  1. It hurts, but we have to move on, no point dwelling on the past, though its what we do best though eh? It was a terrible result, but not the worst, its not like we got horsed, just unlucky and carelessness . It happens to us a lot but thats life. It made easier for me by just realising this and that its not the end of the world, had that have happened in the final, I would have been even more gutted. All that matters now is trying to finish strongly, and I think the players want this too. They owe us and they know it.
  2. So its your fault then
  3. See TF, the way I read his comments were alluding to the fact that maybe someone important was missing...hence a better atmosphere in the team and seemed to play better.
  4. I still think we need to keep Miller and still maintain, get someone who knows how to play football alongside him and we'd reap the rewards of it. re Pavol Masaryk, AFC have already stated they are not naming names, could have been any number of players in either team he was watching. If he was after ihim, not bad going after a league's 3rd top scorer. :Jimmypullitoutofthebagsmilie: Edit: BigAl, you beat me to it!
  5. totally agree BTR, the underlying message is something we are all thinking about.
  6. I found that quite amusing. Is Mad that have an article in Herald every weekend?
  7. Is it me or did the BBC highlights not miss a lot of our play in that game? Focussed heavily on Hivs as per....
  8. Is it not impossible for us to have 5 wins in a row? since we only have 3 games left? I get what you mean though, our season has been consitantly inconsistent. I just feel there is no point in being negative. Who knows might what happen!
  9. I don't think this will happen, we do ok against them at home (touch wood). We need this. JC needs to save face against Levein. May the rollercoaster continue!
  10. If you wanted to be an arse about it though, you could say, the weather was fantastic, so that can't be used as an excuse, the team were highly unlucky against the green shites last week, and you knew that the team would have something to prove. I know a lot of people were still pissed off from two weeks back, and rightly so, but it doesn't help one bit. Also, I would agree with JC (ok I need to lie down now), usually, the Hibs games are quite entertaining. So there asn't really much of a reason for such a low turnout. As I said, we still have the potential courtesy of a minor miracle to finish third. Its typical Aberdeen to leave it to the last moment, but I'm quite confident, if results keep going our way, we'll be there Maybe its cos the sun has been shining a lot this week, but I feel a lot more optimistic. Stand Free!
  11. From the BBC Gossip column: Aberdeen are poised to sign Darren Young and Mark Burchill after the pair leave Dunfermline. (Scotland on Sunday)
  12. Not the best i've seen before, but it was still pretty good.
  13. Thought he's still a bit of a scare, he is much improved on the previous two seasons. To the point that many would see him as a future captain. I'm not saying he's all that yet, far from it, but I am happy enough to admit he's made progress this season.
  14. COME ON YOU REDS! We can do it!
  15. Don't know what we could complain about! We came from a goal behind, what a result! Maybe Jimmy C should go on holiday more often Nichol for manager!
  16. Down to nine men! Nish just sent off, Jones nearly scores an own goal. Some game!
  17. Can the game just not end now?
  18. Jimmy Nichol for Manager!
  19. Come on, make this peno count! YESSSSS Europe is still on
  20. Thats something I didn't expect to see! A Mackie goal!
  21. God we really need to take advantage of all this possession and poor hivs play. Typical Aberdeen, wasted so many good chances, Severin playing shite as ever. Season over sadly now I just can't see us scoring against them today.
  22. Apparently about 500-600 people in the upper RDS. Pittodrie is empty. Not convinced by this start, open goal missed and langfield trying to gift a goal to the Hivs.
  23. Sounds absolutely quiet at Pittodrie, even heard the HIVS fans!
  24. Woohoo, the dream lives on! Come on ewe Reds!
