  1. Would have liked to have kept Nicholson and Miller, but out of that list, we only need/want Maybury to sign. The rest aren't even worthy of polishing Angus' boots.
  2. But is Seve even bloody compatible for Aberdeen!?!? I still think it was a ludicrous decision not to have him on the bench on sat. Heard the Foster thing on sunday. Good on him if true, so when will he be leaving then?
  3. So whats that then Steven Pressley or some hasbeen like that? Do your job, whatever that maybe wm.
  4. Nicholson and Miller were two of the better players on saturday, but when I read they were getting another 10 days, I thought it was a joke. As much as I am sad to see them both leaving and quite scared of the future without them, we need to blood some youngsters and not play these two. We have nothing to play for now and nothing to lose.
  5. I'm sick to death of hearing the same pish week in week out. JC, you clearly don't know what you're doing.
  6. Out of that list, surprisingly I still managed to get 14, but thats including loanees and players that are certain to leave.
  7. Who is this decent striker you speak of? As far as I can see, our only two are both leaving this summer Mackie is a squad player but I was talking to topcorner about this today. Imagine, next season our strike force will be Maguire and Mackie
  8. So Dan's been on his week trial by now, what are the chances of him staying down there?
  9. I think the way the JC era could be described in the future is, the "if" era. If only we'd played a sensible formation and played players in position. If only we'd replaced crucial players in critical positions with players worthy of those first team berths. There are so many whats if's I cannot be bothered typing them out. I wish he could leave, but he cannot, but I shall still support the team next season. This season is a write off only in the manner we have lost out...pathetically.
  10. Too right Ajja! The season is over now, so I can now worry about my studies. I have given Eccosse's season ticket to Topcorner as I felt there was no point in wasting my money or putting my studies in jepardy for that shower of shite. Roll on August!
  11. I wouldn't shed a tear if Seve left. How he's still club captain is beyond me, but then again, who else would you give it to? Nicholson would be the only one, but he's leaving. There is currently no-one at the club who is of captain standard. Zander may do because of what he gives to the team. Had a dreadful game yesterday but it happens, he's young and he will learn from it. I'm just so disillusioned right now I don't know what to think or how the club are going to lift themselves up from this. It has been like this all season but this was by far the biggest defeat of them all.
  12. I think it really is time for JC to go. I've had enough of it and i'm just grateful I haven't had to endure many of those performances this season. But, I don't see him going. As a few others said yesterday, from about the middle of the first half I was yelling for them to get it down on the deck, because on the few occassions we did, we tore their defence apart! I'm just numb with confussion and embrassment that a team like ours has lost another four goals in a semi. It was a complete farce. I'm not quite sure how the club can move forward from this, because I don't think we can afford to, but can we afford not to? We need a helluva investment this summer and I think we're going to miss Miller and Nicholson IMMENSELY next season. Miller won near enough every ball again, just maguire was running about like a headless chicken and then lost it. Another thing which someone else has said, I really thought the players don't look comfortable, like the world is on their shoulders which would have to be the fear of failure and hence being repremanded. Its not a good thing for a team at all to have. I just wonder what the hell he said in the changing room before, during and after the game because whatever it was, it didn't work.
  13. I too am totally sober and gutted. In fact, after the game, I went to bed! mainly cos i'd had 3 hours sleep the night before but still. The thing is, I think we've all known for sometime that something isn't quite right down Pittodrie way. I admire your rationality sneckie, and I ythink I agree with you. We were devoid of anything today. Within the forst 10 seconds you could tell how it was going to go. We had no fight, no vision, it was like a team full of strangers. I just can't help but think where we're going to go from this, w have no money, the players can't be arsed, and elements within the club loath the support...its just a bit of a mess. Good luck to QoS though. They thoroughly deserved it. I'm just incredibly gutted and jealous its not us in the final
  14. Indeed, I certainly didn't think it was a foregone conclusion. In fact I was saying to my mates when we beat the oirish that it would be typical aberdeen to lose to QoS...how right was i As you said swaddon, you wouldn't stake anything on aberdeen to win anything!
  15. Absolute cunts. An absolute farce. Words cannot explain my anger.
  16. Never been to Hampden for any game whatsoever So it makes going there on saturday even the more memorable "hopefully!"
  17. I'd say, Severin, Miller and Zander are all on 4k + are they not?
  18. the words, no chance spring to mind
  19. I'd have thought so, its about time we cemented them as our a feeder club
  20. Saturday should be a session right enough! Are we going to see a repeat of you at St. Midden last season? Go on
  21. Thats what I was surprised to read....next season!?!? I would have thought he'd be retiring or moving to a lower league team closer to auld reekie
  22. I'm nervously excited about this game! Come on you reds!
  23. Its this sort of stuff AFC don't sell anymore (or never did i'm not sure). But there's always been a lack of merchandise available from the club. Apart from my Bayern mug which I love
  24. I'll raise a toast to that then Here's to hoping! Also, beating the huns in the final would be AMAZING.
