I think Duff will be fine for a squad player. The occassions I've seen him play he's been one of the better players on the park (not hard granted but still). I would definitely like to see Maybury signed up permantely.
I would say the season for me has been one of enormous highs and drastic lows. I'm sure this has been said but I couldn't be bothered trawling through it all. Its odd, because there has been no middle ground with us this season where our luck got us through. Something which occured a lot in the previous seasons.
Finally some news. As has been said, he's played well this season and I'm glad to see that he's actually decided to stay (through his own choice or not). Hopefully we'll bring someone in who thinks on the same wavelength as him and we should be one step closer to getting a stronger team for next season.
Just curious and pardon my ignorance, but who is a better manager full stop? How Anyone can claim that Paisley was a better manager is a bit of a mystery. Fergie has done MUCH more than him.
Haha don't tempt fate there! But I completely agree. I wanted Miller to stay but clearly he has no desire to do so. This season he has been good, and i wouldn't say any less, but the previous season's he's been absolutely dire. As you said, never wanted to come here in the first place so he can move on anytime now. Absolutely bored to death of this situation.
He never does. But to be fair, sometimes from a manager you do want him not to dwell on the shiteness and focus on the positives. Having not been at the game, I can't comment but it certainly didn't sound like it was the best. Although the commentators thought it was highly entertaining.
Completely agree, if he did this, he would actually be lynched and I'd would genuinely be surprised if he was THAT stupid. He should get sacked on the spot if he makes decision like that, it would be unforgivable. But even if he did, I would be certain the players would give it a proper go.
Completely agree. At the end of the day, we could still get three points and go further up the league, albeit by a place if we're lucky. But still, they are our bitter (spits) rivals, never do we want to lose to them, especially at home!
SS next to away fans of Section Y for me. Been to the RDS upper once and never go back, cold, most people were sat down and way too far from action. I love absolutely everything about the South Stand...well, atmosphere wise and view wise. Giving Luca Toni dogs abuse from four rows up was so much fun
Was going to go and post the same thing. Happy days, I suppose at least it will be less frustrating as that will be what we expect to see, as apposed a team we know that can actually play football on the ground but rarely deliver.
