it's clear some of the senior players are done. Will Glass be having a say on things now? In/out: Out Prematch: Bed Match: Bed Post Match: Bed Prediction: 1-1, Kamberi
  15. You're the first person I've seen say that about him. Personally, I don't think he'll cut it, as he's not progressive enough but how folk were blaming him for the poor performance yesterday surprised me. Especially since there are experienced pro's in that team who are massively under performing / past it. Seems like a nice kid, and I wish him well. I just haven't seen anything that makes me think he's what we need to take us forward. Caveat being, I didn't watch this game (just the highlights), it's more of a feeling I have generally speaking. Edit: Ramsay looks a player, good to see some excellent crosses getting played in. Decent effort from Ross as well. Actually seemed like we were wasteful from the highlights, but that'll be why they're in the highlights reel. Highlights:
  16. So I’m guessing there’s no need to bother with the highlights for this one then? Through to the next round, that’s all that matters. For now at least.
  17. I'm guessing he'll have eyes on the ground and plenty of video footage (if not a live feed into training). Obviously not ideal.
  18. Potentially a great appointment
  19. I had been tempted to write that myself. But was going full optimism mode...
  20. That sounds like complete BS. Given we all know how DM operates, if he spends that amount of money on a player, he played him regardless.
  21. Impressive stash there KD!
  22. You're probably right Jute, highly unlikely they didn't know. Just want a win, any win will do.
  23. Shite news, regardless of whether he was playing next season or not ?
  24. Last game was particularly tight against the Sons (Cosgrove pen), and both our respective forms are pretty poor. Obviously they've not played that much of late, but can see this being similar to previous fixtures, especially given our lack of attacking prowess. Really need something positive to come out of this season, so need to progress, any means necessary. Interesting to see if the attitude of the team changes now they know who the management team are going to be. Out Bed Bed Bed 1-1, Kamberi
  25. He’ll have my support, but I’m not happy about this appointment, not in the slightest. At a time when we needed to create unity, this isn’t the one.
